    Hi, Here's the problem I'm facing : I've got a custom slider that controlls the volume and a label "volume" that I combine together in a liniar Layout to obtain a volume control setting. In the emulator and on a G1 phone these look pretty ok , however , when put on a Xperia mini the label and the slider overlap . What should I do obtain a decent view independent of the device the application runs ?

Now what I want to do is when users clicks on the button, i want to pass the value in the textbox to Page1 and do something.     Is there a way to resize a control, a JTextfield for example, at runtime in java? I want my textfield to have the resize cursors (just like when you point your cursor on the corner of a window) and will be able to resize on runtime. Ive read on the internet that vb6 and C# have those capabilities, is there anything for java? A sample code or a link to a good tutorial will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Microsoft JScript runtime error: ASPx is undefined

    I'm getting this error all over the place in my web application and trying to figure out why. The error is always for some control, ASPxClientTextBox for example. So far the only thing I've found as a potential fix is to check the httphandlers section of the .net web.config (the one in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\web.config) and make sure an entry for "WebResource.axd" exists, which it does. Any idea's what's going on or where I should look?

  • What's the best way to tell if the mouse is over a form or not?

    I figured out how to capture mouse clicks over the entire form, but this method doesn't translate well for MouseEnter and MouseLeave. My form layout is made up from many Panels and TableLayoutPanels so there's no all-encompassing control I can monitor events for, and obviously a MouseLeave event for a button doesn't mean the cursor left the entire form. Has anyone figured out a good way to get around this?

    Hi everybody, Having some trouble sending properly formatted HTML e-mail from a PHP script. I am running PHP 5.3.0 and Apache 2.2.11 on Windows XP Professional. The output looks like this: Agent Summary for Support on Tuesday April 20 2010=20 Ext. Name Time Volume 137 Agent Name 01:27:25 1 138 =09 00:00:00 0 139 =09 00:00:00 0 You see the =20 and =09 in there? If you look at the HTML you also see = signs being turned into =3D. I figure this is a character encoding issue as I read the following at Wikipedia: ISO-8859-1 and Windows-1252 confusion It is very common to mislabel text data with the charset label ISO-8859-1, even though the data is really Windows-1252 encoded. In Windows-1252, codes between 0x80 and 0x9F are used for letters and punctuation, whereas they are control codes in ISO-8859-1. Many web browsers and e-mail clients will interpret ISO-8859-1 control codes as Windows-1252 characters in order to accommodate such mislabeling but it is not standard behaviour and care should be taken to avoid generating these characters in ISO-8859-1 labeled content. This looks like the problem but I don't know how to fix.   • Connecting to remote mysql database with API

    I am designing a desktop application in C#, which needs to be connected to my online mysql database. I tried to give access in control panel a "%" which means from any IP, but it is not working. May be the hosting provider (bigrock) not allowing that. Alternatively, I am trying to write some code in online on PHP which will get the "sql" as parameter and returns the output as JSON format using json_encode. Is there any alternate methods which is better approach.
