    When paginating through our Phrase table it takes very long to return the results. In the sql logs we see many sql requests which don't make sense to us: Phrase Load (7.4ms) SELECT "phrases".* FROM "phrases" WHERE "phrases"."id" IS NULL LIMIT 1 User Load (0.4ms) SELECT "users".* FROM "users" WHERE "users"."id" IS NULL LIMIT 1 These add up significantly. Is there a way to prevent querying against null ids? This is the underlying model: class Phrase < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :user belongs_to :response, :class_name => "Phrase", :foreign_key => "next_id" end

  • How do I use SPMemember.ID property to get User or Group

    I have to write a utility to enumerate and manage the owners of groups within a SharePoint site. I know I can use the Groups property of the SPWeb object to retrieve a collection of groups. And I know I can use the Owner property of the group to get back the owner. My problem is that I do not know what to do next. The SPGroup.Owner property returns a SPMember object. The member object has one property called ID that returns the unique ID (an integer) of the member. What I cannot seem to find information on is how to use that integer value to determine if the member is a User or a Group and how to get back additional details (say the name). Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Two HTML elements with same id attribute: How bad is it really?

    Just browsing the google maps source code. In their header, they have 2 divs with id="search" one contains the other, and also has jstrack="1" attribute. There is a form separating them like so: <div id="search" jstrack="1"> <form action="/maps" id="...rest isn't important"> ... <div id="search">... Since this is google, I'm assuming it's not a mistake. So how bad can it really be to violate this rule? As long as you are careful in your css and dom selection, why not reuse id's like classes? Does anyone do this on purpose, and if so, why?

    OK so I have two tables, MEDIA and BUSINESS. I want it set up so the forms to input into them are on the same page. MEDIA has a row that is biz_id that is the id of BUSINESS. So MEDIA is really a part of BUSINESS. HOW do I insert/add these into their tables without a common ID because I haven't yet made the record for business? I'm sorry I didn't really word this very much... You might need more clarification to answer properly and I'll be glad to give any more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    Hi , I am trying to configure a GPS device to my systems. The GPS device send the data packet to my IP in the following format : $$?W??¬ÿÿÿÿ™U042903.000,A,2839.6408,N,07717.0905,E,0.00,,230111,,,A*7C|1.2|203|0000÷ I am able to extract the latitude, longitude and other information but I am not able to extract the Tracker ID out of the string. According to the manual the ID is in hex format.And the format of the packet is $$\r\n I dont know what to do with it, I have tried converting this to hex..but it didnt work. Any help will be greatly appreciate. Thanks

    After configuring a single, unified Inbox within Outlook 2007 to unify multiple email accounts, I found Thunderbird 3's Smart Folder feature. It works great, providing individual inboxes for each of your email accounts and a unified inbox which provides a unified, virtual view of those other inboxes. Thunderbird is smart enough so what when I reply to an email addressed to a specific email account, the reply is "From" that email address. In order to know which inbound email was to which of my accounts, I added the "Recipient" column to the inbox Smart Folder: What's displayed in the Recipient column depends on how the sender/sender's email client addresses the email. If they send it to just "[email protected]" without specifying a friendly name, the Recipient column displays "[email protected]" and there's no ambiguity about which account the email was sent to. However, if the sender has me in their address book (likely stored with a friendly name), it will be addressed as "Howard Camp [[email protected]]" and then show in the Recipient column as "Howard Camp". The problem is that if someone emails me with a friendly name at another of my email accounts (e.g. "Howard Camp [[email protected]]", the Recipient column will also display "Howard Camp" and I can't tell which account it's to until I open the message and/or look at the details. How can I configure Thunderbird to always display my email address rather than the sender-specified friendly name in the Recipient column?

    I had recently formatted my system only to find out i have lost the cd key to my original cd. i had used the option to enter the product key later. Yes, i know its a stupid thing to do but i bought the cd in 2008 from a retail store and i lost the original packaging. the actual label on the cd is includes service pack version 2002 .@2004 microsoft corporation reserved. There are some numbers on the back side of the cd in the inner ring. i cant for the life of me figure out how what is the use of the genuine cd i have with me when i cant seem to activate it. what exactly is the advantage of having the original cd in your possession in situations like this?. i have tried the unattend.txt and it doesnt contain the correct key. and there does not exist any winnnt.sif file in the cd. where on the cd or in it can i find the product id information i stay in india . and my attempts at trying the microsoft support site keeps getting me directed to page which says they had stopped support for windows xp in 2011. lets say by some miracle i do contact microsoft. what information would i have to provide them? and would they be giving me the product key for my cd key from their database? or a new key?

