    I have an XML document which looks something like this: <meadinkent> <record> <comp_div>MENSWEAR</comp_div> <sty_ret_type>ACCESSORIES</sty_ret_type> <sty_pdt_type>BELTS</sty_pdt_type> <pdt_category>AWESOME_BELTS</pdt_category> </record> <medinkent> I want to useXPath to select nodes which match all four elements and I'm having trouble getting the boolean syntax right. I'm trying this to match the first two just as a test: "/meadinkent/record/comp_div[.='" & comp_div & "'] and /meadinkent/record/sty_ret_type[.='" & sty_ret_type & "']" Which is failing, saying no nodes are returned.   • Linking against multiple shared libraries that all linked against a common static library

    Say you have 2 share libraries, lib1.so and lib2.so, that both have libcommon.a statically linked into them. Would the compiler complain about ambiguous symbol reference if you were to dynamically link both lib1.so and lib2.so? Or would be the compiler be smart enough to know libcommon symbols are shared between lib1 and lib2 and allow you to dynamically link against both?

    Hello, From the documentation it's clear I need to use the following to get a simple unmarshalling to occur from my XML file/schema: JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("PackageName"); where PackageName is my package name. I've looked on google for a bit to no avail, to find out why I'm then getting this runtime error: Line:Col[2:142]:cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'myconfig'. Line:Col[2:142]:unexpected element (uri:"http://www.w3.org", local:"myconfig"). Expected elements are <{}myconfig> Caught UnmarshalException This occurs at the top of all my class files, including the ones the XJC plugin for eclipse created for me (which I then moved out of PackageName.PackageName which it automatically created): package PackageName; so why is this error occurring?

  • Symfony: embedRelation() controlling options for nesting multiple levels of relations

    Hey all, I'm trying to set some conditional statements for nested embedRelation() instances, and can't find a way to get any kind of option through to the second embedRelation. I've got a "Measure-Page-Question" table relationship, and I'd like to be able to choose whether or not to display the Question table. For example, say I have two "success" pages, page1Success.php and page2Success.php. On page1, I'd like to display "Measure-Page-Question", and on page2, I'd like to display "Measure-Page", but I need a way to pass an "option" to the PageForm.class.php file to make that kind of decision. My actions.class.php file has something like this: // actions.class.php $this-form = new measureForm($measure, array('option'=$option)); to pass an option to the "Page", but passing that option through "Page" into "Question" doesn't work. My measureForm.class.php file has an embedRelation in it that is dependent on the "option": // measureForm.class.php if ($this-getOption('option') == "page_1") { $this-embedRelation('Page'); } and this is what i'd like to do in my pageForm.class.php file: // pageForm.class.php if ($this-getOption('option') == "page_1") { // Or != "page_2", or whatever $this-embedRelation('Question'); } I can't seem to find a way to do this.     Hi all, I am planning on releasing 10 of my song recordings for free but bundled in an iphone app. They are not available on web or itunes or anywhere as of now. I am new to iphone sdk (latest) as you can imagine, so I have been going through the developer documentation, various forums and stackoverflow to learn. Apple's avTouch sample application was a great start. But I want my app to play all the 10 tracks one by one. All the songs are added to resources folder and are named as track1, track2...track10. In the avTouch app code I can see the following 2 parts which is where I think I need to make changes to achieve what I am looking for.     I have a Util package with source files in three seperate directories, defined like so: src/com/domain/util src/Standard/com/domain/util src/Extended/com/domain/util The package is built with the first set of files and either one of the second or third set, to create a total of two different implementations of the same interface. Now, I want to generate javadoc based on those files. How can I specify that? What I really want to do is javadoc com.domain.util -sourcepath ./src;./src/Standard to build the javadoc for the standard util package, and javadoc com.domain.util -sourcepath ./src;./src/Extended to build the javadoc for the extended util package. This doesn't work. The only way I've found so far to actually make it work is to merge the directory structure of the common classes and the Standard classes into another location and run with that for the standard javadoc, then do the same for the Extended package. Is there another way?

I looked at the svn repo url at http://www.liferay.com/web/brian.chan/blog/-/blogs/changes-to-anonymous-access-to-liferay-s-svn and then tried to get Liferay from their SVN repository in Eclipse, using svn://svn.liferay.com/repos/public --username guest,but i get the following error message: Error validating location: "org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException:No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. svn: Cant connect to host 'svn.liferay.com':No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it Any way to fix this ?   • Organizing a project that uses multiple languages?

