  Hello, I've used "Google AJAX Transliteration API" and it's going well with me. http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlanguage/documentation/referenceTransliteration.html Currently I've a project that I need all input fields in every page (input & textarea tags) to be transliteratable, while these input fields differs from page to page (dynamic). As I know, I've to call makeTransliteratable(elementIds, opt_options) method in the API call to define which input fields to make transliteratable, and in my case here I can't predefine those fields manually. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks in advance

• How to output formatted HTML from PHP?

  I like to format all my HTML with tabs for neatness and readability. Recently I started using PHP and now I have a lot of HTML output that comes from in between PHP tags. Those output lines all line up one the left side of the screen. I have to use /n to make a line go to the next. Is there anything like that for forcing tabs, or any way to have neat HTML output coming from PHP?

• javascript/jquery input fields cleanup

  I've created a few input fields, that I am cleaning up as the user types. So, I'm using a keystroke detection event, like .keyup() It's all working very well, but I do notice one thing that's rather annoying for the users. While the script is cleaning the data as they type, their cursor is being sent to the end of the input field. So, if you want to edit the middle of the value, you're cursor immediately goes to the end of the box. Does anyone know of a way to maintain the cursor's current position inside the input field? I'm not holding my breath, but I thought I'd ask. • Problems referencing build output from TFS Build and Visual Studio

  Here's what I'm trying to do: I have two solutions - one for my main application and its associated projects and another for my database (VS .dbproj) and its associated projects. What I'd like to do is include the output from the database project (a .dbschema and some SQL scripts) in my WiX installer (which exists in the main application solution.) This involves having TFS build the DB solution immediately before the main application solution. I've got that part working properly, but I'm having trouble referencing the output of the DB solution from my installer. I'm using relative paths to reference the DB project output in my WiX installer (e.g. <?define DBProjectOutputDir = "..\..\MyDatabaseSolution\MyDatabaseProject\sql\"?>) which works fine locally, but fails when building via TFS build. This is because TFS Build apparently changes the output dir of each project to one common location. Instead of the path to my database project being ..\..\MyDatabaseSolution\MyDatabaseProject\sql\ like it is when building locally, it gets set to something like ..\..\..\Binaries\Release\. How can I get around this and have a consistent output location to reference from my installer project? I'm using TFS 2005 and VS 2008.

• Cocoa/Objective-C - Child window with text input without main window becoming inactive

  Hello All, I have a need to spawn a window that will hover just above my main window in a cocoa application. I want this main window to allow the user to enter some text in an input box. All is well until the text input box actually gains focus. The main window becomes "deactivated." This window is borderless and is a slightly custom shape -- its more like a hover card than anything else, I suppose. Basically, I'd like this thing to work almost exactly like Spotlight (Apple + Space) -- you can enter text, but this is such an an ancillary operation that in the context of the greater UX, you don't want the jarring effect of the main window graying out (becoming inactive). You'll notice when you have some application open and in-focus, spotlight will not cause the window of that application to become inactive. This problem arises because text input seems to REQUIRE that the child window become the key window (it will not let you place the cursor in the text input field). When it becomes key, the main window becomes inactive. So far I've tried: Subclassing NSWindow for my main application and overriding isKeyWindow such that it only loses key when the application is no longer the users focus (as opposed to the window). This had the unintended effect of colliding with key status of the child window and having very strange effects on the keyboard input (some keys are not captured, like delete) Creating a view instead of a window. Doesn't work because of this problem -- you cannot draw over a Webkit WebView these days. Anybody Cocoa/OSX wizards have any ideas? I've become a little obsessed with this one. An itch I can't scratch.

  Hi, MSDN states that it is possible in .NET to capture the output of a process and display it in the console window at the same time. Normally when you set StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = true; the console window stays blank. As the MSDN site doesn't provide a sample for this I was wondering if anyone would have a sample or could point me to a sample? When a Process writes text to its standard stream, that text is normally displayed on the console. By redirecting the StandardOutput stream, you can manipulate or suppress the output of a process. For example, you can filter the text, format it differently, or write the output to both the console and a designated log file. MSDN This post is similar to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/786726/capture-standard-output-and-still-display-it-in-the-console-window by the way. • Scroll an input box to the cursor position in javascript

  I've written a simple JS function that places the cursor at the end of the contents of an input box when it receives focus (the most common action in the box being to append). I haven't checked in IE, but when there is more text than is visible, even moving the cursor to the end of input doesn't scroll the view to the end of input in firefox 3.6. Any idea how to do this? P.S. And no I'm not using JQuery, nor is it an option ;)

  Hi I've been searching for a way to do this, but could not find anything I want to have a: a disabled input text field, called #XX. This input will store the selected value from datepicker (as this input is disabled I won't be able to use this to trigger the datePicker) A button, besides #XX. When user clicks this button, datePicker will show. User will select the date, and this date will be assigned to disabled input #XX. I want this so user can't change manually -by typing crap- the selected date Also, should I validate if date was entered using #XX.val()? or is there a better way? Thanks

• Change input text to regular text on blur and ability to edit jQuery

  I'm creating a form where I'm eliminating the use of a save button. The form is made up of input text boxes and textareas. After the user enters data into the input field, I want to trigger an onBlur function and change the input into a span that contains the information that the user entered. I also want to have the ability to edit this information, so if the user clicks on the newly created span with text, it will turn back into the input field with the current information for their editing pleasure. For reference, I'm looking to have a functionality pretty much like on editing a photo title on Flickr. If possible, I'd also like to have the textbox show "saving..." for half a second after the blur to reflect interaction with server.

  I am looking to do the following Disallow text selection inside of an input element Do not show the cursor carrot inside of an input i cannot simply blur the input on click, focus must remain in the input. There is probably a way to do this in just IE, i would of course rather have a cross browser solution but ill settle for IE (or FF) only solution.   Hello, I am trying to determine how to get the height on a block of latex output (not the whole document, and not the code..but rather a block of output). As an example of what I am trying to accomplish: i were to have the latex code $\sum_{i=0}^\infty \frac{1}{n}\infty$ \newline hello world \newline hello universe its output would be something like 2 inches high. Of course, the height of the above block of text is dependent on a number of things-font, margin size, etc, as changing any of these parameters changes how many inches that output would be.   So a FILE stream can have both input and output buffers. You can adjust the output stream using setvbuf (I am unaware of any method to play with the input buffer size and behavior). Also, by default the buffer is BUFSIZ (not sure if this is a POSIX or C thing). It is very clear what this means for stdin/stdout/stderr, but what are the defaults for newly opened files? Are they buffered for both input and output? Or perhaps just one? If it is buffered, does output default to block or line mode?
