  • Windows Media Player on top other DIV

    - by HP
    I have an embed window media player which is always on top of other DIV tags. I used wmode = opaque; WindowlessVideo = -1 but it does not help. Does anyone know how to make it appear below a certain element of the page. <object type="application/x-oleobject" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" codebase= "http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" width="345" height="45"><param name="URL" value= "http://nhacso.net/Music/nghe_song.aspx?id=100004995" /> <param name="EnableContextMenu" value="0" /> <param name="uiMode" value="full" /> <param name="stretchToFit" value="True" /> <param name="AnimationAtStart" value="false" /> <param name="playcount" value="10" /> <param name="Volume" value="100" /> <param name="autostart" value="0" /> <param name="wmode" value="opaque" /> <param name="WindowlessVideo" value="-1" /> <embed src="http://nhacso.net/Music/nghe_song.aspx?id=100004995" type="application/x-mplayer2" width="345" height="45" align= "center" border="0" autostart="0" transparentatstart="1" animationatstart="1" showcontrols="true" showaudiocontrols="1" showpositioncontrols="0" enablecontextmenu="0" autosize="0" showstatusbar="1" displaysize="false" playcount="10" wmode="opaque" windowlessvideo="-1" /></object> Thanks

  • How to convert X/Y position to Canvas Left/Top properties when using ItemsControl

    - by kshahar
    I am trying to use a Canvas to display objects that have "world" location (rather than "screen" location). The canvas is defined like this: <Canvas Background="AliceBlue"> <ItemsControl Name="myItemsControl" ItemsSource="{Binding MyItems}"> <ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Canvas> <TextBlock Canvas.Left="{Binding WorldX}" Canvas.Top="{Binding WorldY}" Text="{Binding Text}" Width="Auto" Height="Auto" Foreground="Red" /> </Canvas> </DataTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> </ItemsControl> </Canvas> MyItem is defined like this: public class MyItem { public MyItem(double worldX, double worldY, string text) { WorldX = worldX; WorldY = worldY; Text = text; } public double WorldX { get; set; } public double WorldY { get; set; } public string Text { get; set; } } In addition, I have a method to convert between world and screen coordinates: Point worldToScreen(double worldX, double worldY) { // return screen coordinates using the canvas properties and an internal MapData object } With the current implementation, the items are positioned in the wrong location, because their location is not converted to screen coordinates. How can I apply the worldToScreen method on the MyItem objects before they are added to the canvas?

  • XPath Query - Select relative top level nodes

    - by John
    I'm trying to iterate over some elements in an XML document that may be nested, but as I iterate over them I may be removing some from the tree. I'm thinking the best way is to do this recursively, so I'm trying to come up with an XPath Query that will select all the top-level nodes relative to the current node. //foo[not(ancestor::foo)] works great at the document level, but I'm trying to figure out how to do this from a relative query. <foo id="1"> <foo id="2" /> <foo id="3"> <foo id="4"> <bar> <foo id="5"> <foo id="6" /> </foo> <foo id="7" /> </bar> </foo> </foo> </foo> If the current node is foo#3, I only want to select foo#4. When the current node is foo#4, I only want to select foo#5 and foo#7. I think I'm trying to select any descendant foo nodes of the current node, but without any ancestor foo nodes between the current node and the node I'm selecting. My conundrum is if we're already inside a foo node, not(ancestor::foo) doesn't help.

  • Custom layout in Android: scrollable graphic with selectable elements over top

    - by Martyn
    Hi, I'm fairly new to the Android platform and was wondering if I could get some advice for my current head scratcher: I'm making an app which in one view will need an image, which can be scrolled on one axis, with a load of selectable points over the top of it. Each point needs to be positionable on the x and y (unlikely to change once the app is running, but I'll need to fine tune the positions whilst I'm developing it). I'd like to be able to let the user select each point and have a graphic drawn on the point the user has selected or just draw a graphic on one/more points without user intervention. I though for the selectable points I could extend the checkbox with a custom image for the selected state - does that sounds right, or is there a better way of doing this? Is there any thing I can read up on doing this, I can't seem to find anything on the net about replacing the default images? I was going to use the absolute layout, but see that it's been depreciated and I can't find anything to replace it. Can anyone give me some code or advice on where to read up on what I need to do? Thank you in advance

