    Response Headers status HTTP/1.1 302 Found connection close pragma no-cache cache-control no-cache location / location /NKiXN/ I don't know how it became so but i used w3 total cache plugin but at this time i have deactivated it please help me to solve it, site is coming down in search engine ranking and google bot is unable to follow it.     Some mobile devices send the following incorrect requests to our servers : GET / HTTP/1.0 Accept: User-Agent : xxx The empty Accept header causes our Ruby on Rails server to throw back a 500 error. In Apache, the following directive allows us to rewrite the header before sending it to the application RoR server in order to cope with the broken devices : RequestHeader edit Accept ^$ "*/*" early We're currently setting up nginx, but achieving the same work-around is proving difficult. We are able to set : proxy_set_header Accept */*; However, this seems to have to be done inconditionally. Whenever trying to do : if ($http_accept !~ ".") { proxy_set_header Accept */*; } It complains with the message : "proxy_set_header" directive is not allowed here So, using nginx, how can we set the HTTP Accept header to */* when it is empty before sending the request to the application server ?

    I'm trying to install the Guest Additions in VirtualBox 4.04. Host OS is Ubuntu desktop 11.04 64bit, guest OS is Ubuntu server 11.10 64bit. $ sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run After some output this line is printed: The headers for the current running kernel were not found. But the headers are installed, at least accordingly to dpkg: $ dpkg --get-selections | grep linux-headers linux-headers-3.0.0-12 install linux-headers-3.0.0-12-server install linux-headers-server install The running kernel is: $ uname -a Linux foobar 3.0.0-12-server #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 7 16:36:30 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 X86_64 GNU/Linux How do I fix things so that Guest Additions installer is able to find kernel headers? Update: added full output. The headers for the current running kernel were not found. If the module compilation fails then this could be the reason. Building the main Guest Additions module ...done. Building the shared folder support module ...fail! (Look at /var/log/vboxadd-install.log to find out what went wrong) Installing the Window System drivers ...fails! (Could not find the X.Org or XFree86 Window System). I don't care for fail #2, because that's a server and I don't need X server. But I need shared folder support.   • Completely hiding nginx server response header

    I'm having trouble hiding my server header (nginx 1.2.1). I've google'd it and it seems all I have to do is to set server_tokens off; in nginx.conf. But doing this only removed the version number, but it still shows nginx as the server. I've seen there's a module called HttpHeadersMoreModule but I don't need all those fancy options. All I want is to hide the header. How can I manually hide the header completely?

    I have a PHP Form with two different fieldsets and about 4 labels within each. The form mailer is one i found on a tutorial but I'm not sure how to set in all the variables. Should all the 'label for' names also be the name of the variable? And is it easy to format with font-size etc.. once its been sent to an email for easy reading? $course_title = $_POST['course_title']; $course_date = $_POST['course_date']; $course_code = $_POST['course_code']; $course_fee = $_POST['course_fee']; Say i have - Personal Details labels with - first_name, address, postcode, dob. Course Details labels with - course_title, course_date, course_code Would this be correct and if not would anyone be able to help me out here.

  • Macro vs. Static functions in Header

    for a lot of quick tasks where one could employ a function f(x,y), in plain C, macros are used. I would like to ask specifically about these cases, that are solvable by a function call (i.e. macros used for inlining functions, not for code expansion of arbitrary code). Typically C functions are not inlined since they might be linked to from other C files. However, static C functions are only visible from within the C file they are defined in. Therefore they can be inlined by compilers. I have heard that a lot of macros should be replaced by turning them into static functions, because this produces safer code. Are there cases where this is a not good idea? Again: Not asking about Code-Production macros with ## alike constructs that cannot at all be expressed as a function.

    Hi, i have part of Asp.NET 1.1 project. I work with remote site, which works incorrect in some cases - sometimes it write incorrect Content-Encoding header. In my code i get HttpResponse from this remote site. And if Content-Encoding header is equals, for example, "gzip", i need to set Content-Encoding header to "deflate". But there is no properties or methods in HttpResponse class to get Content-Encoding header. Content-Encoding property returns, in my case, "UTF-8". In Watch window i see _customProperties field, which contain wrong string value. How can i change header value with Asp.NET 1.1?

    I'm trying to build my first website from scratch. I mocked up the design in Photoshop, and have been trying to convert into code for a few hours. But I haven't got far. In fact, I'm stuck on the header's navigation bar. It looks right, but it doesn't work. I'm using an unordered-inline list, and trying to link different rectangles in the header. I can't click on anything in the header, though. The code for the html and css files, and a mockup of the header, are below. Any advice on why the header bar isn't working would be much appreciated.   • viewForHeaderInSection - create header that would display properly in all cases

    I have an interesting problem/question and i'm not sure if it is even doable. So I have a custom header view for regular UITableView. But it's transparent and it doesn't fill fill table width. So it displayed properly when table is scrolled and this header view is displayed above cell content (sticked to the top). But when same header is displayed between two sections down - it looks ugly, because it's transparent and it's either displayed above black rectangle or above table background. I was wondering is there way to customize header view for when it's stick to the top and when it's not. Or... may be it's possible to specify what needs to be displayed underneath header view when it's between sections. Something like sectionSeparatorView?

    Current situation: We have a VPS that hosts a website example.org. Exim is configured to work as a smarthost. All emails sent through exim are successfully relayed to another mail server (that is working on example.com). Goal: To forward mail sent to *@example.org to *@example.com, i.e. change the recipient's address from *@example.org to *@example.com. Problem: If I send email to address *@example.org, then it seems exim doesn't change the address, it still relays the message to another mail server but recipient is still *@example.org. Maybe the redirect is not applied for some reason.
