• I want Lotus Domino to only send one email to users that are both recipients and members of a cc'ed lotus group.

  Lotus Domino 7 and now Lotus Domino 8.5 The scenario: A@mycompany writes an email to b@internet and cc's it to group@mycompany. A@mycompany is a member of group@mycompany. With the initial email Domino is intelligent enough to not send the email which a@mycompany just wrote to a@mycompany again. But when b@internet answers to all (a@mycompany + group@mycompany) then a@mycompany gets this email twice, because he is not only the author but also a member of group@mycompany. During the smtp session the email is sent once with the recipients set to a@mycompany and group@mycompany and a single esmtp id. So Domino should well be able to see that the mail should only be sent to a@mycompany once. Can I make Lotus Domino behave in this sane fashion?

• automatic reply rule within Outlook

  My plan is to add a automatic reply to all incoming emails for a exchange mailbox. I created a rule that would check all incoming and created the template reply. Created it so it would match a server rule so outlook would not have to be open. If I send an email from my work account on the same exchange server, it works and sends the reply I created. With outlook open or closed. However, when I send email from outside the company, (my personal email), it does not get a reply. What the heck is going on there? I think the issue is within the selection of who the email is too. I have tried "only to me" "where my name is in TO or CC" as well as "sent to people or distribution list". So any ideas of why this isn't working. I thought this question was a super user question as appose to server fault. Thank you,

  Recently, in Massachusetts a law was passed (rather silently) that data containing personally identifiable information, must be encrypted. PII is defined by the state, as containing the residents first and last name, in combination with either, A. SSN B. drivers license or ID card # C. Debit or CC # Due to the nature of the software we make, all of our clients use SQL as the backend. Typically servers will be running SQl2005 Standard or above, sometimes SQL 2008. Almost all client machines use SQL2005 Express. We use replication between client and server. Unfortunately, to get TDE you need to have SQL Enterprise on each machine, which is absolutely not an option. I'm looking for recommendations of products that will encrypt a DB. Right now, I'm not interested in whole disk encryption at all.

• firefox, opera 'The connection was reset' on few POST method calls on Windows and Ubuntu

  my website works well with GET method, also few POST methods. Some pages with POST method doesn't work. Some pages with POST work. For example, login page uses POST that works fine. When I post the data on webpage, firefox says "Connecting..." and finally report connection timed out error. The same behavior happens with Opera as well. However Google Chrome works fine. At the server side, I use nginx 1.2.4 with HTTPS and uwsgi for python (flask framework) app. I use geotrust certificate. The same behavior happens with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 on firefox. I tried firefox in safemode, but no luck. Set auto-detect proxy settings. no luck. Cleared all cookies. no luck Anyone help me to fix this issue? I am posting ngix config. shame on me. • Is there anything like mail goggles for outlook?

  Gmail has a cool feature that requires user interaction to send an email at certain hours of the day called mail goggles. Is there anything remotely like this for outlook? More specifically, what I'd like is some dialog that has a personal reminder (to make sure certain steps have been taken, like seeing who needs cc'd) and some sort of forced user interaction, like a checkbox. The tool would prevent you from sending he email until you had completed the interaction. If not, would it be possible to make something like this in VBA or as an addin? I realize this sounds like a really annoying feature, but I have a friend who is having a lot of trouble building certain email habits and this would be a sure-fire way to help.

  I have two transport rules on my exchange server. However these transport rules do not work, internet mail is still sent and received without issue. I have read various tutorials / articles of how to do this on sites such as msexchangeblog and even microsoft technet, however even after following the guides I am still unable to have this function properly. Any help is appreciated.

• Is it possible to install and use a printer in Azure Worker Roles?

  I'd like to know if it's possible to create and use a printer in Azure Worker Roles. I do know that I can install printers with basic batch commands. So I could define a batch script that would run as a startup task. something like: rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "printer" /f %windir%\inf\ntprint.inf /r "file:" /m "printername") Question: Can I use a printer to print to file, maybe to local storage? I do need the function to print to file or atleast to have a printer installed, because I have to get the PCL output from different installed printers. Sadly I can not test it by myself. I do not have a CC to join the 90 days trial.

