  • How can I access the ListViewItems of a WPF ListView?

    Within an event, I'd like to put the focus on a specific TextBox within the ListViewItem's template. The XAML looks like this: <ListView x:Name="myList" ItemsSource="{Binding SomeList}"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <!-- Focus this! --> <TextBox x:Name="myBox"/> I've tried the following in the code behind: (myList.FindName("myBox") as TextBox).Focus(); but I seem to have misunderstood the FindName() docs, because it returns null. Also the ListView.Items doesn't help, because that (of course) contains my bound business objects and no ListViewItems. Neither does myList.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(item), which also returns null.

On a event of drag and drop a node from c1 to c2, a onDndDrop event is fired and the subscribe method defined in line10-13 is invoked. I expected that newly copied node appears in the nodes (for example) at line 08. But this is not true. When dojoUnique1 is target of drag and drop, nodes at line 08 contains only dojoUnique1. I want to modify some attributes of newly copied nodes on the event of onDndDrop. Please let me know how such a thing is realized.

  • Why are .NET app.config load rules different for win2k3?

    ...and are there any other caveat for other platforms? I create an app.config for a win forms project, for example Application.exe. By default I expect that at runtime my application is going to look for a file called Application.exe.config. But there seem to be exceptions to this, for example in a Windows Server 2003 environment an app will look for Application.config. The full path of the config file being searched for is different in Windows Server 2003, why is this? Where is the definition for these cosmic app.config loading rules?

    I have a .Net application which must store all it's local data in isolated storage. I want to start using SQL CE to store this data. I can't find any documentation on how (or even if) this is possible. Is it possible to use isolated storage to store a SQL CE database? If so, what would the connection string look like (or is there some other way you would need to open the database)?

  • What type of things can cause sgen msbuild task to fail intermittantly with Access Violation?

    In our MSBuild file for our project we sgen an assembly containing classes used during xml serialization. The classes are generated via xsd.exe. We use the following SGen task configuration. <SGen ToolPath="$(SdkPath)" ShouldGenerateSerializer="true" UseProxyTypes="false" BuildAssemblyName="AssemblyName.dll" BuildAssemblyPath="Outputs" ContinueOnError="false" /> Intermittantly the following error is thrown when executing the msbuild script on our build server. Originally this error might have occurred once out of every 50 (CI) builds, recently the frequency has been increasing and it now occurs maybe 5-6 out of every 10 builds. The size of the assembly that is being Sgenned is about 410k (circa 35,000 lines of generated code), and when successfull the serialization assembly is about 1.7M in size. When it fails, the output is as follows: Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. E:\Path_ToBuild_Workspace\SolutionBuild.MSBuild(74,5): error MSB6006: "sgen.exe" exited with code -1073741819. We are using Hudson to manage our builds, so the msbuild and sgen processes are therefore spwaned by the Hudson.exe. There's not much out there on the interwebs regarding this type of error from SGen. Certainly nothing concrete.

  • IntellIJ editor doesn't appear

    I updated my IntellIJ install to the latest version (11.1.4) and now the Editor window doesn't appear. Double-clicking on the file, jump-to-source, nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't appear. If I double-click on an xml layout file the preview window works, but no Editor window. Have installed and reinstalled; went back to an earlier version and it doesn't work there either. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Update: Editor works if I create a new project. The service is built in php and is located on some remote server not under my control so i cant modify it to add meta data or something else into it.     I've been trying to find a solution for ages with no success. On our app, customers submit a form and on the next page we process it. Sometimes though the data never arrives. This seems to happen for just a few of our customers. Seems to happen with IE7 and using a proxy.   • Moq a function with 5+ parameters and access invocation arguments.

    I have a function I want to Moq. The problem is that it takes 5 parameters. The framework only contains Action<T1,T2,T3,T4> and Moq's generic CallBack() only overloads Action and the four generic versions. Is there an elegant workaround for this? This is what I want to do: public class Filter : IFilter { public int Filter(int i1, int i2, int i3, int i4, int i5){return 0;} } //Moq code: var mocker = new Mock<IFilter>(); mocker.Setup(x => x.Filter( It.IsAny<int>(), It.IsAny<int>(), It.IsAny<int>(), It.IsAny<int>(), It.IsAny<int>(), It.IsAny<int>()) .Callback ( (int i1, int i2, int i3, int i4, int i5) => i1 * 2 ); Moq doesn't allow this because there is no generic Action that takes 5+ parameters. I've resorted to making my own stub. Obviously, it would be better to use Moq with all of its verifications, etc.

