• Does CAS Support Application Level Impersonation?

  I have a PHP application that is successfully authenticating against a CAS server. One of the features supported by the application is impersonation; a user with the appropriate privileges can impersonate another of the application. Generally, this isn't a problem because the app itself can keep track of who the user is impersonating and manage privileges (which are based on username). A new requirement has come up, though, that requires the original app to include, via an iframe, content from a second PHP app that is also CAS-enabled. Somehow, I need for the second app to know whether impersonation is happening in the first. I don't want to pass usernames around for security reasons, so I'm wondering whether I can offload the responsibility for handling impersonation to the CAS server which is shared by both apps.   I already have an express checkout integrated with my Codeigniter application. Now I want to integrate seamless paypal where I collect the CC information and pass it to Paypal (via backend) and once everything is approved, my application shows that to the user. All this with out ever going to Paypal's website. I know that Paypal gives a bunch of sample code but they have so many different products that advertise to do the same thing. Is there any wrapper library in PHP that I can use for handling all this? What sort of design decision is involved in migrating to such system? Would I need SSL certificates for this?

Using Python 2.6.4 running under Windows I can set my locale to Spanish like below: import locale locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, 'esp' ) Then I can pass %a, %A, %b, and %B to ctime() to get day and month names and abbreviations. import datetime dateValue = datetime.date( 2010, 5, 15 ) dayName = dateValue.strftime( '%A' ) dayName 's\xe1bado' How do I convert the 's\xe1bado' value to Unicode? • In App Purchase no valid Product IDs

  I'm trying to get In App Purchase with my existing iPad App working. I'm stuck retrieving the Product Information from App Store: - (void)productsRequest:(SKProductsRequest *)request didReceiveResponse:(SKProductsResponse *)response The SKProductsResponse only contains invalid Product IDs. I tried every potential solution I found here or on the net: my App ID has In App enabled I generated a new provisioning profile and installed it on my device I restarted the device my App ID is the same as in my Info.plist (it's in the Store since weeks) I added In App Purchases for the App with "cleared for sale" checked I added Screenshots to my In App Purchases I tried different naming schemes for the Product ID I made triple checked that I pass the correct Product ID to the SKProductsRequest I'm passing a NSSet to the SKProductsRequest instead of a MutableSet I updated my App with the upcoming version containing in App purchase and submitted it for Review I approved one of my In App Purchases, just to see if that helps I waited more than 24 hours All of these actions brought me nothing but invalid Product IDs. I hope someone can point me into the right direction, because I'm running out of ideas.

• LBA48 in Linux SCSI ATA Passthrough

  I am writing a custom disk monitoring/diagnostics app which, among other things, needs to do stuff to SATA disks behind a SAS PCI card under Linux. So far I am following this guide as well as the example code in sg_utils to pass ATA taskfiles through the SCSI layer. Seems to be working okay. However, in both cases, the CDB data structure (pointed to by the cmdp member of the sg_io argument to the ioctl) has only one unsigned char worth of space for the number of sectors. If you look at the ata_taskfile structure in linux\ata.h you'll see that it has an "nsect" and a "hob_nsect" field - high order bits for the sector count, to support LBA48. It turns out that in my application I need LBA48 support. So, anyone know how to set up an sg_io_hdr structure with an LBA48 sector count?

I sent Post request to the X server log and sent me a "normal" Set-Cookie with its parameters, but then somehow it will send request for Google Analytics (GA), in which the "strange" header (utma, utmac, utmcn ...). This happens when I send request in browser. But when I pass a request to login from my program (I programm in Ruby), so my server will return 302 Found, but no request to the GA sends. And I just need these headers ...

  I want to pass the "DisplayName" column value returned from SqlDataSource's Select command to a custom function and then the return value to be assigned to "DataTextField" property of DropDownList. I know, I can do this using "CustomExpressionBuilder", I have tried but if I use following: DataTextField="<%$ MyCustomExpressionBuilder:DisplayName %>" I do not receive the value of the DisplayName field in the overriden "GetCodeExpression" method, but the literal value "DisplayName". • Not getting stage.stageWidth and stageHeight on Firefox 3.5

  Here's a problem that I've been tried to figure out but still couldn't get the right method to fix it yet. I'm having issue regarding the display when using Firefox 3.5 on MAC, I can see my menu and the display is correct. The menu just position above what it supposed to be positioned. It works fine with Safari on MACOSX. My flash size is: 1440x750 It looks like Firefox can't recognize stage.StageWidth and stage.StageHeight. It returns 0. Some suggest implementing was to pass in the actual width and height of movie via FlashVars. The movie uses these instead of stage.stageWidth and stage.stageHeight Does anyone have an example of code of how to fix that issue?? Appreciated to point me out the right way

• Is there anyway to bring web @Context into JUnit (CXF+Spring)

  I am trying to create unit test environment to test RESTFul services (cfx+spring) in my dev environemnt. To test RESTFul Services, I require @Context within JUnit test cases. @Context should contain HttpRequest, HttpSession, ServletContext, ServletConfig and all other webserver related information. I have setup the JUnit for the above, but when I run, @Context is coming as null. This could be because there is no webserver running and there is no @Context. I am just doubting whether there is a way to created sample web @Context and pass to JUnit. Any other ideas are welcome to bring web @Context into JUnit test cases. Thank you, Sudheer

If I submit a form and in the action attribute of it i pass "$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']" and at the same time i am using url rewriting for the same page.. then these two things will contradict each other resulting in the display of action value of form in address bar.. so how can i manage this to get the url rewrited form of $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']? here the rewrite rule is to change the name of url file likewise as if form is submitted to any file say direction.php then rewrite will change it to something 30/redirect.html

I also use id() function to find t2.derived_val and t2.class.derived_val have different memory address. My problem is derived_val is class attribute. Why it is different in above example? Is it because the instance of class copy its own derived_val beside the class attribute?

