  • are scala's mouse events working? how?

    Hi, I'm trying to create link-like label in scala. But no mouse events works for me. How are they supposed to work? class Hyperlink extends Label{ text = "hyperlink" reactions += { case MouseClicked(_,_,_,_,_) => println("mouse clicked")}} I put this in some panel and click over the label like a pro minesweeper player... and nothing shows up in console. Why?

  • Storing VMware virtual machines in external harddisk

    Any issue with that? I recently setup ubunutu virtual machine on my external harddisk. Once i accidentally removed the external harddisk usb connection then when i try to startup the ubuntu virtual machine again i get kernel panic. I thinking of writing a cron script to backup everyday to another location to prevent this issue

    I have a .ico that I want to add to several class library DLL projects, using Visual Studio Pro 2008. For each project, I added the ico, set the built type to 'embedded resource' and set the icon in the project prefs page. Still the icon is the default. What did I miss? Thanks.

  • Why is SpringSource Tool Suite (STS) so slow? And how can I fix it?

    I've been running STS 2.3.2 on a MacBook Pro for a few days now. I'm finding the performance to be significantly slower than any other build of Eclipse I've used. For example, switching from one tab to another can take up to 4 seconds. I tried turning off much of the validation, and increasing the memory, but it's not making a difference. Are others having similar experiences?
