    Do you know of any existing implementation in any language (preferably python) of any entity set expansion algorithms, such that the one from Google sets ? ( http://labs.google.com/sets ) I couldn't find any library implementing such algorithms and I'd like to play with some of those to see how they would perform on some specific task I would like to implement.   • Is there a setting in Exchange Server 2007 that we can set to make these headers propogate and be received by a POP/IMAP client?

    When using EWS Managed API to send Email via Exchange Server 2007. I noticed that MAPI clients like MS Outlook display all custom headers. But when I use POP3/IMAP clients like MS Outlook Express. I have noticed that these custom headers do not display in the message opened from MS Outlook Express. Is there a setting in Exchange Server 2007 that we can set to make these custom headers propagate and be received by a POP/IMAP client? Also why do custom headers in example below display up in lower case in MAPI clients like MS Outlook? But surprisingly if we use SMTPClient class to send email then these headers display as sent with Case Sensitive letters. eg. Header. I need a method to create text files for all the attributes that the user has added. I wan't the files names to be the name attribute and the contents to be the message attribute.   • Setting up ProxyPass for a Virtualmin virtual server

    I am trying to set up my web server so that I can server multiple Ghost.org blogs. I am stuck in one crucial step. To be honest, my knowledge in servers is not so big, so I request your help to do this. Basically, a tutorial I'm reading suggests I set up a VirtualHost in this way: NameVirtualHost *:80 <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName your-url.com ServerAlias www.your-url.com ProxyRequests off ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:2368/ ProxyPassReverse / http:/127.0.0.1:2368/ </VirtualHost> So I have gone to the Virtual site on Virtualmin to try to add everything as is. Services Configure Website Edit Directives The problem is, the previous page (Services Configure website) says I can't edit the port: This Apache virtual host belongs to the Virtualmin server linguist.andyibanez.com, so the address, port, base directory and hostname cannot be changed here. And whenever I try to add the ProxyRequests off (the other two can be added fine) directive in Edit Directives manually, I'm simply told that the directive can't be there. So what is the right way to "add" the last three directives in the VirtualHost above to my sub server? Maybe I'm missing a menu item that will help me with this? I request your help as I have looked for a while, Google keeps thinking I want to serve Webmin via Apache when I google "Set up Virtualmin proxypass", and I have no clue what to do.

  • Java Plugin a huge security risk? How to preseve Java plugin from privilege escalation?

    Installing a regular Java plugin is IMHO a real security risk for non-IT people. Normally Java applets run in a sandbox and the applet cannot do anything harmful to your computer. If an applet, however, needs to do something like read-only accessing your filesystem e.g. uploading an image, you have to give it more privileges. Usually that's ok but I think not everyone knows that you give the applet the same privileges to your computer as your user has! And that's everything Java asks you: That looks as 'harmful' as a self-signed SSL certificate on a random page where no sensitive data is exchanged. The user will click on Run! You can try that at home using JyConsole, that's Jython (Python on Java)! Simply type in python code, e.g. import os os.system('cat /etc/passwd') or worse DON'T TYPE IN THAT CODE ON YOUR COMPUTER!!! import os os.system('rm -rf ~') ... Does anyone know how you can disable the possibily of privilege escalation? And by the way, does anyone know why SUN displays only a dialog as harmless as the one shown above (the self-signed-SSL-certificate-dialog from Firefox 3 and above is much clearer here!)?     Hi, I don't know if it's appropriate to ask for this but I really need to know what's the initial content of /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/conf/httpd.include on Godaaddy's VDS because the conf directory was accidentally deleted by somebody and now I cannot start Apache. We didn't purchase an assited service plan so Godaddy won't help me with this. So please, if you're using Godaddy's VDS plan, please help me with this. ** I also need to include in httpd.conf the lines needed for Plesk to work. Thanks a lot

