• How to compare page views/visitors to site totals in Google Analytics?

  I want to measure the effects in total traffic (views or visitors) of a single URL across a time frame. For example, let's say I published a blog post on July 2012. I want to measure what chunk of the site's total traffic is coming to this particular post on a month-by-month graph from July 2012 to date. Is there a way to do this? Edit: I should clarify that what I'd like to do is to generate a month-to-month graph, similar to the one you can see comparing a metric on a period of time against the previous equivalent period (year vs last year, for example) but comparing a particular URL traffic to the site's total traffic. In other words, I can get to the part where I can see the URL's traffic for the timeframe I selected and it shows how much of the total traffic corresponds to the current URL: But I'd like to add a second line to the graph, representing the site's total pageviews, similiar to this (but this one is showing just a different metric for the same URL): Thanks!

• Variable-step update() in game loop is falling behind, how can I get around this?

  I'm working on a minimal game engine for my next game. I'm using the delta update method like shown: void update(double delta) { // Update code that uses `delta` goes here } I have a deep hierarchy of updatable objects, with a root updatable that contains several updatables, each of which contains more updatables, etc. Normally I'd just iterate through each of the root's children and update each one, which would then do the same for its children, and so on. However, passing a fixed value of delta to the root means that by the time the leaf updatables are reached, it's been longer since delta seconds that have elapsed. This is causing noticable desyncing in my game, and time synchronization is very important in my case (I'm working on a rhythm game). Any ideas on how I should tackle this? I've considered using StopWatches and a global readable timer, but any advice would be helpful. I'm also open to moving to fixed timesteps as opposed to variable.

  I am in the process of choosing a domain name for a personal project. I have found a very good one (let's say it is "myproject.com") but it is very close to another existing domain name ("smyproject.com"). Only the first letter is different. This website has a very different activity from mine. My question is: is it bad for SEO? When someone will type "myproject" in a search engine, is there a risk that the first result will be "smyproject.com" if this website has better SEO than mine? Thanks for your help!

In this talk, I discussed a Master/Detail application that runs on Android 2.2 devices and forward. I used the Actionbar compat Android library to allow the older devices to have an actionbar. I also used a SQLite database for my data. And just to add one last thing, I also incorporated the use of custom fonts. If you are interesting in looking at this sample application, I have uploaded it to my GitHub account here. • Unable to install Xdebug

  I've registered xdebug in php.ini (as per http://xdebug.org/docs/install) but it's not showing up when i run "php -m" or when i get a test page to run "phpinfo()". I've just installed the latest version of XAMPP. Can anyone provide any suggestions in getting xdebug to show up?   I just inherited code that I'm attempting to run the migrations for but I keep getting a rake aborted error. I've come across others that have what appears to be similar issues, but most involved Heroku and I'm trying to run this locally (to start.) I've tried troubleshooting using both PostgreSQL and SQLite, and both produce the same issue. The table "roles" referenced is the second migration called, so I'm having a hard time figuring out what is causing it to not get built. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. My debugger is nicely running upto ** session.getTransaction().commit();** code. but after that debugger stops,I do not know why it stops after that line? .And because of this i am unable to insert my data into my database table.   I'm using the Kendo UI ComboBoxes in cascade mode to build up a filter that I wish to apply. How do I clear/reset the value of a Kendo UI ComboBox? • Starting an animation from the ViewModel in WPF/MVVM

  I'm writing a MVVM app and have started putting in a few animations. I want to call something on the ViewModel which starts the a storyboard. This blog had a promising approach to it, but it doesn't actually work. The IDChanged handler never fires for some reason. I also found that you could start animations on EventTriggers, but I don't know how to raise one on the ViewModel.
