  Is it possible to create a small program that will run, without recompiling and without emulators, on both Windows CE 6 AND Windows XP SP3? From my knowledge, this isn't possible. Source code needs to be recompiled for the target platform. However, a hardware manufacturer for embedded boards is claiming otherwise. The application isn't anything complex, just a simple benchmarking tool analysing floating point operations, CPU ticks etc, and displaying the results on a plain GUI.

When the user clicks a button, I want each call to: textArea.append(someString + "\n"); to immediately show up in the UI. At the moment, the JTextArea does not show all log information until the processing has completed after clicking the button. How can I get it to refresh dynamically?

I know how to get the invisible button to cover most of buttons the screen but I can't get it to cover the navigation controller back button as this has been created in the parent view. How do I pop it over the top of the navigation controller from the detail view?

As following: I created an 'onclick' event in jQuery for the DIV as well: $('#divOne').click(function() { alert('You clicked on the DIV element'); }); My goal is to trigger this event when the DIV area is clicked (working fine), BUT- When the HyperLink is clicked, I need the page to redirect WITHOUT triggering the DIV 'onclick' event (can use JavaScript or jQuery as needed).   This seems like a fairly simple question, and I'm surprised not to have required it before. What is the most efficient way of testing a string input is a numeric (or conversely Not A Number).   I'm using a TcpClient passed to me from a TcpListener, and for the life of me I can't figure out a simple way to get the address and port it's connected to. The best I have so far is _client.Client.RemoteEndPoint.ToString(); which returns a string in the form FFFF::FFFF:FFFF:FFF:FFFF%00:0000. I've managed to extract the address and port using Regular Expressions, but this seems like overkill. What am I missing?
