  I have an account (domian1.com) with the an addon domain (domain2.com) that matches the primary domain (domain2.com) of a separate account. I believe it was created renaming the primary domain of the second account. I want to delete the addon domain from domain1.com. However when I try i get the error: Error from park wrapper: Sorry, you do not control the domain domain2.com Ive tried all the methods in other forum posts and have been unable to successfully remove the addon domain and subdomain from domain1.com.   Okay, so this is my scenario and what I want to try and do. I maintain a Red Hat email server running qmail and spamassassin. I have a domain that has well over 100 email account each with individual settings for spam scores and, whether or not to delete email incoming mail deemed spam. What I want to accomplish is to change all those email email accounts to say a more stringent spam score value, AND to enable the deletion of email immediately as it flagged as such, for EACH AND EVERY email box. In short, I want to be able to override a user's individual settings spam settings, with my own. Short of tediously going into each and every email box one by one, is there an way to do this all in one fell swoop? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :-)

• Can't Delete Old Windows Directory

  I got a new SSD drive for my computer, and have installed Windows on this drive. This left an old Windows directory on my old normal drive. I am now attempting to delete this old Windows directory, but am getting blocked by security. If I crawl down into each subdirectory, I can manually change the ownership and access rights for each file, but if I attempt to do it from the root directory, I get a "Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied" error. I have tried logging in as local Administrator, but this had the same effect. I figure that I am missing something stupid, but I just can't determine what it is.

• Make my git user and apache user have read/write/delete access

  I am having permission problems on my server. I use user developer to pull my git repository on the server. Then apache uses its own apache user to do write and execute code. I always have the problems when the app wants to write something in the directory (i.e: log files, and cache ...) if I execute a cron job and it uses my developer rights and wants to add something to the folders that is written by apache. My question is how to have my developer have the same write/delete access as my apache and avoid permission conflicts with each other? I am not fluent on linux command so, it would help if you could provide links or simply examples of doing so. thanks.

• Dreamweaver Delete Space to Word, Not Word

  There's a built in DW keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Del) that deletes up to AND INCLUDING the first word to the right. I used to use the ColdFusion Studio app for coding and it would just remove the space UP TO the word (left the word or bracket, or whatever alone.) Any DW users know if this is a setting that can be changed? I'm really used to the old behavior and keep deleting the first word, hitting Ctrl + Z to put it back and then having to manually delete all the spaces to leave the word... Hoping one of you geniuses can help! Thanks, D.

I works great currently, but I would like to add some security: People from LAN should be able to Read files present and Add new ones, but not delete files. I want to keep this privilege for me ;-) How should-I do this? I have set up a "admin" account having full access even to deletion. There is just left to configure the "guest" acount. Google isn't helping that much right now...

• SBS 2008 Duplicate Files - what can I delete

  I'm trying to look after my company's SBS 2008 server. It keeps running out of space on the C: (OS)drive, so Exchange stops when it gets down to 4Gb free space. From what I can tell after the last time I had a consultant in to fix it, there should comfortably be about 20Gb. Running a duplicate files report gives me a huge list of duplicated files, and identifies just how much space they are hogging. But my question is, which ones can I delete to recover the space? Can I tell, from what's shown on the report, the files that are redundant and can safely be deleted?

I cannot because inside this folder there is another folder called: T4 Code generation and Misc. • How to quickly empty a very full recycle bin?

  I have deleted about half a million files from a folder, and didn't think to press Shift in order to delete them completely straight away. Now they're clogging my recycle bin, and Windows claims it will take 4 hours to empty it - it claims to do about 68 files per second. Is there some magic or an alternative method that can speed this up? Bounty - I'm starting a bounty. The files are still in my bin, as there was no pressing need to get rid of them and this way, I can try out the suggestions presented. I am, however, looking for a way that does not include hard-deleting the contents of the RECYCLER folder - I'm sure that would work, but it feels a bit unclean to me.

  I'm creating a bash script which reboots the system at each reboot it adds a new line to a text file, I then read the text file before each reboot. Once the variable holding the number of lines reaches say 10 I want the script to delete the text file (at which point on the next reboot it will see the file isn't there, brake the loop and promote the user to start again).   Didnt notice this being asked so here i am. I have a problem with specific registry key: NvCplDaemon"="RUNDLL32.EXE C:\\Windows\\system32\\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup" Problem is that i have tried many variations of the reg file like: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "NvCplDaemon"=-"RUNDLL32.EXE C:\\Windows\\system32\\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup" and Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] "NvCplDaemon"=-"RUNDLL32.EXE C:\\Windows\\system32\\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup" And they all seemingly complete but the key remains.It is not locked or something.I can delete and recreate it manually any time.Im guessing there is some small spelling error on my file because i think i have followed MS instructions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310516 This is how it looks in Registry: Someone?

• Custom Filter in cPanel to Auto-Delete Emails with Russian Characters

  I get a lot of spam to my email account from Russia. The emails themselves (name, subject, body) are in Russian and I was hoping to create a custom filter in cPanel (not in SpamAssassin but in cPanel itself) to catch these emails and delete them before they hit my inbox. I've tried setting up rules to flag emails with these characters but they still are getting through. This leads me to believe that there is an encoding issue at play here. Unfortunately I do not know how to overcome this. Ideas?

