  • VSS: Move file from one folder to another?

    Is there a way in Visual SourceSafe to move a file from one directory to another while retaining its history? Edit I actually found a round about way to do this. First I drag the file I want to move to the directory I want to move it to, this creates a "Link" to the file there and then I "permanently destroy" the file in its original location. Does this actually do what I thing it does?

    Hey, I am trying to reach the following result here I know how to configure the segmented control but I was wondering how to get the same icons ... I tried to do it with photoshop but I just can't manage to achieve the same quality ! I heard there is a possibility to use the "Apple symbols font" available on Mac (which contains these icons), could you show me how to get these symbols ?   • Internet Explorer plugin

    I have created the plugin which change the content (add a small picture after each link). But when I visit HTTPS-sites then IE shows popup: "To help protect your security, IE has restricted ......". I pressed allow button, my pictures were displayed. However IE shows it again. And it happens again and again. What have I done wrong? Have I registered my plugin incorrectly ?

  • Algorithm for heat map?

    I have a list of values each with latitude and longitude. I'm looking to create a translucent heatmap image to overlay on Google Maps. I know there are server side and flash based solutions already, but I want to build this in javascript using the canvas tag. However, I can't seem to find a concise description of the algorithm used to turn coordinates and values into a heatmap. Can anyone provide or link to one? Thanks.

    Has anyone gotten UIFileSharingEnabled or CFBundleDocumentTypes to work? I added UIFileSharingEnabled as true to my plist and used Apple's example from the link below for CFBundleDocumentTypes, but can't seem to get it to work. I don't see my app under file sharing in iTunes, and I do not get the option to open documents I registered in my app when I click on them in the mail.app http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/General/Conceptual/iPadProgrammingGuide/CoreApplication/CoreApplication.html

    All, A client is asking for Facebook Connect statistical data. Specifically, how many people have shared a link to their wall. I have a Facebook app setup but I am having trouble interpreting the statistical data. Do Facebook apps collect this data, or can anyone think of any way of gleaning this data from the past month, from server logs or something? For instance, can I look at the logs for xd_receiver.htm and see usage patterns from that, or something?

  • Trouble with codeblocks installation on Ubuntu 9.10

    I installed Code::Blocks on Ubuntu 9.10, but when I start it from terminal, it shows the following error: relocation error: /usr/lib/libcodeblocks.so.0: symbol _Z18wxSafeConvertWX2MBPKw, version WXU_2.8.2 not defined in file libwx_baseu-2.8.so.0 with link time reference What is wrong with it? It seems to me I have installed all necessary libraries. Any ideas? P.S. I am a Linux noobie - so sorry if it is some kind of a well-known mistake.

  • Webservice Follow Redirect False - Error 302 (JAXWS)

    This is a link to a question I had asked two days back, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2573858/how-to-make-a-webservice-request-follow-a-redirect I am using jaxws library. The service forms the URL, and then internally creates the HTTPURLConnection. If I can grab hold of the connection I would be able to set the followRedirect to true. But not getting a handle of the same. Its urgent, any help would be highly appreciated.

    We all know that Mathematica is great, but it also often lacks critical functionality. What kind of external packages / tools / resources do you use with Mathematica? I'll edit (and invite anyone else to do so too) this main post to include resources which are focused on general applicability in scientific research and which as many people as possible will find useful. Feel free to contribute anything, even small code snippets (as I did below for a timing routine). Also, undocumented and useful features in Mathematica 7 and beyond you found yourself, or dug up from some paper/site are most welcome. Please include a short description or comment on why something is great or what utility it provides. If you link to books on Amazon with affiliate links please mention it, e.g., by putting your name after the link. Packages: LevelScheme is a package that greatly expands Mathematica's capability to produce good looking plots. I use it if not for anything else then for the much, much improved control over frame/axes ticks. David Park's Presentation Package ($50 - no charge for updates) Tools: MASH is Daniel Reeves's excellent perl script essentially providing scripting support for Mathematica 7. (This is finally built in as of Mathematica 8 with the -script option.) Resources: Wolfram's own repository MathSource has a lot of useful if narrow notebooks for various applications.
