• Postpone email when domains equal

  HI. For a client i'm developing 4 different email agents for his web portal. I need to send a lot of emails to clients (couple of thousands in the future) which are stored in a database. Sending is fine, but I would like to work out a PHP script which sends emails, but also stores the previous email domain and if they equal than postpone that email for sending later to prevent spam filters. I'm going to load that script with cron and I already set_time_limit(0); Big thanks for replies with ideas ;)

  Hi all, I was using this JQuery in this download link, and included it in the head tag of a HTML web page: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js"></script> In a php web page, I got these few lines of codes: $.ajax({ url: 'http://mywebsite.com/site1/toavail/, type: "post", success: function(data) { // some more code here } }); When I tested the HTML page in IE 6, and 7, I saw the same warning message: "permission denied" When I tested it in Firefox 3, nothing was returned from the server web page. Later, I changed the JQuery source link to be: http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.2.js then I refreshed the web page, and I could saw the returned value.

• JQuery not copying state dropdown list 1 to DDL2 on checkbox change

  I've looked at similar posts on the subject but none of the recommended solutions have worked for me so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I have a billing and shipping address form with a dropdown list for the state. Upon checking/unchecking the "billing address same as shipping" everything copies over except the state dropdown list. The state dropdown list is populated from a SQLDataSource state table. • CSS file not getting downloaded in Visual Studio 2008 SP?

  Hi guys, This might sound a little wierd, but all of a sudden the CSS and Javascript files referenced in my master page are not being downloaded while the page is being rendered. I am working on a ASP.NET MVC project and things were all fine like half an hour ago! Here is what I have in head section of the master page, <link href="/Content/MyCSS.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.3.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I can see the CSS class intellisense while designing pages. But in the page source I do not see these files being added. I can see the css being applied in the VS designer. I have tried restarting VS, restarting my machine too. Anyone else faced this situation before. I might go crazy now.

This script works fine when I run it from command line but if it is invoked from cron it always fails to link the object files. My application has dependency on openssl.   I know the built-in ASP.Net validators come with a client-side framework, however I've been unable to find anything that lets me check a single validator for it's Valid state. I expect it to be possible though, so I hope someone in here knows how to do it :-) The validator in question is a RegularExpressionValidator, which I use to determine whether an e-mail address is valid or not. I see both of the "DEBUG_VERBOS" and "DEBUG_SUPPRESS_ERROR_MSGS" apply to the script, which is fine in this case. However, if there are some "conflicting" debug modes, I am not sure how to set the "precedence of debug_modes"? Also, I am not certain if my approach is good enough to Perlists and I hope I am getting my feet in the right direction. One biggest problem is that I now put if statements inside most of my subroutines for controlling their behavior under different modes. Is this okay? Is there a more elegant way? I know there must be a debug module from CPAN or elsewhere, but I want a real minimal solution that doesn't depend on any other module than the "default". And I cannot have any control on the environment where this script will be executed...

• Clearcase and java process : changing view does not apply

  i have a simple application, which receives input from a user for a CC stream name, and is suppose to return the content of a specific file from this stream repository. I have tried doing this using a simple shell script: user enters stream name, java receives stream name, runs a process which runs a script "myccscript.sh" which contains "myinput=$1; cleartool setview $myinput" (or something like that). then i try reading the file and printing it's content in the java side. BUT, after the process is finished - the view is not the view from the user input - that environment was probably only valid for the process Ive created. how do i change the clearcase view to the main java process? • Visual Studio 2010 deploys views too late in deploy process

  I have a database project in my VS2010 solution. I recently changed a view and and changed a number of functions to use this view instead of going directly against a table. But now when I deploy I get errors on most of these functions because the column asked for does not exists in the view yet. The update of the view happends later than the update of UDF's. Is there any way to change this behaviour? Wouldn't the best thing be if the deploy script updated in this order: tables, views, SP and UDF. It seems like tables is updated first, but the views are just thrown in somewhere in the middle of the deploy script.

Say I have a link on my site, I want the user to be able to mouse over the link, and have an image pop up that shows what the target of the link looks like. Currently I am doing it by showing up an iframe that actually renders the page, but this is not scalable and looks ugly.
