How to replace plain URLs with links?

I am using the function below to match URLs inside a given text and replace them for HTML links. The regular expression is working great, but currently I am only replacing the first match. How I can replace all the URL? However, I want to modify it so that it pulls the number from the HTML, rather than setting it in the script. I tried the following, but it just shows "NAN." Django: How can I add weight/ordering to a many to many relationship?

I'm having Pages with TextBlocks on them. Text Blocks may appear on different pages, pages may have several text blocks on them. Every page may have these blocks in an ordering of it's own. This can be solved by using a separate through parameter. Like so: class TextBlock(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=255) text = models.TextField() class Page(models.Model): textblocks = models.ManyToManyField(TextBlock, through=OrderedTextBlock) class OrderedTextBlock(models.Model): text_block = models.ForeignKey(TextBlock) product_page = models.ForeignKey(ProductPage) weight = models.IntegerField() class Meta: ordering = ('weight',) But I'm not very enthousiastic about the violations of DRY for my app. (There's a lot of ordered ManyToMany relations). Is there a recommended way to go about this?

How to invert arrow image placed before the first cell when tableview cells are swiped beyond first

Hi all, In my application, I need to add this functionality that there should be an arrow image upside down placed before first cell and some text like "Pull down to refresh" and when user pulls the table beyond this then this arrow gets inverted and text changes to "Release to refresh" and when the user releases his finger, the data is refreshed and rows get added to that point So now this initial arrow and text moves upwards before the first cell again. Can anybody tell me wheather there's any event that does this? Or else which event I need to capture in order to add this functionality? Thanks in advance.

adding a background color to search term results

I'm trying to add a background color to a user submitted search result when a user enters a search term on a page (which is basically one big table). This is a text based search. I'm using jquery to show/hide the table rows that do not have the search term as text within the TR, but I'd ideally like to take the additional step of taking the search term (the entered value), and matching any of those text terms in the remaining (showing) rows and adding say a yellow background to the word(s). style sheet issue

When I add text to my web page using my text editor it display styles correctly inside the text editor which basically is a iframe. After this data is saved it's displayed on another page where the issue occurs. I wanted the description section on my web page to use its own style without getting overwritten by the page styles. Do i need to use a iframe to display this data? Is there a way I can prevent a block from using the page style. Please advise. Appreciate all your help.

Hide or Disable? In this example and in general...

I have the following set of controls. Scenario 1: If you select one of the first 3 radio buttons and click enter, focus will jump to the Passport Number text box. If the user selects "Other", the "Other, Please Specify" textbox is enabled and, for convenience, screen focus (the cursor is moved) to that textbox. Scenario 2: The "specify Other" text box is hidden until the user clicks on the Other Radio button. Upon doing so, the textbox is made visible and the cursor is placed in this textbox. Which scenario do you feel is a better approach? Perhaps you have another variation? Please state your reasoning. I would also appreciate it if you could make a generalized statement as to when hiding is better than disabling or vice versa, but I am also interested in this particular example. Thanks. Afetrthought: Perhaps, in the 2nd example, the "Please Specify" text would only appear after the user has selected the 'Other' radio button.

Copy + Paste Chinese From Website

I am re-branding a website that has both English & Chinese Traditional text. When I am copying + pasting the Chinese text into notepad++, the characters gets displayed as question marks. I tried changing the language settings within notepad++ to Chinese, but it now displays as squashed rectangles. I also changed my keyboard language setting in Windows 7 to Chinese but it did not work. This is what I see when I right-click in Chrome to copy the Chinese character:

Data persistance with BufferedReader and PrintWriter?

I have this simple application with a couple of classes which are all related. There's one, the main one, for which there is only one instance of. I need to save save and load that using a text stream. My instructor requirement is BufferedReader to load the stream and PrintWriter to save it. But is this even possible? To persist a data object/class with a text stream? I know how to do it with and object, using serialization. But I don't see how am I supposed to do it using text streams. Suggestions?

Tracking changes to individual fields - Silverlight

I have a page which has got several text boxes. These controls are bound to a model. I am using MVVM. Assume I have three text boxes, FirstName, LastName and Company. So in the model, I have three properties to bind. Now I need to track the changes happened to each field. If FirstName changes from original value, I need the text box to be colored with a different background color. Currently I am creating another property called FirstNameChanged and binding the background to this property. This will be updated when I change the FirstName. For 3 fields, this seems to be OK. But when I have more fields, the number of properties will be too much. Is there a better way to handle this?

I am wondering can you tell me how to convert text into number before apply this create chart function? One other thing is any idea how to apply sorting on the .xls file before create chart? Thanks. Hello everyone, I would like to know if there is a way to change the text in the [More ...] tab. With the code below I am able to change the text in the view, however the text in the tab remains the same. I was just reading this article here to understand about how view state and ASP.NET page cycle works. I just don't understand this part here: If this were the case, then in step 3 the Label's Text property would be assigned to "Hello, World!" in the instantiation stage, but would not be reassigned to "Goodbye, Everyone!" in the load view state stage. Therefore, from the end user's perspective, the Label's Text property would be "Goodbye, Everyone!" in step 2, but would seemingly be reset to its original value ("Hello, World!") in step 3, after clicking the Empty Postback button. This paragraph is after the three step 1, step 2, step 3 boxes. Why wouldn't the label's text property be reassigned to "Goodbye, Everyone" in the load view state?

I have a simple XML structure like <main> <node1></node1> </main> and this can have any number of sub-nodes or values like: <main> <node1><p>texttext text</p> more text <br/></node1> </main> I want to check if the node is empty or not: I'm doing something like: <xsl:if test="string-length(main/node1//text())>0"> But it does not work as if there are multiple tags, then string-length function will break coz of multiple arguments. Any help to solve this issue is really appreciated.

How do I set font size to 0px in IE6?

I have an unordered list, I'm trying to hide the text in the list. I can do this 2 ways that i know of: font-color: transparent; font-size: 0px; I prefer the 0px method as its not selectable. This issue is neither way works in IE6. The first way just doesn't work in IE6 at all, the 2nd leave a 1PX high font. Is there a way to hide the text in IE6? This is a visual thing, I know you can read the text by reading the source and that is OK, I just need it to visually not be there.

An example of what the macro could do: I push (whatever hotkey combo here) open notepad.exe Paste to notepad from clipboard Select all text in notepad Copy/Cut all text from notepad Close notepad I'm just wondering if someone has done something like this before, or knows how it could be accomplished. I think this could be a huge time-saver for almost anyone. I find myself doing this all the time when cutting and pasting between different office applications, etc.

I want to create some diagrams for some papers. Diagrams will contain some text, e.g. some console output. I need images for using also in html files. There is TikZ so can create images like this: http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/boxes-with-text-and-math/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/rule-based-diagram/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/scenario-tree/ but as a result I get some ps/pdf files, not images. What's more I want to generate the pictures from text files as I want to track changes in some VCS, any binary files are not suitable for that.
