• Monotouch.dialog and story board apps?

  I'm trying to use mt.d; I've "drawn" an app using the storyboard feature of Xcode. My app consists of a tabbar which displays one of three viewcontrollers. Two out of three are simple viewcontrollers (single screens) and one is a splitviewcontroller. The splitview is tricky; using the stock xcode components I've drawn a master / table and a detail view. The table works as expected, but now I want to use mt.d to fill the detailview (later I need it to depend on the selection of the master, but not for now). I've subclassed the splitviewcontroller; in the viewdidload event I've created a mt.d dialogviewcontroller. Now I'm trying to push the dialogviewcontroller to the detailview, using the splitviewcontroller.viewcontrollers array. Doesn't seem to work; when running the app it still some an empty screen for the detail view (as drawn in xcode). Any clues for doing what I want? Thanx!

• Regular expression either/or not matching everything

  I'm trying to parse an HTTP GET request to determine if the url contains any of a number of file types. If it does, I want to capture the entire request. There is something I don't understand about ORing. The following regular expression only captures part of it, and only if .flv is the first int the list of ORd values. (I've obscured the urls with spaces because Stackoverflow limits hyperlinks) regex: GET.?(.flv)|(.mp4)|(.avi).? test text: GET http: // foo.server.com/download/0/37/3000016511/.flv?mt=video/xy match output: GET http: // foo.server.com/download/0/37/3000016511/.flv I don't understand why the .*? at the end of the regex isnt callowing it to capture the entire text. If I get rid of the ORing of file types, then it works.   My Html action link takes me to a view where i can see the details.. I am working on getting networking working correctly on a cluster of 14 virtual servers at a customer site. 11 of them work fine for routing and 3 don't work correctly for their administrative network (172.28.56.0). All are running Windows Web Server 2008R2. Default gateway is set on the production network (172.28.58.0) and not on the administrative network (handled with persistent static routes). • How do i make Mozilla Thunderbird opening attachments in appropriate application?

  Hello, I'm using Kubuntu9.10 and Mozilla Thunderbird as email program. If email has an attachment, MT rarely finds required application to open it in. If i save an attachment and then open it from Dolphin, it works fine. But if i try opening it right from download dialog, MT can't determine appropriate application correctly. I'd prefer it to use xdg-open or kde-open programs for finding required application. Is there a way to make Thunderbird a bit smarter? thank you.

  I am trying to compile and install the a52 plugin following the instructions from here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DigitalAC-3Pulseaudio This worked on Ubuntu 11.10 but gives me some errors when I try to compile the plugin on Ubuntu 12.04. • OWA, Outlook Anywhere, RPCPing Inconsistencies

  I'm troubleshooting an Outlook Anywhere issue with a new Exchange 2010 server. The server in question, MS2010, is behind a SonicWALL NSA 2400 device and works wonderfully except for Outlook Anywhere. Outlook Anywhere works internally and I've verified (through Ctrl-Right Click --> Connection Status) that I'm able to connect to MS2010 over HTTPS. When trying to connect to the server using HTTPS from outside the firewall, I'm unable to do so. A Wireshark trace shows 30 or so successful HTTPS packet transmissions, and then it fails with 3 straight transmissions to a destination port of 135. I have no idea why my computer is attempting to access anything on port 135 since I've setup my profile to use HTTPS on both slow and fast connections. I'm 99% certain that the firewall is configured correctly. I run Outlook Web Access (also HTTPS) on the same server and there are no issues with access. EDIT: My Autodiscover settings are correct (as far as I can tell). My server passes the Outlook Anywhere and Autodiscover tests at https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/.   Trying to debug some linker errors, I turned on /VERBOSE and I'm trying to make sense of the output. It occurs to me that I really don't know how to read it. Why is it loading this particular symbol while processing libgslcblasMD.lib which is a 3rd party library? Or am I reading it wrong? It seems that the linker is going through the symbols referenced in the project's various object files, but I have no idea in what order. It then searches the static libraries the project uses - by project reference, explicit import and automatic default library imports; but it does so in an order that, again, seems arbitrary to me. And what's the deal with all those libraries being processed at the beginning of the linker's work, but not finding any symbols to load from them? Does this project really not use anything from msvcrt.lib, kernel32.lib? Seems unlikely. So basically I'm looking to decipher the underlying order in the linker's operation.

I need the datagrid to parse the input and place the data in the correct rows and columns of the datagrid. flow: click on a date in the tree and it makes a server request for batch information in xml form. Using a CallResponder I then update the datagrid's dataProvider. • Vibrations when exploding/repacking movie

  Please bear with me, I know that what I'm doing can sound strange, but I can guarantee there's a very good reason for that. I took a movie with my camera, as avi. I imported the movie into iMovie and then exploded the single frames as PNG. Then I repacked these frames into mov using the following code movie, error = QTMovie.alloc().initToWritableFile_error_(out_path, None) mt = QTMakeTime(v, scale) attrib = {QTAddImageCodecType: "jpeg"} for path in png_paths: image = NSImage.alloc().initWithContentsOfFile_(path) movie.addImage_forDuration_withAttributes_(image, mt, attrib) movie.updateMovieFile() The resulting mov works, but it looks like the frames are "nervous" and shaky when compared to the original avi, which appears smoother. The size of the two files is approximately the same, and both the export and repacking occurred at 30 fps. The pics also appear to be aligned, so it's not due to accidental shift of the frames. My question is: by knowing the file formats and the process I performed, what is the probable cause of such result ? How can I fix it ?

  I've compiled Boost and am using it in a Visual C++ project. At some point, I started getting the following error: 1>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_filesystem-vc100-mt-sgd-1_45.lib' AFAIK I have the linker configuration set correctly. I've searched for the lib and the closest I found was: libboost_filesystem-vc100-mt-gd-1_45.lib (Notice the missing 's') What does the missing 's' represent? What do these similar yet different libs stand for? How come I'm missing it although I've compiled all of Boost?

  I'm just converting a video player sample to MT and came to this part: self.view.layer.sublayerTransform = CATransform3DMakePerspective(1000); In Monotouch, I've started with: this.View.Layer.SublayerTransform(CATransform3D.... But no perspective option is available. There is a 'scale' and 'rotate' one - does this mean this functionality is unavailable in MT? Or that I need to start creating my own bindings even though this one has been processed by the binding creation tool Xamarin uses?