    Hello, I am trying to test In App Purchases on my iPhone and running into a problem where the product IDs I request information for end up being returned to me as invalid product IDs in the "didRecieveResponse" method. I have: Created an in store product associated with this app. It's bundle ID matches everything else. It has been cleared for sale and approved by the developer. Made sure my new provisioning profile has in store app purchases enabled and it has the full app name: "com.domain.appname" Made sure this is the provisioning profile being used to sign the app to my iPhone. Made sure that "com.domain.appname" is the app ID used to build the provisioning profile. Made sure that "com.domain.appname" is used in my plist file as the bundle identifier. Everything seems to be in place, however I still get my products returned to me as invalid IDs.     HI, I have the following entities I'm trying to map: public class Product { public int ProductId { get; private set; } public string Name { get; set; } } public class SpecialProduct : Product { public ICollection<Option> Options { get; private set; } } public class Option { public int OptionId { get; private set; } } And the following mappings: public class ProductMap : ClassMap<Product> { public ProductMap() { Id( x => x.ProductId ); Map( x => x.Name ); } public class SpecialProductMap : SubclassMap<SpecialProduct> { public SpecialProductMap() { Extends<ProductMap>(); HasMany( p => p.Options ).AsSet().Cascade.SaveUpdate(); } } public class OptionMap : ClassMap<Option> { public OptionMap() { Id( x => x.OptionId ); } } The problem is that my tables end up like this: Product -------- ProductId Name SpecialProduct -------------- ProductId Option ------------ OptionId ProductId // This is wrong SpecialProductId // This is wrong There should only be the one ProductId and single reference to the SpecialProduct table, but we get "both" Ids and two references to SpecialProduct.ProductId.   • Codeigniter + TankAuth + Swfupload not able to get the logger user id

    Hello. I am using Codeigniter with the TankAuth library installed and trying to upload to index.php/reuqests/doUpload from swfupload but can't access the page as authenticated. I have read many posts around the net about similar problem and tried to set $config['sess_match_useragent'] = FALSE; but still no difference. I have ended up skipping the login check in my controller for testing purposes. But now I need to access tankAuth library from my controller to get the current logged in user ID. It is requested in my application and cannot skip it, I really need to pass the logged in user id to that doUpload model. I have setup controller like this: function doUploadFileFn() { if (!$this->tank_auth->is_logged_in()) { return; } else { $user_id = $this->tank_auth->get_user_id(); $this->load->model('requests/doUploadFile'); $this->doUploadFile->uploadData($user_id); } } Now, it does not pass the is_logged_in() check, as I learned from other posts, CI deletes the session but I have setup the config not to match the user agent but still not working. Is there any solution to this out there ? Thank you.

    Does anyone know how to specify an INCLUDE ONLY category using wp_get_archives? I would like to specify a category but then list results by month. I've tried kwebble's plugin to no avail. I've also found the following on WP forums, but it appears to only exclude categories. Perhaps it can be modified to do include? Even given that, I'm not sure how I would call it...     I am writing a script in Powershell to get the update information from each computer and correlate the information with another System which identifies updates by CVE ID. I have discovered that there is a "CVEIDs" property for an update in WSUS, which is documented in MSDN, but I have no idea how to access the property. Retrieving the CVE ID from WSUS is the key to this script, so I am hoping someone out there can help!     I'm trying to write a short Wordpress JQuery for Wordpress comments that would allow users to toggle specific comments on and off. This is my first script, and I'm having a tough time. Once overtly simplified, the comments are formatted like so: <li id="li-comment-<?php comment_ID() ?>"> <div class="gravatar"><img src="#" /></div> <div class="comment_poster">Username</div> <div class="comment_options">Option buttons</div> <div class="comment_content">Comment</div> </li> In the "comment_options" DIV is a series of buttons that control the individual comments (reply, quote, edit, close, etc.). The close button is what I'm trying to write this script for. I need it to toggle the "gravtar" and "comment_content" DIVs, but leave the rest in place so that it still displays the user ID and controls. However, I can't seem to figure out how to contain the action. This is what I have so far: $(document).ready(function() { $("div.trigger").click(function() { $("div.gravatar").slideToggle(); $("div.comment_content").slideToggle(); }); }); The problem with this is that it closes are the .gravatar and .comment_content on the page, not just the ones found in the same list item. If you're curious, this is the page I'm working on. Any idea how I could resolve this? Again, this is my firs time with JQuery, so I'm a little fuzzy on how it all works. Thanks!

    I'm working on a flash web application (Actionscript 2.0) for my honours project but am having trouble embedding youtube videos. Basically the user selects symbols which queries the youtube api with certain tags depending on the symbols chosenand a random video is then picked from the first 30 videos.
