  How can I use/setup Tier Pricing with Configurable Products? (Magento 1.4+) There was an extension to do this but I think it is only for Magento 1.3. Tried to setup tiers in my Simple Products, but those do not show up, or do not activate when I add to cart from my Config Product page. Any help is appreciated! Thanks. • How to stop Interruptible Threads in Java

  I have a Java application that I CAN'T EDIT that starts a Thread wich has this run method: public void run(){ while(true){ System.out.println("Something"); } } And at a certain moment I wanna stop it, but if I use thread.interrupt(); it won't work. If I use thread.stop(); it works, but this method is deprecated and its use is discouraged because soon it will be removed from JVM. Does anyone knows how to do it? Thank you.

My understanding is that dictionaries have values for each object. I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms.

• Send 404 when requesting index.php through .htaccess?

  I've recently refactored an existing CodeIgniter application to use url segments instead of query strings, and I'm using a rewriterule in htaccess to rewrite stuff to index.php: RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L] My problem right now is that a lot of this website's pages are indexed by google with a link to index.php. Since I made the change to use url segments instead, I don't care about these google results anymore and I want to send a 404 (no need to use 301 Move permanently, there have been enough changes, it'll just have to recrawl everything). To get to the point: How do I redirect requests to /index.php?whatever to a 404 page? I was thinking of rewriting to a non-existent file that would cause apache to send a 404. Would this be an acceptable solution? How would the rewriterule for that look like? edit: Currently, existing google results will just cause the following error: An Error Was Encountered The URI you submitted has disallowed characters.

  I have a Sql Database (which I have no control over the schema) that has a Column that will have the varchar value of "Yes", "No", or it will be null. For the purpose of what I am doing null will be handled as No. I am programming in c# net 3.5 using a data table and table adapter to pull the data down. I would like to directly bind the column using a binding source to a check box I have in my program however I do not know how or where to put the logic to convert the string Yes/No/null to boolean True/False; Reading a null from the SQL server and writing back a No on a update is acceptable behavior. Any help is greatly appreciated. EDIT -- This is being developed for windows.

• How do I mount a virtual filesystem in a folder?

  I implemented a virtual filesystem using Dokan. I tried to set the drive letter to C but it errors every time. I was wondering if there is a different virtual filesystem which will allow me to do that or if there is a way of fixing it. Is there some windows api call which will allow me to remount the filesystem in a folder? Thanks!!! EDIT: The windows manager does not list the virtual drive, so I cannot mount it through the usual Windows interface. Also, I tried to change the drive name through the property interface and it wouldnt let me do that either.

  I am about to start a project (.NET) and need to decide between TFS and SVN. I am more used to SVN(with tortoise client), CVS and VSS. Does TFS have all features available in SVN Have any of you switched from SVN to TFS and found it worthwhile? Also it looks like we may need Visual Studio if we need to work with TFS. [Edit] Money is not a consideration since we already have the licenses for TFS in place.   My code involves standard Scroll Bar control and it happens that I need to change its value programmatically in some cases. I do this using SetScrollInfo function, as in this example: void setScrollBarValue( HWND scrollBar, int value ) { SCROLLINFO si = { sizeof( SCROLLINFO ); } si.fMask = SIF_POS; si.nPos = value; ::SetScrollInfo( scrollBar, SB_CTL, &si, true /* redraw */ ); } This appears to work fine (the thumb of the scrollbar moves around) but it fails to notify the rest of the application of the new scrollbar value. For instance, an edit control which uses the scroll bar (much like in the Windows notepad application) fails to scroll around because it doesn't get notified about the new scrollbar value. In case it matters: the scrollbar I'm modifying is not in the same process as the above setScrollBarValue function. Does anybody know how to achieve this?

