• [.net] Treeview prevent Node collapse (weird problem)

  Hey guyz! I have a .net 2.0 C# Project. I have a Treeview with 2 Nodes, each of them has many child nodes. When you click on a child node, a PDF is displayed in a webbrowser control depending on the properties of the node. Fine, but the problem is that when both Nodes are expanded, and I click on a child node, the other node gets collapsed! I don't have any code that collapses any node of the treeview, but somehow it happens! I also had a look at the BeforeCollapse Event, but somehow it doesn't fire, alltough the other node collapses! Can anyone imagine why this happens? I would be very grateful if anyone can teach me how to prevent this happening! Thank you very much!

  We are using bcrypt for passwords and data that never needs to be decrypted. What should do to protect other user information that does. For this example lets say that we didn't want a users real name to be in plain text in case someone was to obtain the db. This is somewhat sensitive data but also needs to be called from time to time and displayed in plain text. Is there a simple way to do this?

• Can't save data for a member in a data form

  Implied sharing is an old thing everyone knows the reasons and solutions of that, still little theory about that: With Essbase implied sharing, some members are shared even if you do not explicitly set them as shared. These members are implied shared members. When an implied share relationship is created, each implied member assumes the other member’s value. Essbase assumes (or implies) a shared member relationship in these situations: 1. A parent has only one child 2. A parent has only one child that consolidates to the parent In a Planning form that contains members with an implied sharing relationship, when a value is added for the parent, the child assumes the same value after the form is saved. Likewise, if a value is added for the child, the parent usually assumes the same value after a form is saved.For example, when a calculation script or load rule populates an implied share member, the other implied share member assumes the value of the member populated by the calculation script or load rule. The last value calculated or imported takes precedence. The result is the same whether you refer to the parent or the child as a variable in a calculation script. A dynamic calc parent to a single child:  If we design the form with following selection: In the data form we will find parent below the member and this is by design whenever you make a selection using commands to select all the member below parent, always children will appear before the parent: Lets try to enter data, Save it Now, try to change the way we selected members Here we go: Now the question again why this behavior: 1. Data from Planning data form passes to Essbase row by row, 2. Because in data form the child member appears before the parent, 3. First, data goes to Essbase for child (SingleStoreChild), 4. Then when Planning passes the data for parent there was #Missing or No data,  5. Over writes the data to #missing. PS: As we know that dynamic calc members are calculated on the fly they are not allocated with any memory in the Essbase, here the parent was dynamic calc and it was pointing to same memory as child in the background, when Planning was passing data to Essbase for second row it has updated the child with missing data.(Little confusing, let me know if you need more explanation) 6. How do I get and install the 64 bit version of this lib?

  I have a single model in CakePHP that has multiple forms on different pages of the site that I would like to validate differently even where the field name is the same - I have discovered that you can set 'on' to create|update which has been a handy discovery but I am wondering if there is any other way of explicitly declaring rules based on the form that was submitted? Just to rephrase for clarity, form a and form b contain fields of the same name, but if form a is submitted the fields in question should be validated differently than if they were submitted from form b. Possible?

• wxPython TreeCtrl without showing root while still showing arrows

  I am making a python tree visualizer using wxPython. It would be used like so: show_tree([ 'A node with no children', ('A node with children', 'A child node', ('A child node with children', 'Another child')) ]) It worked fine but it shows a root with a value of "Tree". I made it so that it would create multiple roots but then learned that I wasn't allowed to do that. I reverted to the original code but used changed it from this: self.tree = wx.TreeCtrl(self) to this: self.tree = wx.TreeCtrl(self, style=wx.TR_HIDE_ROOT). It worked but it didn't show the little arrows on the side so you wouldn't know which nodes had children. Is there any way to hide the root node but keep the arrows. Note: I am on a Mac using Python version 2.5 and wxPython version 2.8.4.0.

• Dynamically creating astar node map by triangular polygonal map

  My game's map format uses a bunch of triangles to make up the platforms and terrain in 2d. Right now I can set up a 2d array of nodes for the astar algorithm that basically is a bunch of rectangles across the maps x and y that can be set to "wall" if the a* algorithm should try to go around it. However I want a function in the map loader to create the node overlay if the nodes are not specified. I was thinking if more than n percent of the a* rectangle overlaid on map was filled by polygons I could mark that entry in the array as "wall". However I'm stuck on how to do this(or even start) where/when the triangles can be overlapping and also of variable size.

• Drupal node access for anonymous users

  I've never used Drupal before so this may be something that can easily be remedied, and that would be awesome. My problem is that a block, containing node information can't be viewed by anonymous users (unregisterd/not logged in), gives a "You are not authorized to access this content." message, but shows up for logged in users. The nodes that the block contains are events, so the block shows events for the next week. I've checked the users access settings but can't find anything that could possibly remedy this. I'm using drupal core 6.26, Event 6.x-2.x-dev, Event views 6.x-2.4 If anyone has any information, or solutions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

• jQuery ajax form submit - multiple post/get requests caused when validation fails

  Hi, I have a problem where if a form submission (set up to submit via AJAX) fails validation, the next time the form is submitted, it doubles the number of post requests - which is definitely not what I want to happen. I'm using the jQuery ValidationEngine plugin to submit forms and bind validation messages to my fields. This is my code below. I think my problem may lie in the fact that I'm retrieving the form action attribute via $('.form_container form').attr('action') - I had to do it this way as using $(this).attr was picking up the very first loaded form's action attr - however, when i was loading new forms into the page it wouldn't pick up the new form's action correctly, until i removed the $(this) selector and referenced it using the class. Can anyone see what I might be doing wrong here? • Help me understand Inorder Traversal without using recursion

  I am able to understand preorder traversal without using recursion, but I'm having a hard time with inorder traversal. I just don't seem to get it, perhaps, because I haven't understood the inner working of recursion. Also, some of the elements are getting printed twice; may be I can solve this by checking if that node has been printed before, but that requires another variable, which, again, doesn't feel right. Where am I going wrong? I haven't tried postorder traversal, but I guess it's similar and I will face the same conceptual blockage there, too. Thanks for your time!   Hi, I'm trying to create a file which has the following structure: - Each line has 32 bytes - Each line looks like this format string: "%10i %3.7f %3.7f\n" My Problem is the following: When i have a negative floating point numbers the line gets longer by one or even two characters because the - sign does not count to the "%3.7f". EDIT: After some reading I have got a little bit of code, but it is giving me problems. For some reason I cannot get my script to work based on the state of the form input (enabled or disabled) or the state of my checkbox (checked or unchecked), but my script works fine when I base it on the values of the form inputs. I have written my code exactly like several examples online (mainly this one) but to no avail. None of the stuff that is commented out will work. • Is there a Google Chrome extension or userscript that will "bottom-justify" form fields?

  When using Google Chrome, I would like to have a page scroll up so the bottom of form fields are at or above the bottom of the window when I click in the text input to begin entering something. However, if the form height is larger than the window, the top should not be scrolled off automatically. I want to go from: to: An bonus essential feature would be for the input box to automatically be resized in height (but not width) to fill the window. This feature ideally would be configurable: enable/disable and margin above and below. There should be no scrolling or resizing for one-line input boxes. Is there an extension or userscript that does something like this?

• init.d service died

  Adapting some code from a linux forum, I've added a service script to /etc/init.d on my ubuntu natty server to start/stop/restart node.js It literally was working the first day I made it, but then today, after viewing my website this morning, the server threw a 404, and upon further inspection, the node.js process was gone. So I went to start the service again, only this time, node.js didn't start at all, and ever since I haven't been able to get my service script working.