  • Maximized MFC window has dead region at the top

    - by John Calsbeek
    I'm trying to make a MFC window fullscreen whenever it is maximized. This window is being used to draw OpenGL content. So far it works fine—it fills the entire screen with the exception of the taskbar—but there's a dead black region at the top of the screen, 62 pixels in height. It's pretty darn close to the height of the Windows 7 taskbar, but it pretty much stays the same regardless of if the taskbar is on autohide or on a different side of the screen. When I get a CWind::OnSize callback, the height that is given is 988, which is 62 pixels short of the actual screen height (1050). I've tried to manually set the window height to 1050 with SetWindowPos, I've tried to give Windows the screen dimensions in CWnd::OnGetMinMaxInfo, and I've tried to give the screen dimensions to glViewport instead of the 988 pixels that I'm being given. None of these seem to work. I'm accomplishing the fullscreening with a call to… ModifyStyle(0, WS_MINIMIZEBOX | WS_MAXIMIZEBOX | WS_SYSMENU | WS_CAPTION | WS_POPUP, 0); …in the SIZE_MAXIMIZED CWnd::OnSize callback, which works fine, except for this dead region. I don't know if it's an OpenGL thing or a Win32 thing or a MFC thing. The GetClientRect function for my window reports the false 988 height. The same OpenGL rendering code works fine in my Mac OS X build. Curiously enough, I have gotten the dead region to move around a bit when I play with the taskbar (autohiding it, moving it around the screen, etc.). I've gotten the dead area to shrink to about half—not sure if the other half went to the bottom of the window or not.

  • Have Your Cake and Eat it Too: Industry Best Practices + Flexibility

    - by Oracle Accelerate for Midsize Companies
    By Richard Garraputa, VP of Sales & Marketing, brij Richard joined brij in 1996 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with degrees in Information Systems and Accounting. He directs brij’s overall strategies of both the business development and marketing departments. Companies looking for new ERP systems spend so much time comparing features and functions of software products but too often short change the value of their own processes.  Company managers I meet often claim that they are implementing a new ERP system so they can perform better and faster.  When asked how, the answer is often “by implementing best practices”.  But the term ‘best practices’ is frequently used to mean ‘doing things the way everyone else does them’ rather than a starting point or benchmark to build upon by adding your own value. Of course, implementing standardized processes across an enterprise is an important step in improving operational efficiencies.  But not all companies are alike.  Do you ever tell your customers “We are just like our competition and have no competitive differentiation”?  Probably not.  So why should the implementation of your business processes be just like your competitor’s?  Even within the same industry, companies differentiate themselves by leveraging their unique expertise and approach to business.  These unique aspects—the competitive differentiators that companies use to thrive in a crowded marketplace—can and should be supported by the implementation of business systems like ERP. Modern ERP systems like Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne have a broad and deep functional footprint designed to integrate a company’s core operations.  But how can a company take advantage of this footprint without blowing up their implementation budget?  Some ERP vendors claim to solve this challenge by stating that their systems come pre-configured with ‘best practices’.  Too often what they are really saying is that you will have to abandon your key operational differentiators to fit a vendor’s template for your business—or extend your implementation and postpone the realization of any benefits. Thankfully for midsize companies, there is an alternative to the undesirable options of extended implementation projects or abandoning their competitive differentiators.  Oracle Accelerate Solutions speed the time it takes to implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solution based on your unique business characteristics, getting your new ERP system up and running faster without forcing your business to fit a cookie-cutter solution. We’ve been a JD Edwards implementation partner since 1986 and we now leverage Oracle Business Accelerators—cloud based rapid implementation tools built and maintained by Oracle. Oracle Business Accelerators deliver the benefits of embedded industry best practices without forcing every customer in to one set of processes like many template or “clone and go” approaches do. You retain the ability to reconfigure your applications—without customization—as your business changes. Wielded by Oracle partners with industry-specific domain expertise, Oracle Accelerate Solution implementations powered by Oracle Business Accelerators help automate the application configuration to fit your business better, faster. For example, on a recent project at a manufacturing company, the project manager told me that Oracle Business Accelerators helped get them to Conference Room Pilot 20% faster than with a traditional approach. Time savings equal cost savings. And if ‘better and faster’ is your goal for your business performance, shouldn’t it be the goal for your ERP implementation as well? Established in 1986, brij has been dedicated solely to helping its customers implement Oracle’s JD Edwards solutions and to maximize the value of those customers’ IT investments. They are a Gold level member in Oracle PartnerNetwork and an Oracle Accelerate Solution provider.

