  • Visual Studio Freezing/TFS Window Might be off screen

    I am using Visual Studio 2005 with Team Foundation Server. When I right click a file under the source control and choose "compare" VS appears to freeze until I hit escape. My guess is that the window that is supposed to be popping up is somewhere I can't get to. I tried minimizing all the windows that I can and it is nowhere to be found.

    I'm wanting to allow users to enter HTML in only a single textbox. I understand it's possible to change ValidateRequest in the Page directive to false in order to remove protection. I'm guessing that this allows HTML to be entered in any textbox on the page. Is there anyway to apply ValidateRequest=False on only a single control? Thanks for any help.

I want the second number (123) to also be an int; I don't want to convert anything to a string. (And yes, really I should be working with strings.     i have a group of radio buttons that are generated on the fly from the db into a partial control then rendered on the page as html and they all have the same name now in firefox and chrome the following code works fine $(".FlightSelectedRadio").live('click', function() { alert("after flight select"); $("#ToisGarantueedBid").attr("disabled", false); }); however in ie it doesnt work on the first select of a radio but only fires if u select something else ? any ideas wat the problem is ?

    I am working with WPF TreeView control. I am creating a hierarchical data structure and assigning it to ItemsSource and it will generate TreeviewItems automatically. By default I use IsExpanded of TreeViewItem to true. But in a particular case, I want to set IsExpanded property to false. So that treeview loading doesn't take time to generate all items. How can I set that in code since I don't have reference to TreeViewItem's instance at that time?

    Authorize attribute are good to do some access control base on Action but suppose that I have some UI element in the layout that should note be output unless the user is authorize. I could possibly set some boolean in the ViewBag but that is not the good solution I guess. Somewhere in the Layout.cshtml: @if (ViewBag.IsAuthorized) { <li>@Html.ActionLink("Index", "Admin")</li> } Let me know if there is a better solution. Thanks.

This is my code: decimal trans = trackBar1.Value / 5000 this.Opacity = trans When I try to build it, I get this error: Cannot implicitly convert type 'decimal' to 'double' I tried making trans a double, but then the control doesn't work. This code worked fine for me in VB.NET. What do I need to do differently?
