    I have used Ubuntu serval years, and i am trying to install a audio recorder from the terminal, and this i want to work whit ubuntu as default audio recording system in the sound settings menu, and i installed it from the terminal and i had enter: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:osmoma/audio-recorder sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install audio-recorder and it seams installed but how can you set it up as default audio recorder for ubuntu. Can some one please help.

But I'm not sure: what information should I send to the Open-Mesh AP with my login form (it is necessary to encrypt the password?, because if I don't use a secret word to encrypt in my network configuration the RADIUS server complaints about it and in the log shows me some strange characters in the password) I don't know what to do with the "challenge" and "md" parameters in my login splash page.     I tried the answers from previous posts without luck. I'm using ubuntu 10.04.4 and youtube shows a black screen, no video and no sound . I uninstalled adobe flash player closed down and reinstalled but it didn’t help. I have run Mint 13 on the same computer and it will play youtube without a problem. I'm not familier with linux language . Using comands in terminal might make everything terminal if I try!

Our programmer set it up so that the sub-menus are relative to the top of the browser, rather than under the sprite. On the site's sub-pages, the sub-menus appear correctly, but on the home page they appear behind a large rotating graphic. Can someone take a look at http://www.shieldscompany.com/css/nav.css and help me understand how to change this so it works properly?

    I am having trouble using a TP-LINK WN723N wireless USB adapter on my computer which is running Ubuntu 12.04. When I plug the adapter in, the computer automatically picks up a signal from my wireless router but only connects to the internet for a short amount of time before losing the connection. I have searched for additional drivers and have tried running the .exe installation file on the WINE drive with no such luck... Am very new to Ubuntu would love some help! Thanks :-)