  Hi I have implemented the Observer Pattern with lazy load. The class that requests the data from the database is a singleton class. Now I am able to load the data from one database (located in one datacenter) very easily. But I need to get the data from other data centers too and display on the same UI. I can somehow pass the address of second data center and fetch the data from there also. But once I will get the data from second data center, it will be added to earlier list only. So later it will be thought for me to distinguish between the data. So I thought of attaching a property with the result set, so that while displaying the output I can show the data for both the data centers separately but on the same UI. I thought of attached property as an option where I can attach the data center name with the list of the data obtained. How is it possible to do in C#? Thanks Manas

  I am creating a brush using CreatePatternBrush with a bitmap created with CreateBitmap. The bitmap is 1 pixel wide and 24 pixels tall, I have the RGB value for each pixel, so I create an array of rgbquads and pass that to CreateBitmap. This works fine when the screen color depth is 32bpp, since the bitmap I create is also 32bpp. When the screen color depth is not 32bpp, this fails, and I understand why it does, since I should be creating a compatible bitmap instead. It seems I should use CreateCompatibleBitmap instead, but how do I put the pixel data I have into that bitmap? I have also read about CreateDIBPatternBrushPt, CreateDIBitmap, CreateDIBSection, etc. I don´t understand what is a DIBSection, and find the subject generally confusing. I do understand that I need a bitmap with the same color depth as the screen, but how do I create it having only the 32bpp pixel data?

  Hello I am working on internal PHP application where users login only from our network (we are on dedicated IP and application is checking $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] and if is match our IP go thru if not - Bye However how I can identify from which station user is login ? Using cookie not gonna work - those are windows station working under control MS StedyState and all cookies are deleted every login I don't need nothing fancy like full MAC address just any unique ID (can not be application username - because users use different stations) Any ideas ? Maybe Javascript is able to grab some Unique detail from station's browser (IE 8) and pass this as hidden input? bensiu

  I have a page that I want to redirect to that requires parameters in the URL: http://www.mysite.com/myController/myAction/param1:val1/param2:val2 I know that there is a Cake PHP redirect function for redirecting that works as follows: $this->redirect(array("controller" => "myController", "action" => "myAction", $data_can_be_passed_here), $status, $exit); How do I add the parameters that I want as part of the url using the above function? I would think that there might be another element that I could add to array so that I can pass along "param1:val1" and "param2:val2". Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  in my asp.net mark up I have a foreach loop that iterates through a simple list. In this foreach loop I am adding a new user control and attempting to pass in the value from the loop. However, this value just wont budge and get inside that damn control! • Which async call use for DB connection and still responsive GUI?--

  Hi, My application connects to MSSQL but sometimes it takes a while and the GUI is getting frozen. I would like to do the connection on the other thread, I guess BeginInvoke would be the best way (I know about background worker but I would like to learn this). I have studied MSDN page but I did not understand what is the best way to use? They also say that you can use only callback when the thread that called the async.method does not need to know the results...I dont understand it as I believe I can set some variable in the other thread to "pass" the result well. I would just need the GUI to be not frozen while the connection is being established. Thank you for your advice.

  I have 4 serailized arrays that I want to pass to php for processing. What is the best way to combine them into a single array example: serial_1 = $('#col1').sortable('serialize'); serial_2 = $('#col2').sortable('serialize'); serial_3 = $('#col3').sortable('serialize'); serial_4 = $('#col4').sortable('serialize');` each serialized array relates to a column/section of the page (col1,col2 etc.) What I need to do/would like to do is create a single array that puts the serialized array inside another array for a single post. example: var new_array = serilaize(col_1(serial_1),col2(serial_2),col3,(serial_3),col4(serial_4)) I KNOW THAT IS NOT RIGHT as I have no idea in JQuery how to right the correct syntax. • Where can I find a proper JavaScript beautifier

  I have used http://jsbeautifier.org/ successfully using Rhino and ant, but the problem is that it is not deterministic. If you run the beautifier twice on a file the result is different from each time, e.g. each pass inserts additional array intendation on some lines. I have spent a lot of time debugging the code in beautify.js and have made some workarounds for comment handling, but the array indentation bug is annoying. Is there a correct and properly working JS code formatter anywhere that can be used as part of a source code indentation verification system? EDIT I have now tested with preserve-array-formating disabled, and it seems that it solves the problem. Too bad, since preserve-array-formating is quite useful with large array constructs.