  • UIScrollView ImageView with pins on top

    - by Koppo
    To all, I have a UIScrollView which has a UIImageView. I want to show pins on this imageView. When I add pins as subviews of the ImageView everything is great except for when you zoom the scale transform happens on the pins also. I don't want this behavior and want my pins to stay the same. So I choose to add the Pins to another view which sits on top of the ImageView and is also a subview of the UIScrollView. The idea here if you will imagine is to have a layer which hovers over the map and won't scale yet show pins over where I plot them. The pin when added to the layer view don't cale if the ImageView scales. However the issue then bceomes the position of the pins doesn't match the original origin x/y as the ImageView has had a scale transform. Basically this is a custom map of a place with Pins. I am trying to have the Pins float over and not zoom in and out over my ImageView yet remember where I placed them when the zoom happens. Some code scrollView = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:viewRect]; scrollView.delegate = self; scrollView.pagingEnabled = NO; scrollView.scrollsToTop = NO; [scrollView setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]]; scrollView.clipsToBounds = YES; // default is NO, we want to restrict drawing within our scrollview scrollView.bounces = YES; scrollView.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleHeight; scrollView.indicatorStyle = UIScrollViewIndicatorStyleWhite; imageViewMap = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"image.png"]]; imageViewMap.userInteractionEnabled = YES; viewRect = CGRectMake(0,0,imageViewMap.image.size.width,imageViewMap.image.size.height); //viewRect = CGRectMake(0,0,2976,3928); [scrollView addSubview:imageViewMap]; [scrollView setContentSize:CGSizeMake(viewRect.size.width, viewRect.size.height)]; iconsView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:imageViewMap.frame]; [scrollView addSubview:iconsView]; Code to add Pin later on some event. [iconsView addSubview:pinIcon]; I am stuck in trying tp figure out how to to get my pins to hover on the map without moving when the scale happens. Thanks

  • z-index of DIV positioned on top of another div

    - by Elie
    I have two div containers which are structured as follows: <div class="outer-div"> <img src="images/point.png" class="img-a1"> <img src="images/point.png" class="img-a2"> Lots of text goes here. </div> <div class="outer-div"> <img src="images/point.png" class="img-a1"> <img src="images/point.png" class="img-b2"> Some more text goes here </div> The styles associated with this are as follows: .outer-div { position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 500px; } .img-a1 { float:left; z-index:-1; position:relative; margin-left: 250px; margin-bottom: 100px; } .img-b1 { float:right; z-index:-1; position:relative; margin-left: 250px; margin-bottom: 100px; } img-a2 { float:left; z-index:-1; position:relative; margin-left: 400px; margin-bottom: 200px; } img-b2 { float:right; z-index:-1; position:relative; margin-left: 400px; margin-bottom: 200px; } The result of this is to produce something like the following, where ... is the text from div-a and ||| is the text from div-b: .....||||| .....||||| .. || .. || However, since the second div is placed immediately above the first div, none of the text in the second div can be selected, although it can be seen since there is just empty space, and a 1x1 px image above it. Is there a way to get the text from the lower div to be selectable, without making the upper div unselectable?

