  • PowerPoint record slide show function accessible through Interop with C#

    I am currently trying to write an addin for PowerPoint that whenever any PowerPoint document is opened and then run in show mode that the feature to record narration audio and slide timings is automatically activated. However I cannot seem to find that option in the PowerPoint interop object The manual in application way to use this feature in Powerpoint 2007 is under the "Slide Show" tab of the ribbon called "Record Narration". I have found under that I can set under Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint.SlideShowSettings.AdvancedSettings to RehearseNewTimings but this does not record narration audio. Does anyone know if this is even possible? Or if I am completely on the wrong track here. Thanks in advance for any repsonse

    Any ideas as to how Apple implemented the "slide to unlock" (also, "slide to power off" is another identical example) animation? I thought about some sort of animating mask - but masking is not available on the iPhone OS for performance reasons. Is there some private API effect (like SuckEffect) that they might have used? A spotlight type of effect? Some Core Animation thing? Edit: It's definitely not a series of stills. I've seen examples of being edit a plist value or something and customize the string on jailbroken iphones.

    I am building my very first Flash Slide Presentation. However, I would like to enable full screen when the presentation starts. I placed: fscommand("fullscreen", "true"); In the first layer, first frame, of the first slide. And I use a .html file to launch to embed the .swf file. However, when I open the .html, a popup appears saying: “Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.” What am I doing wrong?

    Hi, I am currently learning jQuery. I'd like to know how to make an image slide in when you click on its edge, then click again and it slides away. Similar to this: http://www.karenmillen.com/ If you see the right hand side and click, there is the effect that i'm looking for. I assume this will involve making a div and giving it a background image then using some jquery to make the div slide into view. Of course the div could have other content such as html. Any ideas? Would the .slideDown() method work?

    I am creating a e-learning application , where the students (wireless) connect to the teachers machine, the teacher hosts a tomcat server. the teacher has a set of HTML web-pages(each of which can be thought of as a slide). and the students can view a web slide-show on his/her browser... the problem is.... i want the pages on the students browser to be redirected according to the teachers input.. in short: i want the server to automatically redirect all the client browsers to the next page when the teacher wants it to be so... how do i do it?? [i am using JSP/javascript/Java/Tomcat/Eclipse]

  • JQuery: How to perform a "push" slide, not a slide up?

    I using the following JQuery: $("#pushSlideDiv").slideDown("fast"); However, this creates a "slide" effect. Meaning, if I do a slidedown, this makes the underlining DIV reveal it's self from a top-to-bottom reveal. I want a "push" effect, where the slidedown instead reveals as though the div is being pushed onto the page ... where you first see the bottom of the div. How can I do this with JQuery? UPDATE: This isn't a great example, but it does show a push effect that I'm trying to accomplish vs a "slide" effect.

  • Jquery animate negative top and back to 0 - starts messing up after 3rd click

    The site in question is this one: http://www.pickmixmagazine.com/wordpress/ When you click on one of the posts (any of the boxes) an iframe will slide down from the top with the content in it. Once the "Home" button in the top left hand corner of the iframe is clicked, the iframe slides back up. This works perfectly the first 2 times, on the 3rd click on of a post, the content will slide down, but when the home button is clicked, the content slides back up normally but once it has slid all the way up to the position it should be in, the iframe drops straight back down to where it was before the home button was clicked, I click it again and then it works.   • question about combining jquery tabs and a toggling horizontal slide panel

    Hi, I'm attempting to combine a horizontally sliding panel and the ui tabs plugin. The idea is that you press a button, a panel slides open and inside is a series of tabs that expand content below. In terms of getting this to function in the most basic sense, so far so good: http://www.claylerner.com/bio_alt/ And my source looks like this: $(document).ready(function(){ $(".btn-slide").click(function(){ $("#panel").animate({width: 'toggle'}); }); }); $(function() { $("#tabs").tabs({ selected: -1 }); }); However, the problem I'm running into occurs when you have a tab exapnded and then you collapse the horizontal panel--as you can see the animation that hides the currently expanded tab looks pretty clunky. I get that this is happening because there's not a separate function hiding the expanded tab. So my question is, how can I make it so that when the button to collapse the panel (".btn-slide") is toggled it first hides any currently expanded tabs and then hides the open panel. Thanks so much!

  • JQuyer slide and stop issues: animated element freezes with quick mouse movement

    Here is Zi JsFiddle. In order to replicate my issue you have to hover over the link that says 'javascript', then mouseout that, then mouseback in. If you do this before the animation is complete, the pink slidedown #subMenu will freeze midway through sliding. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I have tried some .stop()s , but i really don't want the animation to re-start every time you mouseenter or leave the .navLink . The animation should begin from where it left off. In other words, if the pink section is halfway down, and a slideDown() gets executed, the pink should not dissappear and then slide down, it should slide down from where it is. Thanks!!     Hi All, I have a login button at the footer of my main page or landing page.Currently when user click on the button a login form will get open from TOP to BOTTOM i.e. from the start of form to the "LOGIN" button.What i want is that when i click on the login button it should open the form using slide effect but from the BUTTON to the TOP.I don't want to include library like jQuery as there are some conflict issue with it.   • Implementing rounded corners on slide down navigation menu

    I am working on the slide down menu you can see here. I have rounded corners on both ul#navigation and ul.subnavigation. When the submenu slides down it is possible to see the border at the bottom of ul.subnavigation overlap with the content of ul#navigation, when I would like it to slide down smoothly, without the 'flicker'. I am aware that this issue is caused by the rounded corners. I need ul.subnavigation to cover the rounded corners at the bottom of ul#navigation when the menu drops down, without seeing the double border-bottom issue. I hope this is clear! Code is below.
