    I want to delete a file named workspaces\google-gson-1.7.1-release.zip Yep, it contains a backslash in the name. Here it is: G:\>dir Z_DRIVE Volume in drive G is samsung Volume Serial Number is 48B9-7E1D Directory of G:\Z_DRIVE 04/06/2012 08:09 PM <DIR> . 04/06/2012 08:09 PM <DIR> .. 05/01/2011 02:21 PM 528,016 workspaces\google-gson-1.7.1-release.zip 1 File(s) 528,016 bytes 2 Dir(s) 88,400,478,208 bytes free The first attempt is to just delete it from the Windows Explorer, but it says it can't find the file. Then, I tried from the command line: G:\>del Z_DRIVE\workspaces\google-gson-1.7.1-release.zip The system cannot find the file specified. And, after researching a bit in the internets, I also tried the following, with no luck: G:\>del \\?\G:\Z_DRIVE\workspaces\google-gson-1.7.1-release.zip The system cannot find the file specified. Other than booting from some Linux CD, is there a way to get rid of this file?   • Why does Oracle SQL Developer take so long to open?

    I think anyone who's used Oracle SQL Developer will agree that it's painfully slow on the load. My research has lead me to a solution that seems to have helped a little, and that's telling OSQLD not to check for updates on startup. However, it still takes several minutes to open. What could OSQLD possibly be doing during load time? Is there any way get it to open right away? Edit: Adding potentially relevant system specs: CPU: Intel i5-2520M 2.5 ghz Windows 7 32-bit RAM: 4 gb

  • Vertically center CSS techniques don't work in Chrome

    I've gone through stackoverflow questions and a whole bunch of articles on vertically centering text like the following: http://blog.themeforest.net/tutorials/vertical-centering-with-css/ None of the techniques seem to work with the latest version of Chrome. Is that just the nature of Chrome? My text just always appears at the top. It seems that whenever I use 50% or 100% as values for CSS's height or top, nothing happens. I just need a single line of text vertically centered. line-height isn't helpful because I want it centered in the middle of the browser window... I don't know how tall the browser window is going to be. UPDATE: The problem is apparently Foundation 4. Once I delete the following everything works as expected: <link href="/assets/foundation_and_overrides.css?body=1" media="screen" rel="stylesheet" /> Any idea on how to make it work with Foundation 4?

  • Center container horizontally and vertically

    Looking over other question on this site, I used a method of setting all the positions to 0 with auto margins, but this has some unwanted behavior. If you resize the window vertically, the top of the container moves off of the top of the page. It needs to stop when it hits the top. As far as I can see the Software Center icon isn't in nautilus /usr/share/unity/5/ so where could it be?

    Hello, I want to be able to keep a text on the left, but in the middle of a div. <div id=sel>text goes here</div> and my CSS for the same sel{ text-align:left; vertical-align:middle; } The characters and lines of the text may vary.   • 3 DIV's - Center Middle and Others taking up rest of room

    I need to have 3 DIV's - you can see 3 colors in the above image. The middle DIV needs always be 960px and alls needs to be centered (you can see the 2 grey lines above). The other 2 DIV's need to take up all the other available space. If I zoom in and out of the page the red and yellow DIV's need to expand with the page while the middle green one remains centered. I've tried DIV solutions and Table solutions and I can't get it to fit.   • How do I find and kill a php loop (process)?

    I have a php script that I have been developing which calls an external api within a loop. It is being tested on a VPS which is running LAMP on Debian. I noticed this morning that the api was not responding to my script. When I called the provider, they told me that my server had been calling the api 1000's of times per hour for the past 10 hours. I am assuming that a php script (which I have been working on the day before and testing on my VPS) entered into an infinite loop during one of the executions, and never came out (I have been testing it from the command prompt, and not over the web.) I have attempted to stop and start Apache, but the api support staff says that the calls are still coming in from my server address. How can I find and stop the process? Also, is there a possibility that the Apache stop/start solved the problem, but the api is still trying to sort through past calls? Please forgive me for not using my local test environment correctly. Edit: I do not know the process name, I need to discover the name (or pid) based on behavior.

    I'm trying to set an environment variable to point to the directory into which I have extracted the latest version of OpenCV, following the instructions in OpenCV's Installation in Windows tutorial. Here's my elevated command line listing. C:\>cd C:\OpenCV2.4.6\build\x64\vc11 C:\OpenCV2.4.6\build\x64\vc11>cd ../../../.. C:\>setx -m OPENCV_DIR C:\OpenCV2.4.6\build\x64\vc11 SUCCESS: Specified value was saved. C:\>cd %OPENCV_DIR% The system cannot find the path specified. C:\>echo %OPENCV_DIR% %OPENCV_DIR% Firstly I change directory to C:\OpenCV2.4.6\build\x64\vc11 to ensure that it exists. After that is successful I change directory back to the root of the C drive. Then I use setx to make OPENCV_DIR a system wide environment variable with value the C:\OpenCV2.4.6\build\x64\vc11 path I verified in step 1. Noting the success of setx in the previous step I now change directory using the new environment variable. But it fails with the message The system cannot find the path specified. If I try to echo the value of the OPENCV_DIR environment variable it appears not to be set. Looking in the control panel the OPENCV_DIR environment variable looks correctly set: What's wrong? Why is the variable not working? Am I evoking it incorrectly when I use it to change directory or echo its value?

In SQL Server I would use UPDATE FROM and join every Vehicle with newest Allocation. Oracle doesn't have UPDATE FROM. How do you do it in Oracle?
