  I am making an example app of a game. I have a folder i set as the current directory from within visual studios which includes pngs,ogg,config.json,etc. When i 'publish' these files are not included. How do i properly add a media files/folders into the project?

  Hey, I'm trying to redirect something like foo/bar to ?foo=bar, so I can do www.mydomain.com/hey/foo/bar to www.mydomain.com/hey/?foo=bar, but I can't seem to get the syntax right. I tried the following: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^foo/(.*)$ ?foo=bar [NC] But this doesn't work. How would I accomplish this? I tried adding a forward slash behind the question mark, but that makes it link to the root directory. Thanks, Jengerer

Looking through Wordpress's plugin directory, I found several plugins that "CMS-ify" the admin side of things, hiding menu options and the like. Are there any "admin-cleaning" plugins you'd recommend? Are there any other plugins I should look into?

  Is there a simple way to recursively find all files in a directory hierarchy, that do not end in a list of extensions? E.g. all files that are not *.dll or *.exe UNIX/GNU find, powerful as it is, doesn't seem to have an exclude mode (or I'm missing it), and I've always found it hard to use regular expressions to find things that don't match a particular expression. I'm in a Windows environment (using the GnuWin32 port of most GNU tools), so I'm equally open for Windows-only solutions.

• IIS not giving line numbers in stack trace even though pdb present

  Web config has debug=true and the project is a debug build and the pdb files are present in the bin directory, but I do not get line numbers in my stacktrace when an execption is thrown. Works fine with local IIS/Cassini but not on our test IIS servers. Is there some obvious setting that I might be missing?

  In my answer to this question, where the asker needed a fast way to get a directory listing of a folder on a network drive, I suggested using the DOS "dir" command. Unfortunately, it's a command, not a program, so you can't execute it with CreateProcess and so I had to put it in a batch file. I don't really like that solution. It feels like a hack to me. Does anyone know a way to run dir from Delphi instead of from an external batch file?

I want these applications to periodically check for new versions available at specific URL, automatically download new versions and replace themselves with new versions without attracting any user attention (keeping in mind that users may run Windows from XP to 7 and work using non-privileged account (which can be part of active directory)). Alternatively the whole update package has to be able to be distributed as an unattended-installed MSI package. Any recommendations on implementing this?

I am trying to include few data files along with the package.. here is my code.. from distutils.core import setup setup(name='Scrapper', version='1.0', description='Scrapper', packages=['app', 'db', 'model', 'util'], data_files=[('app', ['app/scrapper.db'])] ) The zip file created after executing python setup.py sdist does not include the scrapper.db file. I decided to use emacs, but I get a weird error when running the script: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like the shebang ends in \r\n instead of just \n. How can I tell emacs to only write \n? I'm in Shell-script major mode. It's quite surprising this isn't fixed by default.

  When I run a Java application that should be reading from a file in Eclipse, I get a java.io.FileNotFoundException, even though the file is in the correct directory. I can compile and run the application from the command line just fine; the problem only occurs in Eclipse, with more than one project and application. Is there a setting I need to change in the run configurations or build paths to get it to find the file correctly?

I am trying to do the following: When a user types http://www.example.com/csc/alabama/ I need to pull info from http://www.example.com/csc/index.php?state=alabama I thought it should be this Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^csc/([^/]*)$ /csc/index.php?state=$1 [L] I keep getting a 404 error. On a side note, I would like to be able to do this with a generic sub-directory, so that csc could be abc or anything else but this is not the priority.

  I have a drupal site install at example.com/drupal but now that the site is built I want to forward all requests to that directory, without it ever showing "drupal" in url. I think this can be done with .htaccess, but I didn't know if that was a hack-y answer. I'm using mediatemple's GridServer so I don't have complete control over apache settings and stuff, although I do have SSH.
