  • Alignment for image display on hover works only in IE7?

    Hello, I tried to display a image when a mouseover on text occurs. It works fine. And the alignment of the image should be shown such that the end of the image should be at the container. It works fine with the code shown below, Only in IE7. In everything, it gets chopped off..     How can i use regular expressions with linq to sql in the asp.net mvc(C#) application? The columns in my MSSQL table (Products) has some special characters like (, - % ',.....). While searching for a product i need to search without that special chareters. For ex.: I have a product say (ABC-Camp's / One), when i search for "abccamp", it should pull the product.     Hi, I have a sample ASP.NET application. The appliaction was developed as POC and not following any design and architectural standards. Now I want to restructure the application. I can see some of the business logic and controls can be reused in future, such as login control. I have two options for restructuring I create a Utility DLL that will contain all such resusable code and another DLL that will contain all controls that can be reused. I will create a separeate DLL for each type which can be reused e.g. Login control. Which option is more better. Although I feel option 1 is good, but I need suggestion from experts.

  • How to use SSRS to retrieve HTML snippets with embedded images the easy way

    I have a web-app that retrieves reports from our SSRS server dynamically - we hit a URL and out pops some HTML4.0 which I stuff into a div for the user to view. I recently tried adding a report that has an embedded image (in the RDL itself) and the image doesn't make it through. What does make it through is an IMG SRC reference back to the SSRS box but we do not allow end users to hit the SSRS box directly... users query the web-app and the web-app interacts with the SSRS service. There is an option to render in MHTML (note that we typically use rs:command=RenderHTML with rs:format=HTML4.0) - the blob returned appears to be valid MIME but does not seem friendly for stuffing into a DIV... am I missing something obvious? My next step is to parse the MIME, swizzle the references and stuff the whole thing back into the page but I feel like this is the hardway. What is the easy way to retrieve HTML snippet reports out of SSRS with embedded images?

    iam using asp.net and asp.net-ajax every thing happens on browser urls are of format http://somepage#page1 http://somepage#page2 http://somepage#page3 now all these urls are in a secured folder when logged in user directly types (or use bookmark) a url like below, he is shown that page http://somepage#page2 -- (bookmarked url lying in secured folder) now when a user user who is not logged in directly type above url he gets redirected to login page but on login page in redirection url iam unable to read characters after pound (#) sign. iam just getting redirection url= "http://somepage" while i want it to be "http://somepage#page2" is there is any way i can do this

  • How long does it take in practice to warm up large in-memory databases?

    Companies such as Peak Hosting are offering 64 core machines with 512Gb RAM for $2K/month. This is a very interesting choice for in-memory databases such as Memcached/Redis as well as databases whose performance degrades rapidly when the data & indexes don't fit in RAM, such as MongoDB. My main concern with monster machines such as these is the time it takes to warm up an in-memory database. In my experience, theoretical metrics, e.g., that SATA can load 100Mb/sec, fall short of what happens in practice. Even at that rate, 100Mb/sec means that loading up 512Gb RAM machine from SATA disks can take over 1 1/2 hours (!). I am looking for real-world reports of warm-up times for machines with very large memory. Please, share details of the software on the machine, data size, storage configuration, e.g., SATA or SSD, network, hosting/cloud provider, if relevant, etc.

    I am trying to get the value of base_path variable in PHP (on lamp server) . I have kept the code insider beta_test directory inside www directly. i.e, base path function should return " /beta_test/ " . But it is returning just single slash ( "/" ) . The code that I tried is <script type="text/javascript" src="<?php print base_path(); ?>sites/all/themes/people10/slider/call.js"></script> Expected output is <script type="text/javascript" src="/beta_test/sites/all/themes/people10/slider/call.js"></script> But its giving <script type="text/javascript" src="/sites/all/themes/people10/slider/call.js"></script> I am using php version 5.3.3.Can anyone please help me in getting this issue solved?