    I am currently working on a project that has components in perl, .NET, C/C++, and Java. These components are inter-related, but are not tied to the same release schedule. Due to the very different build/testing environment requirements, lumping them all in to the same /bin /src /lib /etc /tests hierarchy is a bit unwieldy. What are some good organizational hierarchies to use in source control when dealing with a project of this nature? I am currently leaning towards each language having its own branch: repo/project1/perl/main/... repo/project1/.NET/main/... repo/project1/Java/main/... How would your recommended hierarchy change if they DID have a tied release schedule?

    Hi everyone, I'm writing a little plugin for imageJ and I am drawing several regions as an overlay on the image. I'm using this code: ImagePlus imp = getImage(); Overlay ov = new Overlay(); for (int r=0; r<regions.length; r++) { ov.add(regions[r]); } imp.setOverlay(ov); Where regions is an array of Roi. This works as intended and draws the regions in the (hurting to my eyes) standard ImageJ cyan used for overlays. I would like to draw one particular region in another colour, but I cannot seem to find a way to do it. I found that you can change the colour of the whole overlay, but I need two colours in the same overlay. Any ideas? Thanks in advance nico

  • Prevent Ninject from calling Initialize multiple times when binding to several interfaces

    Hi We have a concrete singleton service which implements Ninject.IInitializable and 2 interfaces. Problem is that services Initialize-methdod is called 2 times, when only one is desired. We are using .NET 3.5 and Ninject 2.0.0.0. Is there a pattern in Ninject prevent this from happening. Neither of the interfaces implement Ninject.IInitializable. the service class is: public class ConcreteService : IService1, IService2, Ninject.IInitializable { public void Initialize() { // This is called twice! } } And module looks like this: public class ServiceModule : NinjectModule { public override void Load() { this.Singleton<Iservice1, Iservice2, ConcreteService>(); } } where Singleton is an extension method defined like this: public static void Singleton<K, T>(this NinjectModule module) where T : K { module.Bind<K>().To<T>().InSingletonScope(); } public static void Singleton<K, L, T>(this NinjectModule module) where T : K, L { Singleton<K, T>(module); module.Bind<L>().ToMethod(n => n.Kernel.Get<T>()); } Of course we could add bool initialized-member to ConcreteService and initialize only when it is false, but it seems quite a bit of a hack. And it would require repeating the same logic in every service that implements two or more interfaces. Thanks for all the answers! I learned something from all of them! (I am having a hard time to decide which one mark correct). We ended up creating IActivable interface and extending ninject kernel (it also removed nicely code level dependencies to ninject, allthough attributes still remain).

  • Octave: Multiple submatrices from a matrix

    I have a large matrix from which I would like to gather a collection of submatrices. If my matrix is NxN and the submatrix size is MxM, I want to collect I=(N - M + 1)^2 submatrices. In other words I want one MxM submatrix for each element in the original matrix that can be in the top-left corner of such a matrix. Here's the code I have: for y = 1:I for x = 1:I index = (y - 1) * I + x; block_set(index) = big_mat(x:x+M-1, y:y+M-1) endfor endfor The output if a) wrong, and b) implying there is something in the big_mat(x:x+M-1, y:y+M-1) expression that can get me what I want without needing the two for loops.     I am creating a new chart for each row of data in an Excel spreadsheet. I have the Vbasic working properly, but I want to change the position of the chart on the sheet that is added for each row. Below is my code, what do I need to do to change the position of the chart on the page automatically? Ideally, I would like it to be in the upper left hand corner of each sheet.     Hi All, We use the caching and logging application blocks from entlib 4.1. We want to keep the configuration of those two in seperate files. How can we achieve this? It looks like entlib is always using the selectedSource as it configuration.   • Regex matching into multiple groups per line?

    I'm trying to come up with a regex to be able to parse the following type of strings into groups. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]/feed.xml" /> My regular expression is: \[\!(.+)\!\] The problem with this expression is that it seems to pull it all into 1 group: Found 1 match: "[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]" has 1 group: 1. "PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot" I want dont want the regex to continue...am I missing a boundary? Ideally I want it to find 2 groups, [!PageTitle!] and [!SiteRoot!]

The closest I have come to solution is following expression. Valid/Child | Valid//*[self::Container]/Child However, this would select Child element with name attribute equal to Child19 and Child20. Does XPath syntax supports either optional occurrence of an element or setting condition similar to self in previous example to all ancestors between Child and Valid elements?