  • How to get the top keys from a hash by value

    - by Kirs Kringle
    I have a hash that I sorted by values greatest to least. How would I go about getting the top 5? There was a post on here that talked about getting only one value. What is the easiest way to get a key with the highest value from a hash in Perl? I understand that so would lets say getting those values add them to an array and delete the element in the hash and then do the process again? Seems like there should be an easier way to do this then that though. My hash is called %words. use strict; use warnings; use Tk; #Learn to install here: http://factscruncher.blogspot.com/2012/01/easy-way-to-install-tk- on-strawberry.html #Reading in the text file my $file0 = Tk::MainWindow->new->Tk::getOpenFile; open( my $filehandle0, '<', $file0 ) || die "Could not open $file0\n"; my @words; while ( my $line = <$filehandle0> ) { chomp $line; my @word = split( /\s+/, lc($line)); push( @words, @word ); } for (@words) { s/[\,|\.|\!|\?|\:|\;|\"]//g; } #Counting words that repeat; put in hash my %words_count; $words_count{$_}++ for @words; #Reading in the stopwords file my $file1 = "stoplist.txt"; open( my $filehandle1, '<', $file1 ) or die "Could not open $file1\n"; my @stopwords; while ( my $line = <$filehandle1> ) { chomp $line; my @linearray = split( " ", $line ); push( @stopwords, @linearray ); } for my $w ( my @stopwords ) { s/\b\Q$w\E\B//ig; } #Comparing the array to Hash and deleteing stopwords my %words = %words_count; for my $stopwords ( @stopwords ) { delete $words{ $stopwords }; } #Sorting Hash Table my @keys = sort { $words{$b} <=> $words{$a} or "\L$a" cmp "\L$b" } keys %words; #Starting Statistical Work my $value_count = 0; my $key_count = 0; #Printing Hash Table $key_count = keys %words; foreach my $key (@keys) { $value_count = $words{$key} + $value_count; printf "%-20s %6d\n", $key, $words{$key}; } my $value_average = $value_count / $key_count; #my @topwords; #foreach my $key (@keys){ #if($words{$key} > $value_average){ # @topwords = keys %words; # } #} print "\n", "The number of values: ", $value_count, "\n"; print "The number of elements: ", $key_count, "\n"; print "The Average: ", $value_average, "\n\n";

  • how to make DIV show up on top of other Divs

    - by feelexit
    I upload my code on jsFiddle, you can see it there. http://jsfiddle.net/SrT2U/2/ When you click on the link, the hidden FAQ section will show up, and it will push other divs down. But that is not what I want, I need all other divs stay where they are, and my hidden FAQ section just float on the top. Not sure how to do it. Not even sure if this should be done in HTML, CSS or jQuery. My jQuery code: $(function(){ $(".OpenTopMessage").click(function () { $("#details").slideToggle("slow"); }); }); HTML code: <div style="border: 1px solid #000;"> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> <span>link</span> <span>&nbsp;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&nbsp;</span> </div> <div id="faqBox"> <table width="100%"> <tr><td><a href="#" id="openFAQ" class="OpenTopMessage">this is hte faq section</a></td> </tr> </table> <div id="details" style="display:none"> <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> the display style property is set to none to ensure that the element no longer affects the layout of the page <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> </div> </div> <br/><br/> <div style="background:#c00;">other stuff heren the height reaches 0 after a hiding animation, the display style property is set to </div>

I enable depth testing, then upon resize I do: glEnable(GL_CULL_FACE); glCullFace(GL_BACK); glEnable(GL_DEPTH_TEST); glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glLoadIdentity(); glFrustum(0,event.display.width,event.display.height,0,1,300); Then my drawing looks like: float BOX_SIZE = 200.0f; glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT | GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT); glRotatef(0.5, 0, 0.0f, 1.0f); glBegin(GL_QUADS); //Top face glColor3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); glNormal3f(0.0, 1.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(500 + -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(500 + -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(500 + BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(500 + BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); //Bottom face glColor3f(1.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f); glNormal3f(0.0, -1.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); //Left face glNormal3f(-1.0, 0.0f, 0.0f); glColor3f(0.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glColor3f(0.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); //Right face glNormal3f(1.0, 0.0f, 0.0f); glColor3f(1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glColor3f(0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glEnd(); glEnable(GL_TEXTURE_2D); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); glColor3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f); glBegin(GL_QUADS); //Front face glNormal3f(0.0, 0.0f, 1.0f); glTexCoord2f(0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(1.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(1.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(0.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2); //Back face glNormal3f(0.0, 0.0f, -1.0f); glTexCoord2f(0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(1.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(1.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glTexCoord2f(0.0f, 1.0f); glVertex3f(BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2, -BOX_SIZE / 2); glEnd(); glDisable(GL_TEXTURE_2D); //code goes here al_flip_display(); for some reason the cube no matter how I translate it seems to extend from 0,0 and theres always a vertex at 0,0. What have I done wrong? Thanks

