    I am generating a System.Drawing.Bitmap on the fly in an ASP.NET Custom Web Server Control, and then I want to serve this bitmap as part of the WebResource, because I do not want to save it on the hosting computer. Is there a way to instruct ASP.NET to serve the generated System.Drawing.Bitmap as part of it's WebResource? (therefore making it an "Embedded Resource")

    Hi , I'm having a windows form which contains listview control , where listView1.View = View.Details; and listView1.CheckBoxes = true; then added a column with HeaderName as "FileName". listView1.Columns.Add("File Name", 200, HorizontalAlignment.Left); Here I would like to have check box in the Header of listview , ie FileName.   • Silverlight DataGrid Exception Reordering Column Headers

    I'm trying to set the initial display order of the column headers in a silverlight datagrid by changing the column header DisplayIndex values. If I try to set the column order at page load time, I get an out of range exception. If I set the column order (same routine) at a later time like, in a button click handler, it works. Is this just a bug in the silverlight datagrid control? Suggestions for a possible work around?

  • Appdomain recycle settings on mod_mono & Apache

    How does one control the application recycle settings for an ASP.NET application runnin on mod_mono & Apache ? On IIS6 & 7 there was an option to specify either a time period, a number of requests, etc. when the AppDomain would be recycled and the application would basically do an Application_End() / Application_Start(). I am seeing the same behaviour on mod_mono & Apache ,but I can't find where to change the settings.

    I am looking for a solution to create a "virtual" webcam device under OS X (that acts just as a normal hardware webcam, but the application has full control over what to output). I'm fairly experienced with C++, but not so much with Objective-C and OSX/Cocoa programming. Anyone that can point me in the right direction, where to look and what I should be looking for?     I have a main form and non-modal autocomplete form. How can I prevent the autocomplete form from being activated by the user, when the user clicks on the list in the autocomplete form? So, basically I want the autocomplete form the receive the mouse click message when the users clicks, but to never become active, because it causes problems with a third-party component in the main form over which I have no control.

    Hi, I'm having trouble sending mail using PHP mail() on IIS 7 using Windows 2008 Server. The server is dedicated, thus I have full control over my machine. php.ini looks fine - ([mail function] is configured) I don't get any error from mail() (with the right parameters of course) btw - I got ASP and ASP.NET sending mails without any problems.     I have hadoop job with tasks that are expected to run for significant length of fime (few minues). However hadoop starts speculative execution too soon. I do not want to turn speculative execution completely off but I want to increase duration of time hadoop waits before considering job for speculative execution. Is there a config option to control this timeout? Thanks

  • How to listen for AffectsParentArrange events when you're not the parent

    There is an attribute "AffectsParentArrange" that implicitly invalidates the parent's layout - but I want to attach an event handler to the "event" triggered by that attribute. When a child property with the attribute changes, the parent's arrangement is invalidated. I have a custom control (which is not the immediate parent) that needs to receive an event. Does anyone know of an event that can be used here? Do I need to provide a custom parent that overrides a method and fires an event?

For example, I'd put two timedatepicker controls so the user selects From: 24/9/2009 To: 19/3/2010 and then press a button to generate a report of items between these dates. I'm using Report Viewer control btw not crystal report.
