• How can I change my cursor behavior?

  When I am typing, my mouse cursor, if left on the text, will eventually auto-click in whatever space in the the text box I happen to be, causing me to type in the middle of a sentence. Also, the cursor in the text box will frequently stop mid-word and the screen will scroll down all of a sudden when pressing the space bar while typing. My question is, how do I change this behavior because it is driving me absolutely bat crap crazy. I have an Acer Aspire One D257 Netbook. I am not sure if it's a Xubuntu problem because it does this while I am using Windows 7 too. Any help would be nice, thanks!

  I have a variable MediaElement variable named TestAudio in my Silverlight app. When I click the button, it plays the audio correctly. But when I click the button again, it does not play the audio. How can I make the MediaElement play a second time?   I've got a WinForms form that contains an ElementHost control (which contains a WPF UserControl) and a Save button. In the WPF UserControl I've got a text box with some validation on it. • JSF : able to do mass update but unable to update a single row in a datatable

  I have a simple data object: Car. I am showing the properties of Car objects in a JSF datatable. If i display the properties using inputText tags, i am able to get the modified values in the managed bean. However i just want a single row editable. So have placed a edit button in a separate column and inputText and outputText for every property of Car. the edit button just toggles the rendering of inputText and outputText. Plus i placed a update button in a separate column which is used to save the updated values. However on clicking the update button, i still get the old values instead of the modified values. This would mean multiple Like buttons on the page, one per activity. Can this be done? Can the Like button's url include #!state1 ? • OnmouseMove not work with SetTimeOut and Alerts in Chome

  What's wrong with this code? It works in IE and FireFox, but Chrome does not work. The idea is that the function fnTimeOut will be triggered in 5 seconds after onmousemove. It´s ok. But when, in Chrome, I click on the button "ok" to function fnAlert is triggered instantly. • [JOGL] My program is too slow, how can I profile with Eclipse?

  My simple opengl program is really toooo slow and not fluid. I'm rendering 30 sphere with simple illumination and simple materials. The only complex computing stuff I do is a collision detection between ray-mouse and spheres (that works ok and i do it only in mouseMoved) I'm not using any threads, just an animator to move spheres. How can I profile my jogl project? Or maybe (most probable...) I have some opengl instructions that I don't understand and make render particular accurate (or back face rendering that I don't need or whatever I don't know exactly I'm just entering the opengl world)

  Consider a single button. At one extreme, we have a black OpenGL window, with: outline (in white) of a rectangle bitmap remdered font inside of it, saying "Ok" At the other extreme, we have Mac OS X, a button that is: well rounded has some gradient showing light effects on it nice antialiased "OK" soft shadow of some sort These two UIs present very very different user experiences. The former says "This is from the 80s" the latter says "this is professional". This is something I do not understand well as a programmer (and don't know where to learn about this). Does anyone know of a good technical resource for this? [I'd prefer things that draws upon psychology / perception literature to say why to do something rather than design books that just says "use color XYZ with a gradient of blah"]

• How to make TWebBrower ignore accelerator chars of others controls?

  I have a TWebBrowser placed on a form with the designMode enabled. Bellow the browser I have a close button with the Caption setted to 'Clos&e'. When I am editing the contents of a document inside the WebBrowser and I press the key E the button close is called. It appears that it is treating TWebBrowser like other controls that don't handle keys (e.g. TButton). How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

  Hi All, I am reading an xml file using javascript and then I need to submit my form so that it calls a particular method in my JSF handler. Usually this can be done on a jsp when user clicks a button by having an actionlistener like so: <h:commandLink styleClass="button" action="#{myHandler.outcome}" actionListener="#{myHandler.doNext}"> <span><h:outputText value="#{text.button_submit}" /></span> </h:commandLink> I am not sure how to call a method like 'doNext' above in the handler from javascript. I cannot do a simple: document.form.submit(); as it then repeats the processing i have already done. I want to read values from an xml file and then call a particular method in handler. Any ideas much appreciated.

  I have a simple search php script, within that script there is some html and javascript to make a search input field and a button. What i am trying to do is when someone enters a search, and presses submit, thickbox opens, and the results will be displayed in the thickbox. What i have so far is the search field and button, when i press submit, it briefly shows the thickbox, and than is overloaded by the result page, but than with no search results. • kile does not get keyboard input, respond to Alt+F

  I use 11.10 with Unity. I use two kde apps a lot - kile and kate. Since the latest upgrade, I have observed two problems: a] I can never use Alt+F to select the file menu (works with other apps), yet when I press Alt, kile's menu comes up in the status bar. b] A few times every day, while using kile (haven't used kate as much recently), the keyboard stops responding (just in the 'editor' portion, rather than in structure-tree navigation). I cannot enter any text, but mouse works fine. I usually restart kile to continue working. One inconsistent way to reproduce it (multiple times today): I cut text from one open document using Ctrl-X switched to another document in the same kile window using Ctrl-Tab, then this happened. c] Sometimes, in kate, I can type in the editor but the keyboard won't work in the 'File open dialog'. How do I fix the above?

Now i want to implement 3 things once he clicks the button 'log out' he must be redirected to a page saying" logged out successfully " n even if clicks the back button in the browser, he should not be able to access. if the user leaves the homepage idle for a specific amount of time say 10minutes and then he tries to navigate after 10 mins a msg should display saying "Your Session has been expired login again" if given the url of homepage he shouldnt be able to access unless logged in. • Bastion on ubuntu 12.04 64bit black screen

  I just downloaded the Humblebundle with bastion. After installing Bastion and starting it up, only a blank screen shows the the mouse arrow. I can here the sound fine. I read a message board that recommended starting it with -windowed -x 1280 -y 720 which does not work. I am on ubuntu 12.04 64 bit, with a intel 3000 integrated graphics card. Does anyone know how I can get this to work properly? thank you.

Most companies within this industry have saturated North America (NA) with their products thus maximizing their NA growth potential. Future growth is expected to come from either expansion outside of North America and/or by way of new ideas and products. Innovation plays an integral role in both of these strategies, whether you’re innovating business processes or the products themselves, and may cause several challenges for the typical CP company, Becoming more innovative is both an art and a science. Most CP companies are very good at the art of coming up with new innovative ideas, but many struggle with perfecting the science aspect that involves the best practice processes that help companies quickly turn ideas into sellable products and services. Symptoms and Causes of Business Pain Struggles associated with the science of innovation show up in a variety of ways, like: · Establishing and storing innovative product ideas and data · Funneling these ideas to the chosen few · Time to market cycle time and on-time launch rates · Success rates, or how often the best idea gets chosen · Imperfect decision making (i.e. the ability to kill projects that are not projected to be winners) · Achieving financial goals · Return on R&D investment · Communicating internally and externally as more outsource partners are added globally · Knowing your new product pipeline and project status These challenges (and others) can be consolidated into three root causes: A lack of visibility Poor data with limited access The inability to truly collaborate enterprise-wide throughout your extended value chain Choose the Right Remedy Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions are uniquely designed to help companies solve these types challenges and their root causes. The right PLM solution should help you: Increase Revenue. A best practice PLM solution should help a company grow its revenues by consolidating product development cycle-time and helping companies get new and improved products to market sooner. PLM should also eliminate many of the root causes for a product being returned, refused and/or reclaimed (which takes away from top-line growth) by creating an enterprise-wide, collaborative, workflow-driven environment. Reduce Costs. A strong PLM solution should help shave many unnecessary costs that companies typically take for granted. Rationalizing SKU’s, components (ingredients and packaging) and suppliers is a major opportunity at most companies that PLM should help address.