  • Non RBAC User Roles and Permissions System: a role with properties

    - by micha12
    We are currently designing a User Roles and Permissions System in our web application (ASP.NET), and it seems that we have several cases that do no fit within the classical Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). I will post several questions, each devoted to a particular case. This is my second question (the first question is here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2839797/non-rbac-user-roles-and-permissions-system-checking-the-users-city). We have the following case: we need to implement a Manager role in our web application. However, a Manager can belong to one or several companies (within a big group of companies for which we are creating this web app). Say, there can be “Manager of companies A and B”, “Manager of company C”, etc. Depending on the companies that the Manager belongs, he has access to certain operations: for example, he can communicate with clients only of those companies that he belongs to. That is, “Manager of companies A and B” can only have contacts with clients of companies A and B, and not with those of company C. He can also view clients’ details pages of companies A and B and not of C, etc. It seems that this case falls within the RBAC. However, this is not really the case. We will need to create a ManagerRole class that will have a Companies property – that is, this will not be just a role as a collection of permissions (like in the classical RBAC), but a role with properties! This was just one example of a role having properties. There will be others: for example, an Administrator role that will also belong to a number of companies and will also have other custom properties. This means that we will a hierarchy or roles classes: class Role – base class class ManagerRole : Role List Companies class AdministratorRole : Role List Companies Other properties We investigated pure RBAC and its implementation in several systems, and found no systems featuring a hierarchy or roles, each having custom properties. In RBAC, roles are just collections of permissions. We could model our cases using permission with properties, like ManagerPermission, AdministratorPermission, but this has a lot of drawbacks, the main being that we will not be able to assign a role like “Manager of Companies A and B” to a user directly, but will have to create a role containing a ManagerPermission for companies A and B… Moreover, a "Manager" seems to be rather a "role" (position in the company) rather than a "permission" from the linguistic point of view. Would be grateful for any ideas on this subject, as well as any experience in this field! Thank you.

  • Fix a box 250px from top of content with wrapping content

    - by Matt
    I'm having trouble left aligning a related links div inside a block of text, exactly 250 pixels from the top of a content area, while retaining word wrapping. I attempted to do this with absolute positioning, but the text in the content area doesn't wrap around the content. I would just fix the related links div in the content, however, this will display on an article page, so I would like for it to be done without placing it in a specific location in the content. Is this possible? If so, can someone help me out with the CSS for this? Example image of desired look & feel... UPDATE: For simplicity, I've added example code. You can view this here: http://www.focusontheclouds.com/files/example.html. • jquery, moving the current item to the top

  • Setting an XAML Window always on top (but no TopMost property)

    - by Brian Scherady
    I am developing an application based on OptiTrack SDK (from NaturalPoint). I need to run the application window as "Always on Top". The window is designed in XAML and is controled in the class "CameraView" but it does not seem to include a "TopMost" property or equivalent. Attached are the code of "CameraView.xaml.cs" and the code of "CameraView.xaml" that are part of OptiTrack SDK (NaturalPoint) called "Single_Camera_CSharp_.NET_3.0". One could expect the class CameraView to contain properties or members to set the position of the window on the screen or to set it to TopMost but as far as searched I found nothing. I wonder what I should do. • jquery jumps to top on click event, return false or prevenDefault doesn't work

    - by Sebsemillia
    Hi, I have written a simple jquery script for a content slider. My problem is that the screen always jumps to the top position of the parent div when sliding the content. I've tried return false and preventDefault to cope with this effect, but the two just make the script not work anymore, nothing happens when I click the links.. So here is the jquery code: $(document).ready(function (){ var itemCount = $('.container div').size(); var itemWidth = $('.container div').width(); $('.container').wrap('<div id="AboutSlider"></div>'); $('#AboutSlider').css({'width':'640px', 'overflow':'hidden', 'position':'relative', 'height':'400px'}); $('#AboutSlider .container').css({'width':itemCount*itemWidth+'px', 'position':'absolute', 'height':'400px'}); $('.container .aboutContent').css({'padding-left':'0px'}); $('#AboutSlider .aboutContent').css({'width':'640px', 'float':'left', 'min-height':'400px'}); $('#AboutNav a').click(function(){ var integer = $(this).attr('rel'); $('#AboutSlider .container').animate({left:-640*(parseInt(integer)-1)}) $('#AboutNav a').each(function(){ $(this).removeClass('active'); if($(this).hasClass('button'+integer)){ $(this).addClass('active')} }); }); }); And here the respective html bit: <div id="Dienstleistungen"> <div class="left_column"> <h2>Meine Dienstleistungen</h2> <h3>KOMPETENZEN</h3> <ul id="AboutNav"> <li><h1><a href="#Kompetenzen" class="button1 active" rel="1" title="Frontend Entwicklung | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">&Uuml;berblick</a></h1></li> <li><h1><a href="#Frontend" class="button2" rel="2" title="Frontend Entwicklung | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">Frontend Entwicklung</a></h1></li> <li><h1><a href="#CMS" class="button3" rel="3" title="Content Management Systeme &amp; Online Shops | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">Content Management Systeme &amp; Online Shops</a></h1></li> <li><h1><a href="#SEO" class="button4" rel="4" title="Suchmaschinenoptimierung (SEO) | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">Suchmaschinenoptimierung (SEO)</a></h1></li> <li><h1><a href="#ScreenDesign" class="button5" rel="5" title="Screen Design | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">Screen Design</a></h1></li> <li><h1><a href="#Hand" class="button6" rel="6" title="Alles aus einer Hand | Sebastian B&ouml;hme">Alles aus einer Hand</a></h1></li> </ul> </div> <div class="container"> <div id="Kompetenzen" class="aboutContent right_columns"> <h1>&Uuml;berblick</h1> <p>Phasellus in massa.   • Content Box is a Little Off in IE9 ... How to Fix?

