• WPF: Apply ScrollBar Style to ListBox Template - Error object cannot be added to border

  Hi, I thought this may be straightforward question but did not find any definitive answer while searching net or SO. I have created scrollbar style (using standard scroll bard template - Blend 2) I am not sure how to apply this style "MyScrollStyle" to a ListBox Template . I saw on ListBox template they have Scroll Viewer -- which should contain the scrollbar Assuming it is something simple as ---Content Added--- After going through lot of xaml in template edit I kind of understood how to apply style. I am trying to add the scroll view style set in this example -http://blog.xamltemplates.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/scrollviewer.zip, to my list view template but it gives error -- System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException was unhandled Message="'ScrollViewer' object cannot be added to 'Border'.   I have to fix some problems and enchance form designer written long ago for a database project. What confusing me is these windows messages: it seems there is no documentation on WM_SYSCOMMAND with parameters 0xF001-0xF009 (maybe it starts some kind of 'drag/resize sequence'). Any ideas? If my suggestion is right, then how can I cancel these sequences?

  Hi all, I am using Ajax.dll in my web application.I need to refresh a page for maintaining a session more than one hour, So I created a ajax method that will be called for every 15 mins.   I'm trying to import IIS logs into SQL Server 2008. I get this error below. Error 0xc02020a1: Data Flow Task 1: Data conversion failed. The data conversion for column "cs(User-Agent)" returned status value 4 and status text "Text was truncated or one or more characters had no match in the target code page.". (SQL Server Import and Export Wizard) I tried changing the column width of user agent to varchar(8000) and nvarchar(4000) no luck. pls help -Vivek

  I am attempting to create a strongly typed view with a "MVC View User Control" that is being rendered using Html.RenderPartial(). The top of my ascx file looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>" %> There is nothing else on this page, currently. When I execute the app and load the page that renders this control, I get the following error: Could not load type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>'. So, then I simplified it: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<String>" %> And then, just in case it needed to be fully qualified: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.String>" %> Everytime I get the same error (substituting type). what am I doing wrong here? I'm on .NET 3.5 with ASP.NET MVC 1.0 RTM.

• EOF error encountered while converting bytearray to bitmapdata

  I am using var bitmapdata:BitmapData=new BitmapData(); var pixels:Bytearray=new Bytearray(); pixels = rleDecodePixles(); bitmapdata.setPixels(bitmapdata.rect, pixels); In the 4th line in the code above i am getting "Error: Error #2030: End of file was encountered." I checked the length of the pixels object which is 4 times the width*height of the rect object. Given that setPixels() functions reads unsigned int from bytearray and sets that value to pixels, I think it should work. But I have no clue why this wont work. The pixels object is filled after RLE decoding of the data which i get from a server. Is there any work around or any other method which I could try to use. The loader class wont work as the data that I get from the server is not in any of the recognized format. Any help is greatly appreciated. Shrikant Thanks.

• Trying to draw a Rectangle to a Custom Container in Flex4/AS3

  So below is the code I have so far. For now I simply want to make it draw a square and have it show up. Right now when I click the area defined in MXML as <components:PaintArea width="100%" height="100%" id="paint-a"></PaintArea> it shows nothing; however, the actionlistener is getting triggered and an element is being added to the group. Not sure exactly what is going on... perhaps for some reason it doesn't think the element is drawable? • Custom Fill Property on PathGeometry in Silverlight

  I've been looking at (and getting confused by) Dependency Properties - I'm not sure if this is what I need or if there is something else. I'm looking to something very specific with <Path.Data/> children in Silverlight, in particular <PathGeometry/>, <EllipseGeometry/>, etc. While the <Path/> element has a .Fill property, I'd like to add a .Fill property to any of it's Geometries, meaning it's a different color from it's parent. It could be a <SolidColorBrush/> or <LinearGradientBrush/> color, or a percentage of the parent color (like 20% darker than <Path.Fill/>. Is this possible? Is this a dependency property? How would <RectangleGeometry/>, for example, know that I am trying to fill it with a color? How would I get started? (adding WPF as a tag too as someone who knows WPF may be able to help)

