From every gridpoint, the wanderer can go 8 steps north OR 3 steps south OR 5 steps east OR 6 steps west (8N/3S/5E/6W). How can I find the shortest route from (X,Y) to (0,0) using breadth-first search?     I am trying to render a JSON into a HTML table. But the difficulty is making it so it loops through JSON and renders multiple columns if necessary.   • Delphi - Read File To StringList, then delete and write back to file.

    I'm currently working on a program to generate the hashes of files, in Delphi 2010. As part of this I have a option to create User Presets, e.g. pre-defined choice of hashing algo's which the user can create/save/delete. I have the create and load code working fine. It uses a ComboBox and loads from a file "fhpre.ini", inside this file is the users presets stored in format of:- PresetName PresetCode (a 12 digit string using 0 for don't hash and 1 for do) On application loading it loads the data from this file into the ComboBox and an Array with the ItemIndex of ComboBox matching the corrisponding correct string of 0's and 1's in the Array. Now I need to implement a feature to have the user delete a preset from the list.     Does anybody know of a good Jquery solution to checking for swear words when a form is submitted? Basically I have a form which submits to Twitter, upon successfully passing a swear word check it will submit via ajax. I know how to do it in PHP (for non javascript enabled users), I did a foreach loop through an array of predefined bad words and checked them against what was submitted. How would I do a similar thing with Jquery? Thanks

  • How do I call the methods in a model via controller? Zend Framework

    Hi guys, I've been searching for tutorials to better understand this, but I'm having no luck. Please forgive the lengthy explination, but I want make sure I explain myself well. First, I'm quite new to the MVC structure, though I have been doing tutorials and learning as best I can. I have been moving over a live site into the Zend Framework model. So far, I have all the views within views/scripts/index/example.phtml. So therefore I'm using one IndexController and I have the code in each Action method for each page: IE public function exampleAction() Because I didn't know how to interact with a model, I put all the methods at the bottom of the controller (a fat controller). So basically, I had a working site by using a View and Controller and no model. ... Now I'm trying to learn how to incorporate the Model. So I created a View at: view/scripts/calendar/index.phtml I created a new Controller at: controller/CalendarControllers.php and a new model at: model/Calendar.php The problem is I think I'm not correctly communication with the model (I'm still new to OOP). Can you look over my controller and model and tell me if you see a problem. I'm needing to return an array from runCalendarScript(), but I'm not sure if I can return an array into the object like I'm trying to? I don't really understand how to "run" the runCalendarScript() from the controller? Thanks for any help!   • Covariance and contravariance real world example

  • Why do you have to mark a class with the attribute [serializable] ?

    Seeing as you can convert any document to a byte array and save it to disk, and then rebuild the file to its original form (as long as you have meta data for its filename etc.). Why do you have to mark a class with [Serializable] etc? Is that just the same idea, "meta data" type information so when you cast the object to its class things are mapped properly?

    I've found plenty of tutorials / questions on Stackoverflow that deal with copying char arrays from C/JNI side into something like a byte[] in Java, but not the other way around. I am using a native C library which expects a byte array. I simply want to get data from a byte[] in java, into preferably an unsigned char[] in C. Long story short: What is the best way of copying data from a jBytearray in JNI? Is there any way to detect it's size?