    [Environment] Server Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 Client Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0 Microsoft Office 2003 Hello~ Today I received a call from one of my client and she said that she received an alert, "Ambiguous name detected: tempDDE" when attemping to open a doc from library. So I googled some and found solutions from MS and others and modified from Normal.dot to Normal1.dot. But after that, when I opened it again from library another problem happend and it is the doc contents is not loaded. When I click the link of doc, then the WIN?WORD.exe pops up but the contents of the document is not showing up (Silent). I tried some Open the doc file using Word Open Menu (Library Link) = Worked Get the url of the file and open it uing using Word Open Menu = Worked Add the url to Trusted Site = Done but not helped Any advices are welcomed.     Hi, I have upgraded my web application from 3.5 to 4.0 to get benefits of the new features of ASP.NET 4.0. When i try to get Route Data Values; Page.RouteData.Values["customerId"] with this code i couldn't reach the RouteData.Values collection the Page class doesnt contain a member called routedata. I also have the same issue with Response.RedirectPermanent... What might be the reason ? Thanks in advance

  • Is it possible for competing file access to cause deadlock in Java?

    I'm chasing a production bug that's intermittent enough to be a real bastich to diagnose properly but frequent enough to be a legitimate nuisance for our customers. While I'm waiting for it to happen again on a machine set to spam the logfile with trace output, I'm trying to come up with a theory on what it could be. Is there any way for competing file read/writes to create what amounts to a deadlock condition? For instance, let's say I have Thread A that occasionally writes to config.xml, and Thread B that occasionally reads from it. Is there a set of circumstances that would cause Thread B to prevent Thread A from proceeding? My thanks in advance to anybody who helps with this theoretical fishing expedition. Edit: To answer Pyrolistical's questions: the code isn't using Filelock, and is running on a WinXP machine.

  • Node.js vs PHP processing speed

    I've been looking into node.js recently and wanted to see a true comparison of processing speed for PHP vs Node.js. In most of the comparisons I had seen, Node trounced Apache/PHP set ups handily. However all of the tests were small 'hello worlds' that would not accurately reflect any webpage's markup. So I decided to create a basic HTML page with 10,000 hello world paragraph elements. In these tests Node with Cluster was beaten to a pulp by PHP on Nginx utilizing PHP-FPM. So I'm curious if I am misusing Node somehow or if Node is really just this bad at processing power. Note that my results were equivalent outputting "Hello world\n" with text/plain as the HTML, but I only included the HTML as it's closer to the use case I was investigating. I certainly think Node has a real niche that it could fit well, however with these test results (which I really hope I made a mistake with - as I like the idea of Node) lead me to believe that it is a horrible choice for even a modest processing load when compared to PHP (let alone JVM or various other fast solutions). As a final note, I also tried running an Apache Bench test against node with $ ab -n 20 -c 20 http://speedtest.dev/ and consistently received a total test time of greater than 0.900 seconds.

    I have a web service method in which I create a particular type of object, use it for a few seconds, and then dispose it. Because of problems arising from multiple threads creating and using instances of this class at the same time, I need to restrict the method so that only one caller at a time ever has one of these objects. To do this, I am creating a private static object: private static object _lock = new object(); ... and then inside the web service method I do this around the critical code: lock (_lock) { using (DangerousObject do = new DangerousObject()) { do.MakeABigMess(); do.CleanItUp(); } } I'm not sure this is working, though. Do I have this right? Will this code ensure that only one instance of DangerousObject is instantiated and in use at a time?

I want a way to let my Application search for MS SQL Server and save it to Application Setting and use it to connect to my DB Programmatically. When my application start, the first thing to do is checking the ConnectionString if vaild, NOT Empty and test connection to MS SQL Server Successfully so if there is a proplem I think to show a window form to let the user enter some data like username and password for MS SQL Server 2008 Is there any way to do it?