• Redmine error undefined local variable 'usage' when recieving email

  I posted this on the Redmine forum about 20 days ago but am having no luck finding an answer, so I thought I'd see if I can find some love here: Somewhere during an upgrade to RM I lost the ability to have RM receive email. It was running just beautifully on 8.5. Some while back I upgraded and was not using the receive email feature for some time. At 9.2 and, now, 0.9.3.stable.3625, I'm getting an error in the procmail.log file: undefined local variable or method `usage' for #<RedmineMailHandler:0x6c14d34bb0a0> (NameError) I have a SVN install and used it, just tonight, to update the the 9.3 stable version. I walked through all the upgrade steps and everything seems to work fine, except for this. In rdm-redminehandler.rb I commented out the offending 'usage' line and got another error: 422 Unprocessable Entity

• error when installing rubyzip in Unbuntu: requires >= 1.9.2

  I am using backtrack linux. Tried to upgrade BeEF project. Now it is missing some Ruby Gems and running bundle install gives the error: Gem::InstallError: rubyzip requires Ruby version >= 1.9.2 So I tried gem install rubyzip -v '1.0.0' and got the following: Error installing rubyzip: rubyzip requires Ruby version >= 1.9.2 but... the command ruby -v gives me: ruby 1.9.2dev (2010-07-02) Tried to update ruby to 1.9.3 so I'm not sure why rubyzip is giving that requirement and would be grateful for help. I edited the Gemfile and edited out the requirement for rubyzip and BeEF seems to work fine. I'd still like to know the answer. I checked which ruby version bundler was using and it is 1.9.2dev. I read other answers to similar issues and consensus is to use RVM but it doesn't answer the question of why I can't install rubyzip. Thanks a lot!

  I am following this tutorial, I'm using netbeans 6.5.1 http://www.netbeans.org/kb/docs/java/gui-db-custom.html When I get to the part where I create the "new entity class from database", which is in the "Customizing the Master/Detail View" section of the tutoiral. I can't ever compile because I get this error in the task list (and I get a runtime error when I run)... Atleast I think these two are related.   Hi all, I am building an asp.net application, using II6 on windows server 2003 (vps hosting). I am confronted with an error I didn't receive on my development machine (windows 7, iis 7.5, 64 bit). When my wcf service tries launching my query running against a local sql server this is the error I receive: Memory gates checking failed because the free memory (43732992 bytes) is less than 5% of total memory. As a result, the service will not be available for incoming requests. To resolve this, either reduce the load on the machine or adjust the value of minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService on the serviceHostingEnvironment config element. and ideas??

• Android: Saving custom button and spinner on orientation change

  Hello All, I am new to Android programming and was handed a fairly large program that is almost complete, but needed support for switching between portrait and landscape view. I added android:configChanges="keyboardHidden|orientation" to the manifest and used onConfigurationChanged to save the view data and that works. However, there is a button that displays the date selected (when pressed a calendar to select the date comes up) and a spinner that displays the current view and is used to select a new view. Those two items are being cleared/reset and do not work at all after the screen flip. I have been attempting to use onSaveInstanceState and onRestoreInstanceState to fix that, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Any advice?   Hi, I've attempted to add the TopSongs parser and Core Data files into my application, and it now builds succesfully, with no errors or warning messages. However, as soon as the app loads, it crashes, giving the following reason: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'executeFetchRequest:error: A fetch request must have an entity.' I have renamed all files, including the .xcdatamodel file. Could this be the problem (the renaming of the .xcdatamodel)? I'm assuming this error means that no data can be found. Thanks.

• Android "Hello World" tutorial program. Error: [Parse Error] There is a problem parsing the package

  Today I decided to start developing for the Android OS. I went on their website, downloaded all the required software (Eclipse, The Android SDK, ADT Plugin for Eclipse etc.). I followed the "Hello World" tutorial supplied (link text). I have it using the Android SDK 2.1. The program worked almost flawlessly. It runs fine on the Android emulator, but doesn't install on any Android phones. I don't own an Android phone, so I had three of my friends try to install the program on theirs. The phones we used were: ROOTED G1 running 2.1 Droid running 2.1 Another Droid running 2.1 I emailed the .apk to myself in gmail, and accessed it via the Android emulator. It ran and installed the package just fine. However, when my friends tried to install it on their phones, they were all met with this error: "[Parse Error] There is a problem parsing the package" I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what may be wrong.