  • Loading a Page into a jQuery Dialog

    I tend to follow a fairly "modular" approach to building applications and I recently started working with jQuery. The application I'm working on is going to be fairly large so I'm trying to break pieces out into separate files/modules when possible. One example of this is a "User Settings" dialog. This dialog has a form, a few tabs, and quite a good number of input fields so I want to develop it in a separate HTML file (PHP actually, but it can be considered HTML for the purposes of this example). It's an entire page in and of itself with all the tags you would expect such as: <html><head></head><body></body></html> So I can now develop, what I want to be, the dialog separate from the base application. This dialog has it's own Javascript (A LOT of Javascript, in fact) in the head as well, with jQuery $(document).ready(){} capturing, etc. Everything works flawlessly in isolation. However, when I attempt to load the jQuery modal dialog with the page (inside of the main application page), as one might expect, trouble ensues. Here's a brief, very simple, example of what it looks like: editUserDialog.load ("editUser.php", {id : $('#userList').val(), popup : "true"}, function () { editUserDialog.dialog ("option", "title" , "Edit User"); editUserDialog.dialog ('open'); }); (I'm passing in a "popup" flag to the page so that the page can determine its context -- i.e. as a page or inside of the jQuery dialog). Question 1: When I moved the code from the "head" into "body" (in the editUser.php page) it actually worked for the most part. It seemed that jQuery was calling the $(document).ready() function in the context of the body of the loaded file and not the head. Is this a bad idea? Question 2: Is my process for building this application just totally flawed to begin with? I've scoured the net to attempt to find a "best practices" sort of document to building reasonably large applications using jQuery/PHP without a lot of success so maybe there's something out there someone else is aware of that I've somehow missed. Thanks for bearing with me while I attempt to describe the issues I've encountered and I hope I've accurately described the problem.

The specific directory it should be on my C# drive in my documents is always empty even when the feature is turned on. There where some changes to our network env and it seems my auto recover files are now being mapped to network drive and i need to change it back.     I am getting following error in err file. 110803 6:51:26 InnoDB: Error: table `ims`.`temp_discoveryjobdetails` already exists in InnoDB internal InnoDB: data dictionary. Have you deleted the .frm file InnoDB: and not used DROP TABLE? Have you used DROP DATABASE InnoDB: for InnoDB tables in MySQL version <= 3.23.43? InnoDB: See the Restrictions section of the InnoDB manual. InnoDB: You can drop the orphaned table inside InnoDB by InnoDB: creating an InnoDB table with the same name in another InnoDB: database and copying the .frm file to the current database. InnoDB: Then MySQL thinks the table exists, and DROP TABLE will InnoDB: succeed. InnoDB: You can look for further help from InnoDB: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/innodb-troubleshooting.html And when I do the same, like copying the frm file from other database to here and drop the table, i am getting following error, InnoDB: Error: trying to load index PRIMARY for table ims/temp_discoveryjobdetails InnoDB: but the index tree has been freed! 110803 6:50:26 InnoDB: Error: table `ims`.`temp_discoveryjobdetails` does not exist in the InnoDB internal InnoDB: data dictionary though MySQL is trying to drop it.   • 500 Internal Server Error after changing .NET Framework Version to 4.0 in IIS7

    I just changed my .NET Framework Version of the Application Pools in IIS7 Manager, following these instructions. Now when I try to re-upload my ASP.Net page, it shows me a 500 - Internal server error. I have tried uploading it in .net 2.0(X86, X64, AnyCPU), and 4.0(X86, X64, AnyCPU), and everything gives the same error. This is all the details the error gives me: "There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed." When keeping the .NET version on 2.0 on the server, it works just fine. Also, when uploading "index.htm", it works fine as well, it just shows the HTML page. This is on Windows Server 2008 R2, by the way. EDIT: I have finally found out how to get the error details. Here they are: "Handler "PageHandlerFactory-Integrated" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list." "Most likely causes: •Managed handler is used; however, ASP.NET is not installed or is not installed completely. •There is a typographical error in the configuration for the handler module list. Things you can try: •Install ASP.NET if you are using managed handler. •Ensure that the handler module's name is specified correctly. Module names are case-sensitive and use the format modules="StaticFileModule,DefaultDocumentModule,DirectoryListingModule"." I am sure that I have installed ASP.NET completely. Please help me, -René
