Warning: Just make sure that the IsChecked property is set in last in your control !! If you don’t use style you can alternatively use Content and CheckedContent. • Thunderbird: change selected email highlight color (when no focus)

  Is it possible to change, in the message list of Thunderbird 3.0, the highlight color of the selected message when the list does not have the focus? The highlight color for the selected row is blue when the list has the focus, this is very clear. But when the list does not have the focus (e.g. after when you click in the message preview area), the highlight color is dark grey. However, this dark grey doesn't really stand out against the alternating row highlighting in the list (at least not on my laptop's LCD screen), making it difficult for me to quickly locate the message I've selected. So, any way to change this dark grey highlighting?

• TeamViewer: How to disable color dithering for low-bit-depth screen settings

  I am using Terminal Services and TeamViewer a lot to access other computers, partly over slow networks. The problem described below is not affected by which of the two remote access services I am using. When accessing Windows 7 Professional machines, a great deal of text is hard to read as the background is dithered. Even for exactly the same colors, Windows 2003 does not seem to dither at all, but to choose the closest available color. I strongly prefer the latter, as I don't care for the exact colors, I just want to be able to read easily. I am not sure whether this is operating system-related. The programs on the remote systems do not allow me to change the color choices for the various backgrounds to anything sane. Is there a way to disable this color dithering using some target operating system setting that will do the trick for both Terminal Services and TeamViewer?

• Fast software color interpolating triangle rasterization technique

  I'm implementing a software renderer with this rasterization method, however, I was wondering if there is a possibility to improve it, or if there exists an alternative technique that is much faster. I'm specifically interested in rendering small triangles, like the ones from this 100k poly dragon: As you can see, the method I'm using is not perfect either, as it leaves small gaps from time to time (at least I think that's what's happening).   i have one windows 2008 server & windows xp clients. one HP2600n is connected to network with network cable, and installed in server and shared. also same printer is shared on xp cleints. the problem is: once cleints send print it come to the server que and stuck there untill we manually restart printer spooler service. once we restart the service all the prints in QUE prints and after that new prints again stuck in QUE till next manually restart. how can we solve this problem? • Color distortion with Intel HD4000 over HDMI output - VGA is fine

  I set up a new system with i5 3570k gigabyte z77 d3h using integrated graphics (HD4000) and I've installed the 64bit Desktop version of 12.04. Connected to my Acer Screen via HDMI, the colors are horribly distorted. I think the biggest issue is that black appears as greenish. Over VGA everything is fine. Interestingly, I once observed that connecting both, the VGA and the HDMI cable at the same time, solved the issue. Ubuntu thought 2 screens were connected, I mirrored the image, and over HDMI the colors looked fine. However, after a reboot I am now unable to reproduce this behavior. I read frequently, that Intel hardware should be supported out of the box by Ubuntu but it doesn't seem to be the case here. Should I upgrade my Kernel? If so, which version would you recommend? • Color highlights have vanished in emacs

  I'm using emacs on a remote Linux server that I access via ssh. I'm editing C files that have a non-standard suffix, so I have had to manually enter c-mode with M-x c-mode every time I open one of those files. I found this to be annoying so I started monkeying with my .emacs to make that problem go away. This made all the color highlights in c-mode go away instead. Correction: All my color highlights are gone. I've removed the .emacs file, logged out and logged back in, but now, the color highlights are gone. I miss them! They were very helpful How do I get them back?

• Terminal, vim and ssh color problem

  I'm using vim for my editor. I've problems about the colors of vim. The same colorscheme of vim gives different outputs in terminal, ssh session and screen. I learnt they've different colors(16, 88 or 256). I don't care of using 16 color or 256 color. Also the terminal emulator is not very important to me. My questions: 1- How do I use same vim colorscheme with same output on everywhere? 2- I want to write a color definition and use it every terminal(maybe with Xdefaults file). Is it possible?

• HP C4400 is paper out

  I have a HP C4400 printer and it claims to be out of paper (which is not true) and don't even try to pull the paper. • Pixus MP990 Rejecting US Ink Cartridges

  I recently acquired a Pixus MP990 Canon Printer. It is from Japan (hence the "Pixus" rather than "Pixma"). It's been working well, however I just had to change an ink cartridge today, and every time I attempt to do so I get a u140 "ink tank cannot be recognized" error. These are genuine Canon ink cartridges purchased from Canon's USA website. Is a region issue causing the rejection, and if so is there a way to change the region of the printer to the US? Is there anything else I can do? (I have made sure it's not the physical connection that is the problem - I've tried two different ink cartridges in their respective slots, and I still get the same problem.)

• Can I wake up PC/laptop on remote printing request?

  I have an old Epson printer that does not have network adapter, only a USB socket. I have also a computer with network card. I could combine them to put this printer in my local network, but then I would need to keep the computer always up and running. That's definitely not economic. Is there a way to wake up computer when printing request arrives? Something like Wake-on-LAN? Or I am forced to use additional hardware?

• Cannot print certain colours on Ubuntu with HP Laser Printer

  We have a load of machines running Ubuntu in our office, they are either on 8.04 or 9.10. We have a server which connects a HP JetDirect that connects to a HP 3550 Colour Laser printer using CUPS. The problem we are having is we cannot print red, magenta or yellow at 100%, I've got a picture of the Ubuntu test page to demonstrate my problem: This is obviously a pretty big problem as we are constantly receiving documents with these colours and cannot successfully print them off, we cannot just switch the grayscale, our business depends on being able to print colour (seems trivial but we handle lots of artwork). We're using the recommended driver HP Color LaserJet 3550 footmatic/pxljr (recommended), there is another driver in the list labelled HP Color LaserJet 3550 footmatic/hpijs. These are production printers so need to make sure any setting change won't kick is in the nuts. It would appear HPIJS is for HP Inkjets, makes sense I guess. The problem doesn't occur in Windows. RESOLVED I've managed to solve the problem, I did indeed use the HPIJS driver (apparently for inkjets) but it seems to have worked, we're going to roll with it for now to see how we get on with it.

• [WPF] selected item in listbox unreadable because of the color !

  I dynamically create a collection of stackpanels in my listbox. In this stackpanel are contained labels and checkbox horizontally aligned. The problem is when I click on a stackpanel, the selection is unreadable because the line become dark-blue whereas the letters stay black so black on blue, you see nothing... how can I dynamically change the forecolor of the selected elements in the stackpanel ? I say dynamically and not in the xml file, because all those elements are dynamically created, base on a database... thanksssss!!
