• How do I get the displayname of the logged in user in EWS?

  Exchange Autodiscovery will give me the user's Display Name via the UserSettingName.UserDisplayName property. However, in cases where autodiscovery fails and connection needs to be done manually I can't figure out how to get the DisplayName. • routing problem in codeigniter

  I'm new to CodeIgniter and routing. I have a Login controller whose index() loads up a view to enter a username/password. In the view, the form has action="login/authenticate". Login-authenticate() determines if the login is valid or not. If it's valid, redirect('lobby'), if not redirect('login') routes.php: $route['default_controller'] = "login" config.php: $config['base_url'] = "http://localhost/dts/"; $config['index_page'] = "index.php"; The problem is that when i go to http://localhost/dts/ , click login, I am correctly (?) redirected to http://localhost/dts/login/authenticate but the browser says Object not found!. But when I go to http://localhost/dts/index.php/ (with trailing slash), it works correctly (I get redirected to http://localhost/dts/index.php/login/authenticate, and am logged in) I tried removing "index.php" by using a .htaccess: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|robots\.txt) RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L] and it would no longer open even the http://localhost/dts/ I'm confused.. what's going on?

  Hi I have an idea and I want to apply it to my Application (C# .NET). When we connect to a DB (MS SQL Server 2008) in VS 2008, the ConnectionString saved in the Application Setting and it's a static varriable (no one can edit it unless you edit it inside VS 2008). I want a way to let my Application search for MS SQL Server and save it to Application Setting and use it to connect to my DB Programmatically. When my application start, the first thing to do is checking the ConnectionString if vaild, NOT Empty and test connection to MS SQL Server Successfully so if there is a proplem I think to show a window form to let the user enter some data like username and password for MS SQL Server 2008 Is there any way to do it?

Now I need to access files on another server shared folder, how to do that? I easily can change file path to shared folder path but I get "can't access" error because shares are password protected. As I understand I need somehow to send credentials to remote server before executing methods below. How to do that?   I'm using NetBeans 6.8 and Tomcat 6.0.xx. I've created a custom realm and updated the NetBeans project build.xml to deploy the realm to Tomcat. When I debug the project, NetBeans starts the Tomcat server and makes an initial HTTP GET request for 'manager/list'. Tomcat graciously hands this request off to my custom realm for authentication. The request gets denied and NetBeans displays the following error in the output window: (note: error is displayed after NetBeans gets access denied) Access to Tomcat server has not been authorized. Set the correct username and password with the "manager" role in the Tomcat customizer in the Server Manager. Do I have something incorrectly configured? Then as the user surfs around the web page I just check the logged variable for true or false to determine if the user should have access. This is my first time creating something like this. My code is able to retrieve the images successfully but with a fixed size of 63KB. if the image is greater than that size, it just brings the first 63KB from the image!   Hi all, I'm trying to build a test for a view that's decorated with @login_required, since I failed to make it work, I did a simple test and still can't make it pass. However, when the while-loop gets stepped into, it won't break out of the loop when everything has been printed to the console and there is nothing else to read. For more information, contact your system administrator." When I RDP into the server and try Microsoft CRM Workflow Manager/Monitor with http or https connectivity, it doesn't work. "The specified Microsoft CRM server is not responding. This might happen if it is currently unavaliable, it is not a Microsoft CRM server, or you are not a valid user. Contact your sys-admin." This is a Microsoft CRM v3.0 / Microsoft SQL server 2005 box, Active directory is on a seperate box.. When I right click Microsoft CRM Worlkflow Service, properties, log on: it shows "crmtestuser" and a password. I did not RDP or try logging in as that crmtestuser, but I am Admin... Could this be a clue? What can I try?

Is there any way to retrieve the original message source? I would like to be able to store it so if I need to parse the message again using a different tool, I will have the necessary information.

• Fossil gpg workflow for teams

  I'm learning fossil and trying to reproduce a workflow for two people modifying the same source code tree. So, Alice and Bob both have local repositories of some source code. Both have autosync off. Alice hacks some more, does some commits signing check-ins with her gpg key. This part is fine, as Alice I've managed to generate gpg keys, fossil asked me the key password when commiting. I'm also aware of gpg-agent but don't use it yet, because I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible for now. Now, at some point Bob pulls changes from Alice's fossil repo. How would he verify Alice's signed check-ins?

• Setting up MySQL database

  I do have single database and near about 11 tables. while my web page is opening informations from these 11 tables will be accessed same time. according to my current settings what I did now is for each table database is opening and closing. say I had given username and password to open databse for each table and close after retrieving information from that table. Is this the right way to do it?? I feel because of this the database is opeing and closing 11 times!!!! Am I right?? is this the right way to do that?? Oh well I do have some tables which update date is differ from others... THanks Mathew

  I have a network devices polling and do actions kind of app; currently it keeps the configuration (which devices to poll, what kind of device, ip, login, password etc) in the database. My network administrator wants that this information is stored in some LDAP server so that he maintain single store of configuration which he himself can use in other apps/scripts etc. I am looking for some article that walks me through setting up ADAM/AD LDS for storing configuration by authoring custom schema etc and how to setup some authentication infrastructure to protect the data.

• OOP: how much program logic should be encapsulated within related objects/classes as methods?

  I have a simple program which can have an admin user or just a normal user. The program also has two classes: for UserAccount and AdminAccount. The things an admin will need to do (use cases) include Add_Account, Remove_Account, and so on. My question is, should I try to encapsulate these use-cases into the objects? Only someone who is an Admin, logged in with an AdminAccount, should be able to add and remove other accounts. I could have a class-less Sub-procedure that adds new UserAccount objects to the system and is called when an admin presses the 'Add Account' button. Alternatively, I could place that procedure as a method inside the AdminAccount object, and have the button event execute some code like 'Admin.AddUser(name, password).' I'm more inclined to go with the first option, but I'm not sure how far this OO business is supposed to go.

• How do I use NTLM authentication with Active Directory

  I am trying to implement NTLM authentication on one of our internal sites and everything is working. The one piece of the puzzle I do not have is how to take the information from NTLM and authenticate with Active Directory. There is a good description of NTLM and the encryption used for the passwords, which I used to implement this, but I am not sure of how to verify if the user's password is valid. I am using Coldfusion but a solution to this problem can be in any language (Java, Python, PHP, etc). Edit: I am using Coldfusion on Redhat Enterprise Linux. Unfortunately we cannot use IIS to manage this and instead have to write or use a 3rd party tool for this.
