• mod_rewrite browser trying to get content from non-existant dir

  I have my mod_rewrite set up so that it redirects all requests that aren't targeting existing files or directories to index.php?req=* where * is the request. Works all fine but when I send the browser to something like this: http://myurl/A/B/C The browser tries to find all images, stylesheets in the non-existing folder C. How can I make the browser to look in / instead of the 'virtual' directory? Do I have to put an absolute path everywhere?

• Subversion: Change working directory's target repo

  I know, other RCS are better, but... I have moved an SVN repository from file:///path/to/repo to http://host.name/svn/repo but there is a working directory (checkout out from file://) with changes that want commiting to the http location. How then, can I change the repo a working directory will commit to when issuing svn commit? I'd rather do that than checkout a new copy and sync changes locally. Also, handy to know for the future.

  I would like users to be able to see the corresponding URL for an anchor tag generated by Html.ActionLink() when they hover over the link. This is done by setting the title attribute but where I'm stuck is figuring out how to get that value: @Html.ActionLink(@testrun.Name, "Download", "Trx", new { path = @testrun.TrxPath }, new { title = ??) How can I specify the URL that ActionLink is going to generate? I could hardcode something I guess but that violates DRY.

  Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm unable to open a subdirectory within a symboliclink'd directory. I've confirmed that the paths are correct (even copy & pasted the path into explorer, which parsed it fine). This is a strange, annoying, bug :|. The icons are used in different classes so it doesn't really make sense to store them in one of those classes in particular. I read that global variables are evil, but is it acceptable to use a class (eg Commons) containing only public static final fields to store this king of data ?   So here is my code if (!File.Exists(pathName)) { File.Create(pathName); } StreamWriter outputFile = new StreamWriter(pathName,true); But whenever I run the program the first time the path with file gets created. However once I get to the StreamWriter line my program crashes because it says my fie is in use by another process. Is there something I'm missing between the File.Create and the StreamWriter statements?

  I've got an old project in Eclipse 2.1 and compiled with a JDK 1.4.2_12. I want to upgrade the version of Eclipse to Eclipse Galileo. I've imported my project and set the compilation level to 1.4 and I've also updated my build path to use the correct JDK. The problem is that when I compare the compiled files in the classes folder in the two versions of Eclipse, the MD5 checksum are different. Should I be worried about that fact or this is normal?

  I recently read the source code of couch-db, I find this type definition which i don't understand: -type branch() :: {Key::term(), Value::term(), Tree::term()}. -type path() :: {Start::pos_integer(), branch()}. -type tree() :: [branch()]. I did read Erlang doc, But what is the meaning of Start, Key, Value and Tree? From what i understand, they are Erlang variables! I didn't find any information about this in Erlang doc.
