  I have a Web Project (VS 2008) that references a bunch of DLLs. The DLLs are built separately, so the project references binaries and not DLL projects. Some of the DLLs have their own app.config, which I want to be copied autmatically to the web project's output directory. Is there any suitable generic way to achieve this?

  I am trying to package a com dll in an msi. I want the setup to run a batch file afterwards. The batch file basically points to the WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 folder and runs the regasm command to register the assembly. How do I get the setup to do this? Thanks.

• After installing .net 3.5 SP1, get missing DLL error

  I just installed a number of updates to my machine, and am now encountering the following error when I run an asp.net MVC application on my local machine: Compiler Error Message: CS0006: Metadata file 'C:\WINNT\assembly\GAC_32\System.EnterpriseServices\2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.EnterpriseServices.dll' could not be found I have removed the reference to this from the project (not really sure why it was there in the first place) but still get the error. Any idea on how to resolve this?

  I'm giving a try at OpenCL, and in order to put this in production I'd like to be able to bind dynamically to OpenCL.DLL (when under Windows), in order to handle 'gracefully' the case where no OpenCL is installed on the host computer.   Hello, I've installed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) and got the following folders: x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.21022.8_none_bcb86ed6ac711f91 x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4926_none_508ed732bcbc0e5a I allready uninstalled the redistribute package but they continue overthere. I want to remove them because I want to test my program without installing nothing (I've included those dll's when building it in another computer). So, how can I remove those folders from C:\Windows\winsxs? Thanks in advance :D

  In a project using .Net4 - should there be any issues referencing dlls built for older versions of .Net? We're talking 3rd Party dlls here. I'm asking this as a general question.
