    I am looking for a wordpress plugin which simplifies the registration process by allowing users to sign up on the spot without having to be sent an email? It would be good if you could also pass a redirect_to parameter in the url like you can for the login. Note:Some thoughtless person migrated this question over to super user where it was closed.   • Adding an HTTP Header to the request in a servlet filter

    I'm integrating with an existing servlet that pulls some properties out of the HTTP header. Basically, I'm implementing an interface that doesn't have access to the actual request, it just has access to a map of k-v for the HTTP headers. I need to pass in a request parameter. The plan is to use a servlet filter to go from parameter to header value but of course the HttpServletRequest object doesn't have an addHeader() method. Any ideas?

  • JqTouch - Detect trigger for animation

    Yet another problem I'm having w/ jqTouch... I'm trying to detect what element was clicked to trigger an animation so that I can pass parameters from the clicked item to the subsequent page. None of which seem to work. Is there a better way I could be handling this?   • iPhone SDK: How to record voices with ambient noise supression?

    Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I would minimize ambient noise while recording someone speaking using the iPhone SDK Core Audio? I'm guessing a band-pass filter that eliminates any frequencies above and below the human vocal range might work. I have no idea how I would implement band filters on audio in the SDK though. The optimum solution would be one that eliminates the noise from the stream before it is written to memory/disk. Some sample code would be appreciated.

    I have an application that takes voltages and temperatures as analog inputs and does some processing using an algorithm which involves signal processing such as low-pass filtering, exponential smoothing, and other steps which might typically be done in a high-level programming language such as C or C++. I'm curious how I could perform these same steps using a PLC, and in particular, the Allen-Bradley Control-Logix system? It seems to me that the instruction set with ladder logic is too limited for this. Could I perform this using structured text?

Is there anything in real life that comes close? If not, is it possible to define customized keywords in Java or JSP? Or do I have to create an entirely new programming language for that? What problems do you see with this kind of setup? PS: I know you can use HTML libraries to construct HTML using Java code, but the problem with such libraries is, the source code itself doesn't have a readable HTML representation like the code above does - if you get what I mean.

  • SSH as root using public key still prompts for password on RHEL 6.1

    I've generated rsa keys with cygwin ssh-keygen and copied them to the server with ssh-copy-id -i id_rsa.pub [email protected] I've got the following settings in my /etc/ssh/sshd_config file RSAAuthentication yes PubkeyAuthentication yes AuthorizedKeysFile .ssh/authorized_keys PermitRootLogin yes When I ssh [email protected] it still prompts for a password. The output below from /usr/sbin/sshd -d says that a matching keys was found in the .ssh/authorized_keys file, but it still requires a password from the client. I've read a bunch of web postings about permissions on files and directories, but nothing works. Is it possible to ssh with keys in RHEL 6.1 or is this forbidden?
