  • can router configuration cause decreasing of download rate?

    my download speed got crazy since i changed the routers IP. but nothing got fixed after "reset factory"ing it. the speed was 1024kb/s(128kB/s) but it is 200kb/s(max) right now. i mean it works good if a request is small(i.e. a HTTP request) but it gets slow if a request has a big response. help me please(it is three days I'm downloading VS2010) http://serverfault.com/questions/135243/ no one on serverfault helped me for posting my question please migrate it to serverfault. thanks.

    I am loading an html page into a WebBrowser object in a VB.NET Windows Forms application. The user may make changes to textboxes, dropdowns, etc. on the HTML page displayed in the browser. I want the ability to save the current context to a .pdf file on the local HD. I am able to print using WebBrowser.Print(), which shows the current context, but what ways are possible to get this saved as a PDF file locally?

  • AVAudioPlayer won't play audio file after AVAudioRecorder

    I create a .caf audio file using AVAudioRecorder and if I try and play it back using AVAudioPlay I get no sound on the iPhone (if played in simulator works fine). If I close my application and reopen the file plays fine. Also I am not able to adjust the phone volume after recording unless I close and reopen my application. Any ideas?

The script takes the image, optimizes it and saves to file. How would I make it insert the string "_thumb" for the optimized image? I'm currently saving 1 version of the otpimized file. ch-1268312613-photo.jpg I want to save the original as the above string, but want to append, "_thumb" like the following string ch-1268312613-photo_thumb.jpg

The file has 90K rows and sometimes because of bad data package fails but it insert the partial records before it fails. What I need is if insertion fails at any time between, no records should be inserted into DB, rollback everything. how can I put it in transaction?

Basically what i want to do here is that i have a bunch of aspx and ascx files created by previous versions of vs.net that lacks designer files and now i want to create designer files for those. I can generate empty designer files but what i want is that my code should generate the designer file so that i can remove the extra code from cs files. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi, I've got problems starting my WAR application on a local JBoss.     Anybody know of an IFilter that can index source code files beyond what the "Plain Text" filter can provide, with possibly a custom "Property Set" specific to programming? For example, I have 835MB in 41,000 files and 8,200 folders in my "Code Library" folder. I would like to perform searches such as "select distinct attributes on properties" or "select class exceptions" or "select classes with nested private classes". Preferrably, the IFilter can distinguish between various languages, so I can perform a query like "select class exceptions in VB.NET" or "select 'resume next' in VBScript". Other Examples "select all enum from folder('microsoft source code') in namespace 'system.io'"
