It is a framework developed by Microsoft on which we can develop new generation web sites using web forms(aspx), MVC, HTML, Javascript, CSS etc. Its successor of Microsoft Active Server Pages(ASP). Currently there is ASP.NET 4.0, which is used to develop web sites. There are various page extensions provided by Microsoft that are being used for web site development. Eg: aspx, asmx, ascx, ashx, cs, vb, html, xml etc. 2. What’s the use of Response.Output.Write()? We can write formatted output  using Response.Output.Write(). 3. In which event of page cycle is the ViewState available?   After the Init() and before the Page_Load(). 4. What is the difference between Server.Transfer and Response.Redirect?   In Server.Transfer page processing transfers from one page to the other page without making a round-trip back to the client’s browser.  This provides a faster response with a little less overhead on the server.  The clients url history list or current url Server does not update in case of Server.Transfer. Response.Redirect is used to redirect the user’s browser to another page or site.  It performs trip back to the client where the client’s browser is redirected to the new page.  The user’s browser history list is updated to reflect the new address. 5.     We had recently had a vendor switch to a fortinet firewall. We were given the FortinetSLVPNclient (version 4.0.2148) to use. This has some simple command line switches that allow you to connect from the commandline (cmd.exe this is on windows) but they seem to do nothing. Anyone have any luck with this or any alternative ssl vpn clients with scriptable installers? I have been through the documentation on the site and have seen my hopes dashed.

    Hi, I want to know if it's possible to disable the warning you get in Chrome when you try to go to some HTTPS site that doesn't have a trusted certificate. I have a few sites in my bookmarks that use HTTPS but none of them have trusted certificates, so each time I visit them I manually have to click "Proceed anyway" in the warning and it's getting kind of annoying. Is there any way to disable the warning or somehow add these sites to some kind of safe list? Thanks

  • Remove expired PXE certificates from SCCM

    Our SCCM 2007 R2 environment, which runs in native mode, just had its PXE client certificates renewed. Now, the site server automatically blocks the old certificates, but it appears that there is no functionality to actually delete them. I know it doesn't really affect anything other than aesthetics, but as we've had a few renewals now, the certificate list is getting long and cluttered (and unlike my desk, I like to try to keep our servers neat and organized). Does anyone know of a way to remove the old certs?

    I am getting a 500.19 error when going to my site. I've tried to change the permissions on the directory but for some reason since about 2hrs ago the IIS_IUSRS group is completely gone now. I think I messed it up, how can I fix this? Update: I found the group, it just wasn't added to the inetpub folder, but now when I go to the website: www.example.com it forces you to login. I'm new to this web admin think I would GREATLY appreciate any help.

    I accidentally ordered KVR16N11/8 instead of KVR16N11H/8 and I'm wondering if I'm going to have compability issues with my Intel DP67DE motherboard. When searching for compatible RAM on Kingstons site for that motherboard the KVR16N11H/8 RAM was one of the compatible ones. The KVR16N11/8 did not show up as compatible for that motherboard. The only difference I can see is that they have different physical height, or am I missing something?

It then causes a 500 error. Google hasn't returned anything conclusive, has anybody come across these errors ?

    I am trying to add a new member to our DFS topology. We have 3 DCs (VMs - VMware) running Windows server 2012, two servers are located in or Primary site and the third at our DR site. Currently the two servers at our primary site are currently replicating DFS (full mesh) and are working fine.     I am using Webalizer to view my site stats, and it's working ok with one exception; I have log rolling configured so my log directory looks something like this: :/var/log/apache2$ ls access.log access.log.1 access.log.2.gz access.log.3.gz ... Webalizer ends up only storing the last ~4 days each time it runs, so I only ever get a rolling window of stats rather than the full month. How can I make Webalizer process the full set of logs?

  • Forefront TMG vs pfSense

    We currently run pfSense with no problems, however we are looking at TMG as it is included in our partner subscription to MS and allows Windows 7 DirectConnect features to our domain for off-site users. I have had a google, but there don't seem to be any comparisons of TMG to pfSense. Anyone have experience/knowledge of this? Our infrastructure is Windows Server 2008 R2 behind pfSense at the moment.

    We have an IIS 7 hosted site that requires client certificates (two-way ssl). Unfortunately, I don't have access to the trusted certificate store on the host machines, and so I was forced to write a custom http module to verify the certificates. My module never gets a chance to do the authentication, however, because IIS doesn't recognize the certificates and responds with a 403.7 error. How do I turn off client certificate validation, while still requiring clients to provide them?