    - by Kelsey Nealon
    Hi there! I have a website at www.thetotempole.ca and when viewed in IE9... My websites content box (The green wooden backgrounded box with content inside) is moved slightly over to the left making a space between the actual container and the content box... Is there anyway I can fix this without harming any of the other browsers? Thanks! • Does it help to be core programmer of a product (meant for social good) for getting into a PhD program at a top university?

    - by Maddy.Shik
    Hey i am working upon a product as core developer which will be launched in USA market in few months if successful. Can this factor improve my chances for getting accepted into a PhD program at a top university (say top 20 in US)? Normally good universities like CMU, Standford, MIT, Cornell are more interested in student's profile like research work, undergraduate school, etc. I am now passed out from very good university it's ranked in top 20 of India only. Neither did I do research work till now. But being one of founding member of company and developing product for same, I want to know if this factor can help and to what extent.

  • [C#/WPF] Combo box Item source = ObservableCollection & I need a '-None-' dummy entry at the top

    - by James
    I have a combo box using an observable collection as a datasource and I want a "dummy" value of "None" as the first item in the box as it controls filters against other data sources. Other databound objects also use the same observable collection so adding a "None" value directly to the datasource is not possible as I dont want, for example, my datagrids having a "none" in them. Also I'd rather avoid filters to just remove the "none" value for those that do not use it, as I'd like the observable collection to direclty reflect the database data; if at all possible. I'd also like to avoid having one observable collection per databound control. What I'm really after is a was to put a, non data bound, first entry into a combobox while also having the item source pointed at an obervable collection. Thanks

  • Moving from ClearCase to Mercurial: your top tips?

    - by Robusto
    We will soon start replacing ClearCase with Mercurial. I hear this is a good thing. The change model vs. the version model. Wave of the future. I'm prepared to believe this. Still, it kind of frightens me. Hey, it took Joel Spolsky a while to grok the difference and how to get maximum advantage out of Mercurial, so I'm betting I will run into conceptual traps and pitfalls. Does anyone have any real-world "how to grok Mercurial" tips? Anything specific suggestions that will help me bridge the conceptual gap. Any warnings about things not to do? I'd appreciate hearing them. I've already read the closest questions on SO related to this topic, as well as the Mercurial tour and a number of other blogs. I'm mainly interested in any gotchas or uh-ohs I may encounter. Any wisdom you can impart will be appreciated.

  • IE7 div boxes with clear: right and float: left - float to top

    - by i3rutus
    Hey, lately i've been slamming my head against my desk to solve this Problem. Didn't work out. I know it can be solved by editing the contents with some clearing elements. Sadly there is some javascript sorting beeing used and the Sourcode is being generated by CMS Components so that would be my last shot. I'm having a few boxes beeing floated alwayes 2 in a row. The boxes have a diffrent height but equal width and are all placed in a container with static width. The link shows the source i need to reproduce the Problem. My Boxes are beeing floated left. I tried to fix this with clear: left on odd and clear: right on even elements. But that only works in ff/ie8/chrome Browsers, not ie7. Example: http://www.i3rutus.de/ie7divfloatexample/ Anyone knows a possibility to fix this Problem by just editing the CSS not the actual XHTML? Problem appears in IE7. IE8, Chrome and FF work fine. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance
