  I have enableSecurityTrimming=true and a custom SiteMapProvider inherited from built-in XmlSiteMapProvider and IsAccessibleForUser returns false for requested pag00e but it anyway opens. In the same time, breadcrumbs targeted the same sitemap doesn't create a menu. How to implemwnt peoper reaction?

• Copy a file from source directory to target base directory and maintain source path

  Forgive me, I am probably not using the right terms to describe the problem and misunderstanding the most basic usage for a couple of common commands. I have a simple find statement that is locating files that I want to copy. I want to tack on the -exec cp {} and have cp copy the file from the source directory to a new base directory, but include the full path. For example: "find . -name *.txt" locates /user/username/projects/source.txt "cp {} [now what?]" copies the file to /user/newuser/projects/source.txt

  I am trying to use the following code, but I always get an error that I can find little information about: - (id)initWithNibName:@"MyRidesListView" bundle:nil { if ((self = [super initWithNibName:@"MyRidesListView" bundle:nil])) { // Custom initialization } return self; } Error: expected identifier before 'OBJC_STRING' token This seems like a simple method to be calling. This is for a UINavigationController. Ideas?

• Nginx + PHP-FPM, php scripts not running

  I installed a LEMP stack on Linode using one of the stack scripts they offer. I actually didn't run it on boot but instead entered the commands manually since it seemed to not install everything correctly. Anyway, after installing everything and starting both the server and php-fpm without error, I created a phpinfo(); page on the default nginx location (/var/www/index.php). Problem is that it's not executing the script and instead displays as a static file. Anyone know how I could approach this?

  Hi all, On my iphone app, I have a UITableView in edit mode, containing custom UITableViewCell. I would like to detect when user has clicked on the left button of each cell (minus circular red button, the one that is animated with a rotation), just before the "Delete" button appears. I would like to be able to change my cell content in that case... Is that possible ? Thanks !

  Well I'm a PHP developer who know few linux commands to get my job done. I need to launch a symfony 1.4 website on Amazon EC2. Everything is fine except IMagick. I magick is also installed through following command: sudo yum install ImageMagick Its php lib is not installed/configured, if that do not happen with above command. In PHP, I'm using IMagick, but script is failing on IMagick. I know problem is with PHP IMagic extention but dont know how to fix that. On dev box, its as simple as turning it on on WAMP. Can someone please suggest where should I look to confirm if IMagick PHP extention installed and configured correctly?

• Scripted printer configuration changes

  I've got about a dozen Windows XP machines that I need to make a couple specific printer configuration changes to. The printer is "virtual" printer for an electronic delivery service. I'd like to not have to visit each machine individually. I already have the means to execute commands remotely on the machines, I just can't seem to find away to adjust these settings via command line or script. Specifically I need to be able to make the following changes: 1) As an admin user: - Device Settings - Font Substitution Table/Courier New - Change to "Courier" 2) As a specific* user: - Printer Preferences - Paper/Quality - Advanced - Change Graphic/Print Quality to "600 x 600" - Change Document Options/Printer Features/Graphics Mode to "HP-GL/2" *This change is a per user configuration, unless there's some way to make it once. In this situation I only really need it for a specific (different) user on each machine.

  After my logic board was replaced, I connected my laptop back to my network, and Time Machine gave me a popup, as shown on this thread: http://superuser.com/questions/78068/recycle-time-machine-for-new-machine/78264#78264 I misread the question and clicked on "Create New Backup" when I should have clicked on "Reuse Backup" to connect to my old backup file. How can I trigger that popup again? Turning Time Machine on and off does not work, and the instructions on forums to fix via terminal doesn't work because snow leopard is missing the fsaclctl command (and I'm also not familiar with terminal commands.) Thanks.

  I would like to create an SQL Developer connection to a database through a couple of tunnels. The steps right now are: Connect to server A - connect to server B - run sqlplus against tnsname on a server that I do not have ssh access to. Is there an easy way of using SQL Developer instead of sqlplus? I have read through 20 articles on the subject and still have no idea how to actually make the connection. I understand that you can chain ssh -L commands to get the server connection, but I don't know how to use that connection in SQL Developer.

  My server performance is poor. At times SSH, top, and other features or commands are very slow to respond, taking several seconds or more. A query that normally takes 5 minutes can sometimes take 30 minutes. The database is mostly being used to do a spatial query (grid and summarize) on approximately 500GB of stored data spread between 4 tables. Restarting the server works as a temporary fix, but cannot be used as a long term solution. Any suggestions for how to diagnose and solve my performance issues? I tried some solutions like putting Mage::setIsDeveloperMode(true); in index.php but it is not working properly, I even tried to set ini_set('display_errors', 0); but it is still not working.   I wanted to run a script on a remote machine. The simple solution is this: ssh remote1 some-script This works until the remote script doesn't want to connect to another remote machine (remote2) which requires interactive authentication, like tis one (remote2 is only reachable through remote1 in this case): ssh remote1 "ssh remote2 some-script" The solution for the problem is to use the -t option for ssh. ssh -t remote1 "ssh remote2 some-script" This works, but I get probems in case I use this (where some-script may execute further ssh commands): ssh -t remote1 some-script I found that some environment variables are not set which are set when I don't use the -t option. These envrionment variables are set in scripts from /etc/profile.d. I guess that these scripts are not run for some reason if using the -t option, but are run if I don't use it. What's the reason of this? Is there any way to work around it? I am using SUSE linux (version 10).
