  • Umbraco: Handling In Page Javascript in Uswe Controls

    I have quite a number of user controls that I need to embed in Umbraco macros. Each user control has quite a bit of in page javascript that needs loaded into the page. I have been building up the javascript with StringBuilder.Appendline then registering a startup script with code behind but this stinks and I feel there has to be a better way of going about this. Has anyone any ideas please? Thanks, B

  • Missing parameter error after running MySql query

    Hello, I'm completely new to MySql and haven't used SqlDataSource with UpdateParameters before, so I'm probably missing something very obvious. When trying to update a record, the update does happen but then throws an error saying "'id' parameter is missing at the statement". So the query works and the database gets updated as it should, but an error is thrown afterwards. If user changes the filters, it would take a long time to recalculate the result and freeze the UI.

    I'm trying to use the MediaElement control in WPF to play back video. It works great in Vista, but when I run it on an XP machine I get tearing in the display. It looks as if it's not using the vertical synch, and just updating the screen mid-draw. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    I'm attempting to render RTF documents using the WPF RichTextBox control. So far, the appearance of the rendered RTF documents is quite true to the originals which were authored using MS Word. The one issue I've found is that the "document anchors" which are hyperlinks to different locations within the document, do not function as hoped. While they look like links, clicking on them does nothing. Can the WPF RichTextBox support this type of link?

I want to keep this there throughout all the views so you can control the audio while navigating through the other parts of the application (multiple view/table controllers). Is there a way to create a view that stays in place like a tab bar?