  How does the Ubuntu trash work? It appears that one trash bin is used by many drives. I've noticed a folder called ".Trash-1000" on my network drive as well as "/home/user/.local/share/Trash". Currently I have a problem where a number of files I deleted from a network drive (which I no longer have full access to) appear in my trash but but cannot be deleted, I see the error "Failed to delete the item from the trash". If I look at the files in this network drive trash I notice that it contains all of these undeletable files. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 x64.

• Deleting large no of files on linux eats up CPU

  I generate more than 50GB of cache files on my RHEL server (and typical file size is 200kb so no of files is huge). When I try to delete these files it takes 8-10 hours. However, the bigger issue is that the system load goes to critical for these 8-10 hours. Is there anyway where I can keep the system load under control during the deletion. I tried using nice -n19 rm -rf * but that doesn't help in system load. P.S. I asked the same question on superuser.com but didn't get a good enough answer so trying here.

I hope to delete all these from my hard disk, but it's a feature yet to implement in Songbird. The most close solution I could get is this. But it works not well, and always messes files around.   Hello, I want to delete old windows directory from my system drive (C) , but I am unable to due NTFS perms.I tried from Win 7 and Win 2003, but can't do it. I tried safe mode as well with same result. I there any way to work around this (other then formating the drive)? Perhaps changing the owner or something? It errors at files like "oldwin/bfsvc.exe". Is there some "superuser" in windows similar to linux root account? Thanks

• USB Wireless keyboards not registering Ctrl Alt Delete when computer boots

  I've recently installed a new PC at work. Its a Dell Optiplex 9010. I bought a USB wireless keyboard and mouse from Dell and subsequently from Logitech to use with this PC. The Dell keyboard is a model KM632 and the logitech is an mk260. Both units work properly and have decent range. The issue is when the PC boots they keyboard (neither model) will register a Ctrl+Alt+Delete to the PC. I can say for sure the keyboards are still functional as the media keys will still produce a result (notably the sleep key on the mk260). My gut reaction is I'm dealing with an issue in the PC or Windows. I'm not sure where to start though. If I unplug and reinsert the USB dongle both units will work. Also, I don't use both they keyboards at the same time I bought the Logitech fearing the Dell unit was bad. Any ideas would be appreciated.

• What causes memcache to delete keys?

  Our memcache install recently started removing keys, and we're not sure why. Large groups of keys vanish at the same time. Memcache reports that evictions are low to non-existent, and our app has no way to clear memcache (it can only delete specific keys). Even keys of which the app has no knowledge get deleted, so we're pretty convinced they're getting expired. However, our memcache configuration hasn't been touched in some time. Has anyone debugged an issue like this before, and if so, are there any steps you'd recommend we take? How flexible is memcache's expiration policy - is it possible that we're suddenly running into a criterion based on (say) write frequency to a key?

• Can't delete keyboard shortcut set for a .ink file

  So, I installed the Chrome App Launcher on my PC (now on Win8.1) a few weeks ago, and, as I use it very often, I wanted to assign a keyboard shortcut for it. So, I right-clicked the icon on my desktop, and I assigned Ctrl+Alt+<. The problem is... I moved the shortcut to my taskbar, and suddenly noticed that when I wanted to write the "\" (on a Belgian keyboard), it launched the Chrome App Launcher, which is very annoying. I wanted to change it back, but I can't... I deleted the taskbar shortcut, but the keyboard shortcut still launches the App Launcher. I also tried creating a new shortcut with the same association, hoping that it would crush the existing one, but it didn't work. I searched on Google for similar issues, and I couldn't find any... x~x So... How can I delete this shortcut association..?

• Unable to delete Gmail profile in Outlook 2010

  I used to have 2 Gmail profiles set up in Outlook 2010. I initially had it set up using IMAP, but I deleted it (or so I thought), and re-set it up the old-fashioned way without IMAP. Then finally, I deleted the 2nd Gmail profile altogether. So now I only have ONE Gmail profile set up in Outlook 2010 and it works fine. The problem is that the original Gmail IMAP folder for the 2nd Gmail account is still in my list of folders when I use Outlook. I've already disabled IMAP via my Google Gmail account. But I am unable to delete the folder from Outlook 2010. I have checked in the account settings and it is NOT in my list of email profiles or the data files. Has anyone else had this problem?

• Folders disappear every timeWindows XP starts up

  Whenever my Windows XP machine starts up, subfolders disappear from the first top-level folder, listed alphabetically (eg. from "C:\AA Backups"). The first time it happened I suspected user error (such as an unintentional delete or copy). But I then found it happens on every start-up, sometimes affecting huge numbers of files. Renaming the affected folder (eg to "ZZ Backups") just means that a different folder is affected the next time. Avast found no virus or malware that would seem to be responsible. The missing files are not visible to an undelete utility such as NTFSUndelete. Running "chkdsk/f" found no problems and did not fix the problem. File permissions also appear corrupted - a few files which should be accessible are missing "read" permission. What's happened to this machine?? Any ideas or reports of similar experiences would be most welcome.
