How to pass php output to this function ? Inputing in .html('') above doesnt solve anything. Please help.

  • How to make TinyMCE work inside an UpdatePanel?

    I'm trying to do something that many people seem to have been able to do but which I am unable to implement any solution. The TinyMCE control works pretty well in an asp.net form until you enclose it with an UpdatePanel, which then breaks after postback. I have tried some fixes like the RegisterClientScriptBlock method, but am still unsuccessful, I still lose the tinyMCE control after postback. Below is a full test project (VS 2008) provided with a Control outside UpdatePanel and one inside, with a button on each to generate postback. Also in the project I have a EditorTest control which include commented code of some calls I tried, in case it gives anyone any ideas.   • Having trouble animating Line in D3.js using and array of objects as data

    I can't seem to get an animated transition between line graphs when I pass in a new set of data.   • How can I run a local Windows Application and have the output be piped into the Browser.

    I have Windows Application (.EXE file is written in C and built with MS-Visual Studio), that outputs ASCII text to stdout. I’m looking to enhance the ASCII text to include limited HTML with a few links. I’d like to invoke this application (.EXE File) and take the output of that application and pipe it into a Browser. This is not a one time thing, each new web page would be another run of the Local Application! The HTML/java-script application below has worked for me to execute the application, but the output has gone into a DOS Box windows and not to pipe it into the Browser.   • Unknown address suggestion

    Usually when you try to add a marker to an unknown/ambiguous address you just get an error from the api. It would be much nicer if i could display a list of suggestions related to the address that was not found. The Google maps site has this feature but i do not know how to do with the api. Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to fix slow scrolling when using webkit-transform and relative positioning on the iphone

    I have implemented scrolling of a div by using relative positioning and webkit animation for the iphone, it works beautifully on desktop safari but is choppy on the actual iphone (fine on the simulator). The scrolling works by having a div nested and clipped (overflow:hidden) by its parent. I then set the top position and animate it with -webkit style declarations. The iphone seems to noticeably slow down when there are a lot of items in the inner div. Any ideas how make the scrolling smoother? This was a problem with iScroll code and my own hand coded stuff.

    I am using phpbb on a site for a client, and the client has requested that each different forum page have a different background color. Such functionality is not built into phpbb (from what I can tell), so how should I go about doing this? Can I modify the code of phpbb directly? My other thought was to use a js conditional statement, but seeing as the only difference on the forums page would be the page title, I don't know how I could format this.

    I am using execCommand command to 'Hilite' selected text on the page which is rendered with gecko engine/gtkmozembed. if ( !document.execCommand("HiliteColor", false, colour) ) { document.execCommand("BackColor", false, colour); } This is working fine with HTML pages. But i have some XML pages( books in xml format). execCommand is not working for those XML pages. It gives warning like TypeError: document.execCommand is not a function How can i make execCommand works on XML? Thanks.

    Hi, I have to use a Virtual(on screen) keyboard on a asp:textbox which has a AjaxControlToolkit's automcomplete attached to it, the virtual keyboard I use is the jQuery keypad plug in: http://keith-wood.name/keypadRef.html , but I have some problems with combining these two: Typing in the virtual keyboard does not trigger the Autocomplete list. When the textbox has autopostback=true if you click anything on virtual keyboard the textbox loses its focus and posts the form.

    I'm no good at Regular Expressions, really! I would like to specifically detect WebKit browsers below version 525. I have a regular expression [/WebKit\/[\d.]+/.exec(navigator.appVersion)] that correctly returns WebKit/5….…, really, I'd like it to return only the version number, but if the browser isn't WebKit, return null, or better still 0. For example, if the browser was Trident, Presto or Gecko, return null, whereas if the browser is WebKit, return it's version number. To clarify, I would like the regular expression to check if navigator.appVersion contains WebKit and if it does not, return null, if it does, return the version number. I appreciate all your help! Please let's keep this focused, let's not flirt with jQuery or the sort, it's overkill in this scenario.

    I want a widget that allows users to add a request if that request hasnt already been added, or vote for a request if it has already been added. when a user adds a request, i want it to immediately appear as the first element of the list, like what would happen to your timeline if you made new tweet. ive tried to look for a jquery plugin that offers this functionality, but i was unsuccessful (maybe i couldnt think of the right terms to search for??). i dont have enough faith in my js skills to write this from scratch, so id rather find a template to start with.     Hello. I am working for an intranet application. Therefore I have some control on the client machines. The Java Script library I am using is somewhat big in size. I would like to pre-install OR pre-load OR cache the Java Script library on each machine (each browser as well) so that it does not travel for each request. I know that browsers do cache a Java Script library for subsequent requests but I would like the library to be cached once so all subsequent requests, sessions and users. What is the best mechanism to achieve this?
