  • microsoft visual studio 2008 builds keep failing

    My builds keep failing with the following error Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result 31 returned from 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin\mt.exe'. I find that i have to kill some process called mspdbsrv.exe description:"microsoft program database" Then rebuild the entire project. This is annoying. Is there a permanent solution to this problem or is it stuck with me for good? PS OS: windows 7 ultimate msv studio 2008 + sp1 professional

    A custom AnnotationView is updated with new coordinates. But the problem is that it visually updates only after some manipulations with MKMapView, e.g. zooming or moving.     I want something like a canvas, but where i'd be able to manipulate pixels easily in addition to all the provided geometries, that can be drawn on canvas. Is it possible to embed something like GD::Image into a canvas? So then I maybe could make the image transparent and set some pixels in it (GD::Image-setPixel()) positioning it over the canvas? ps: well, that doesn't necessarily have to be perl, as there seem to be bindings for all the libs for most scripting (and not only) languages.

    Good day! I have used LINQ2SQL with MS SQL 2005, but now I need to use it with MS SQL 2000. I have found only article on MSDN that tells about Skip() and Take() oddities on MS SQL 2000 (that's because it lacks ROW_NUMBER(), I suppose) and nothing more. Anyway, does anybody have expirience with LINQ2SQL and MS SQL 2000 combination. P.S. Just wondering: is it possible to model LINQ2SQL class on view, not a real table?
