• DrawString only works in top-left part of form vb.net

My problem is that it will ONLY draw the string in the upper-left portion of the form, roughly 260x260 starting at 0,0. It literally cuts off the text if it goes beyond. Why is this? Shouldn't it work for the entire form?

However, I am unable to find out how to set up routing in such a way that server ignores routing for images, css and scripts so it will be read as http://address/css/text.css instead of http://address/article/1212/some-text/css/text.css The only way I can make this work if I put tag into but I am sure it can be done other way.   I am using json with unicode text, and having a problem with the IE8 native json implementation. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <script> var stringified = JSON.stringify("?????? olé"); alert(stringified); </script> Using json2.js or FireFox native json, the alert() string is the same as in the original one. IE8 on the other hand returns Unicode values rather than the original text \u0e2a\u0e27\u0e31\u0e2a\u0e14\u0e35 ol\u00e9 . Is there an easy way to make IE behave like the others, or convert this string to how it should be ? And would you regard this as a bug in IE, I thought native json implementations were supposed to be drop-in identical replacements for json2.js ?

• Is it possible to disable the iPhone's automatic hyperlinks?

  We send out a notification email whenever we have "phishing" emails reported to us. In these emails, we include a copy-paste of the text inside the original phishing email as a sample of what is reported to us. Our code strips all hyperlinks out of the email via PHP, but still includes (in plain text) the link. When users receive this email in their client (Thunderbird, Outlook, Horde/IMP, etc), the hyperlink is removed. However, the iPhone likes to take web addresses in plain text and automatically turn them into hyperlinks. Is there any possible way to stop this action from happening via a HTML tag or by using PHP to replace certain parts of the hyperlink?

  I am working on playing with some Python to create a webapp. At first I put the HTML in a string, using %s to fill certain elements. That all worked perfectly. Now I want to put the HTML in a template, so I followed this tutorial. I did add the latest jinja2 library to my app.yaml, and naturally my rot13.html does exist with the {{ text }} added. So could anyone please help me in the right direction? I don't know why it's going wrong.

  I'm currently writing some stylesheets for mobile browsers and have come across a strange issue in the Android browser. When changing the font-size CSS attribute of a text box the box gets bigger to accomodate the larger text. Doing this on a select box however does not change the size of the select box, but the text still gets larger (actually overlapping the top and bottom of the rendered form element). Can anyone tell me if it's possible to increase the height of select boxes in the Android browser. Or if not point me in the direction of a list of CSS attributes that can be applied to them. • js function causing all other functions not to work inside js file

  In safari 4 and all explorer browsers, whenever I try to call a function inside a javascript file which contains this function below, that first function isn't called. So calling function1 will not work if function2 is inside the same .js file, explanation? Here is the code which makes the problem. Whenever I remove this function, everything works fine and all functions work fine. • Is it possible to control the whole Gnome desktop with vi-like commands?

  I know with readline you can use emacs or vi commands to edit the input of several interactive text programs. I wonder if there exists such a similar facility to control the whole desktop in Gnome or in any other desktop environment. Maybe it could be a program that intercepts keystrokes and process them in the way vi does, translating sequences of characters to desktop commands and delivering to the active window only the text that is writen in insert mode. Do you know some tool like that?

  I am trying to vertically align the text in the UILabel view of my app. The problem is that I want the text to be vertically aligned to the top and the size of the label to be 280 x 150. I am only able to achieve one of these 2 things. If I remove the line [myLabel sizeToFit]; then the alignment of the text is alright but the size is messed up. But if I add the above line, then the alignment is messed up but the size is alright. How do I fix this problem. • Data persistance with BufferedReader and PrintWriter?

  I have this simple application with a couple of classes which are all related. There's one, the main one, for which there is only one instance of. I need to save save and load that using a text stream. My instructor requirement is BufferedReader to load the stream and PrintWriter to save it. But is this even possible? To persist a data object/class with a text stream? I know how to do it with and object, using serialization. But I don't see how am I supposed to do it using text streams. Suggestions?

How can I use both types of content on the same page? I'm using ob_start() at the top and ob_end_flush() at the beginning.

  I'm trying to typeset a document I'm working on. Currently I'm trying to format a piece of text such that the text consists of two colors: a fill color and a line color. In this way the header should pop out more. I found \psset with options such as linecolor and fillcolor, but I can't get it to work. Can someone provide an example of how I could do this? Just providing a color using the color-package is no problem, but also not what I want because using this package I can only provide a single color for a piece of text.

• SSRS doesn't honor the CanGrow Property when Exporting to Excel

  I have a Table in an SSRS report. one of the Table Cells contains the Descriptions of Parts in an order. these descriptions could vary in length and for that reson i have set the "CanGrow" Property to True. when i try to export the report to Excel im expecting that if the text length would exceed the width of the Cell then the height of the cell would grow and the whole text would be shown. Unfortunately the SSRS Excel Generator keeps the height as is and so only the part of the text which fits the width of the cell would be shown. i would appreciate any help or input to solve this problem.