  Recently I had installed the Ubuntu flavour of the Linux operating system. I had opened a terminal and just wrote a sample C program to check if it is compiling. When I saved the sample file and compiled with cc a.c, errors comes that the standard library is not loaded (i.e stdio.h). When I went to help pages, it says that the C or C++ compiler doesnt gets loaded by default and we should do it ourselves. So can anyone help me out to fix this problem, i.e to load the C/C++ compiler.

  On my personal website, I have some technical ideas and some source code snippets that I share with everybody. To make it clean that everyone can use those snippets as they like, as long as I do not have to provide any warranty, I would like to add a license to the some of the texts. The bigger programs come with GPLv2+, which I think is a reasonable license for free code. Does it make sense to use the MIT License or the GNU Free Documentation License for these texts or should I just go with CC-BY? I am a German citizen, so I heard that the American licenses do not really apply to me at all. If so, that would be another advantage for the Creative Commons Family of License.

• How to detect an iPhone connecting a network?

  I've noticed through watching Wireshark that when an iPhone connects to a wifi network, it sends out a few IGMP/MDNS packets to 224.0.0.251 (LAN broadcast, I think). Is there any easy way to watch for these packets and then either run a script or send an event? Or, is the best way to just run a packet sniffer? Any simple ones that can send events or execute curl commands when a filter is triggered? • HP C4400 is paper out

  I have a HP C4400 printer and it claims to be out of paper (which is not true) and don't even try to pull the paper. • How feasible is it to setup a FreeNAS to be more like a full install of FreeBSD

  So I've been playing with FreeNAS over the last week, finally trying to get my act together and store my important files properly. I'm finding myself wanting to install and compile additional packages. pkg_add has been great for some things, but it appears that my install is rather crippled. make is missing. I installed gmake and linked make to that. math.h is missing as is sys/cdefs.h I thought these are part of any core unix/linux system? cc is missing though I've installed gcc45. I'm used to having just gcc. Sure I can create a link, but I'm not sure this is the proper thing to do. perl installed fine, but I can't add stuff with cpan. This is how I discovered 1,2, and 3. So my question is this: do I just need to bite the bullet and install a full FreeBSD? The web interface to FreeNAS is kinda nice

• Get CruiseControl to talk to github with the correct public key.

  Hi All, Has anybody installed git and ControlControl and got CruiseControl to pull from GitHub on a window 2003 server. I keep getting public key errors (access denied) - Which is good i suppose as that confirms git is talking to github. However what is not good is that I dont not know where to install the rsa keys so they will be picked up by the running process (git in the context of cc.net). Any help would save me a lot of hair! I have tried installing the keys into; c:\Program Files\Git.ssh Whereby running git bash and cd ~ take me to: c:\Program Files\Git Thanks in advance

• OSX Dirve dropped out of RAID 5 Array?

  I had a drive "Fail" and drop out of our raid 5 array... After reboot the drive came back up, but its "Roaming". How do I re-integrate it back into the RAID 5? Right now I have no redundancy with only 2 disks in the array. The migrate RAID Set feature of RAID Utility seems to want to crate a RAID 0 only? • Parsing a Directory of files - Check for a String

  This is my first post here so kindly pardon any mistakes that I have. I'm still learning to find my way around Stack Exchange. I am trying to write a Java program that tries to scan a Directory full of either .txt,.rtf or.doc files(and none other). The aim is to search all the files in the directory, and find out if a particular string exists in the file. If it does, it returns the string and the filename that it found the string in. The aim of this program is, it is a project for school wherein the program scans the personal folders of call center employees to check if they have stored any CC/DC nos and if yes, report the folder name - to reduce CC fraud. The search function was fairly straight forward and works when I individually specify the filename. However, the searching the directory and passing the files to the search function has me stumped.   I am trying to write a program that takes lines from an input file, sorts the lines into 'signatures' for the purpose of combining all words that are anagrams of each other. I have to use a map, storing the 'signatures' as the keys and storing all words that match those signatures into a vector of strings. Afterwards I must print all words that are anagrams of each other on the same line.