  Since the GUI-side of OSX treats all dot-files (such as .htaccess) as hidden, it doesn't display them in any of the graphical UI:s, e.g. Finder or the Open-dialogues. How can I open a dot-file (.htaccess in this case) in a graphical editor, without doing that thing for all hidden files, universally and without going through Terminal.app? Edit: I'm on Leopard, if that makes a difference. Edit2: TextWrangler and TextMate seem to have features that allow you to open hidden files, which partly answers my question.

When I split this string: 9 x 13 = (8.9 x 13.4) (89 x 134) with ( +) I get: part 0: 9 x 13 = (8.9 x 13.4) part 1: (89 x 134) When I split it with (=) I get: part 0: 9 x 13 part 1: (8.9 x 13.4) (89 x 134) How can split by BOTH? I want to be able to long press anywhere on a the table row to be able to get some options to delete or edit etc. Is this possible? Remember I need to do all this without setting any XML as its dynamically built.   I'm trying to bing collection to DataGridView. As it turns out it's impossible for user to edit anything in this DataGridView although EditMode is set to EditOnKeystrokeOrF2. Here is the simplified code: public Supplies() { InitializeComponent(); List<string> l = new <string>(); l.Add("hello"); this.SuppliesDataGridView.DataSource = l; } It also doesn't work when I change collection type to SortableBindingList, Dictionary or even use BindingSource. What can be wrong here?

  What I want to realize is the following: In a JSP x I have a 3 dropdownlists and a button called edit when user click this button a table dynamically should be displayed. Now this table is modified correponding the values in those 3 dropdownlists. So it can be 3 cols or 4 cols or even 6 cols, it depends on the selected values. So what I tried is to use the servlet to getParameter doing the if clause construct the html and then forward the response. Have you any the suggestion of the structure that I can use in JSP? In case 1), expected result is 1. If c is added to the second table then the expected result is 2. In case 2), expected result is no record since neither of the subsets in the first table matches the subset in the second table. If c is added to the second table then the expected result is 1, 2. I've tried using except and intersect to compare subsets of first table with the second table, which works fine, but it takes too long on the intersect part and I can't figure out why (the first table has about 10.000 records and the second has around 10). EDIT: I've updated the question to provide an extra scenario.

  I have a model called Company which is acts_as_taggable_on. When I am /SHOWing a Company (e.g. company/15) I want to be able to see a form that allows me to add tags. I suppose this would be easier by just allowing at edit but sometimes I want to go back and just add tags. • Resize and center image in html/css?

  Is there a way I can resize, crop, and center an image using html/css only? (img tag or css sprite) For example if I have a 500x500 pixel image, I want to resize that to a 250x250 pixel image I want to make the actual visible image to be 100x100, but still have the scale of a 250x250 sized image. I want the center of the image to be at a location x,y. Is that possible with only html/css, if not, how do you propose I go about it with javascript? Edit - ????: For (2), say my scaled image is now 200x200, and I want my visible image to be 100x100: So I guess what I mean is I want the scale and resolution of the image to be 200x200 but I want the visible image to be 100x100 or in other words the visible image would be at coordinates x,y: 0,0; 0,100; 100,0; 100,100; of the 200x200 image. Sorry, but I'm not good at explaining this.

• PHPUnit test for error thrown with wrong argument type

  I'm just starting with PHPUnit and am ok with all assert* methods, but can't figure out how to test for error thrown when the wrong argument is provided to the method - say hinted with array like so: public function(array $list) { } and then tested with null as argument. Could someone please provide an example of how to test for this sort of errors? I've checked quite a few posts on stackoverflow, but couldn't find the answer to this specific issue. • how to use a non standard tld with android

  I have rooted my android and am able to edit the hosts file to redirect .com and other standard tld's to my local server with no problems. non standard tld's do not work though. eg. my shop orders system is at http://fired.wok which works find on local machines when added to my windows and linux hosts files but is not resolvable from within my android device. I can use firedwok.co.uk) in the hosts file to point to my local machine but I'd much rather have fired.wok to work so I can use an android tablet to enter orders and deliveries. so, how to make android work with a tld like .wok ?

Cannot find symbol.
