  Hi, i have a wcf service which runs perfectly on my dev machine (vs2010, target 3.5) but once deployed, it shows me the code behind of the service (actually the plain text of the .svc file) and not the normal service page: <%@ ServiceHost Language="C#" Debug="true" Service="SilverlightPoc.Web.FinanceData" CodeBehind="FinanceData.svc.cs" %> Anyone any idea why the .svc file is rendered as plain text and not as wcf service?

• Faster code with another compiler

  I'm using the standard gcc compiler in math software development with C-language. I don't know that much about compilers or compiler options, and I was just wondering, is it possible to make faster executables using another compiler or choosing better options? The default Makefile sets options -ffast-math and -O3 and I think both of them have some impact in the overall calculation time. My software is using memory quite extensively, so I imagine some options related to memory management might do the trick? Any ideas?

  What is the advantage of using a ConcurrentBag(Of MyType) against just using a List(Of MyType)? The MSDN page on the CB (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd381779(v=VS.100).aspx) states that ConcurrentBag(Of T) is a thread-safe bag implementation, optimized for scenarios where the same thread will be both producing and consuming data stored in the bag So what is the advantage? I know what the straightforward implementation would look like: simply implement BlockingQueue and accept a BlockingQueue in the constructor to which all of the methods would delegate. Is there another way that I'm missing? A library perhaps? Something with a callback interface?

• Localization problems in iPhone

  Hi I have been trying to localize my iPhone app in two languages - english and german I have created two folders en.lproj and de.lproj each containing Localizable.strings file for respective language. I have included these files in my resources folder, changed the encoding of these files to UTF-16. I have tried cleaning the project and building it again, deleting folder at path: Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User But the problem is still there. Anybody having an idea please help.

And when i am trying to show in using the setTypeface it showing the Telugu font in a simple program even but not correctly.i am using the Pothana2000.ttf to convert the telugu unicode to Telugu language.
