  • I need to programmatically remove a batch of unique constraints that I don't know the names of.

    I maintain a product that is installed at multiple locations which as been haphazardly upgraded. Unique constraints were added to a number of tables, but I have no idea what the names are at any particular instance. What I do know is the table/columnname pair that has the unique constraints and I would like to write a script to delete any unique constraint on these column/table combinations. This is MSSQL 2000 and later. Something that works on 2000/2005/2008 would be best!

I've seen that several s/w use system date to check it but it's very primitive and easily forge-able.     Our existing compile-time assert implementation is based on negative array index, and it provides poor diagnostic output on GCC. C++0x's static_assert is a very nice feature, and the diagnostic output it provides is much better. I know GCC has already implemented some C++0x features. Does anyone know if static_assert is among them and if it is then since what GCC version?

Does anybody provide Visual Studio support for *IL in the form of: project templates, IntelliSense integration, and those kind of RAD features? Edits: I don't mean restricted to out of the box support. For example, I can download Visual Studio extensions to support Python, COBOL, etc. Want the same for *IL. There is a stand-alone Intermediate Assembler tool.
