• I have this broken php upload script

  I have this script for uploading a image and content from a form, it works in one project but not the other. I have spent a good few hours trying to debug it, I am hoping someone could point out the issue I might be having. Where there are comments is where I have tried to debug. The first error I got was the "echo invalid file" at the beginning of the last comment. With these specific areas commented out the upload name and type that I am supposed to be grabbing from the form is not being echoed, I am thinking this is where the error is occurring, but can't quite seem to find it. So in summary, my question is: How earth can I go about making a template/extension to porting this functionality? I have tried before with templates but always gave up after a day :/ If you could take the time to port the above I would greatly appreciate it.

• Elegant way for a recursive C++ template to do something different with the leaf class?

  I have a C++ class template that makes an Array of pointers. This also gets typedefed to make Arrays of Arrays and so on: typedef Array<Elem> ElemArray; typedef Array<ElemArray> ElemArrayArray; typedef Array<ElemArrayArray> ElemArrayArrayArray; I would like to be able to set one leaf node from another by copying the pointer so they both refer to the same Elem. But I also want to be able to set one Array (or Array of Arrays etc) from another. In this case I don't want to copy the pointers, I want to keep the arrays seperate and descend into each one until I get to the leaf node, at where I finally copy the pointers. I have code that does this (below). When you set something in an Array it calls a CopyIn method to do the copying. But because this is templated it also has to call the CopyIn method on the leaf class, which means I have to add a dummy method to every leaf class that just returns false. I have also tried adding a flag to the template to tell it whether it contains Arrays or not, and so whether to call the CopyIn method. This works fine - the CopyIn method of the leaf nodes never gets called, but it still has to be there for the compile to work! • Why are items being placed below?

  This is really confusing and I have never had this occur. For my computer, it is fine. But for anyone else's computer I have tried, it screws up. So on my site, designatease.com , the second bar down, it places the fifth item down below the first four. I am not sure why it is doing this. I want them to span across the bar but the stop at about half way. Help me out SOF. • z index background issue in IE

  I have a jQuery tools scroller set up with controls managing two separate divs of info - one images, the other related text that needs to sit over the top of the images with a transparent bg image. I am using z-indexing to achieve this and am aware of IE's issues with this but am unable to sort it (tested in IE6-8). Image of the issue below: http://test.shakingpaper.com.au/not_working.png It seems that the overlayed div is taking on the containers white. Try as I might, I can't resolve this. • Xenserver 5.6 SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_47 no such volume group, but it is there

  I've looked everywhere (Google, here, a bunch of other sites), and while I have found people with similar problems, I couldn't find a single one with a solution to this. Last night our xenserver 5.6 box corrupted the /var/xapi/state.db, and I couldn't fix the xml, no matter what I did. After a good hour fiddling with the file, I figured it would be faster to just reinstall. The server had one 2tb hard drive running Xen and its VMs, and since Xen's install said it would erase the hard drive it was installed on, I plugged a new harddrive and installed Xen on it, without selecting any hard drives for storage. I Figured I could make it happen after install, using the partition on the old harddrive with all my VMs on it. So, now I'm kinda lost about what to do, I'm not used to Xen and most sites I've been finding are really unhelpful. I hope someone can guide me in the right way to fix this. I cant lose those VMs (got backups, but from inside the guests, not the VMs themselves).

  I noticed this while running a performance test with JMeter. For first half an hour everything was fine and the /server/all/tmp directory size was around 36M. Then suddenly the tmp directory grew up to 6.1G. The space was taken by jar files inside vfs-nested.tmp. I found https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-7126 but adding that config but it made no difference.

Any domain account that logs on to my 2008 machine gets a +- 20 second waiting time on "user profile service" I am using roaming profiles, they are around 8mb in size, and most folders are already redirected to a network share. event log registers no errors, there is more than 1 network card installed, but I have the correct card listed as "primary" Is there any way to increase verbosity of logging on specifically the "user profile service" ? More precisely, I'd like to make it look like in windows, and even more precisely I want to move the 'point' where the mouse cursor actually 'clicks' - on windows it's on the very end of the arrow, even outside of it, and on mac it's a little inside the arrow. I've done some research, and all the websites either tell me to get Mighty Mouse, which doesn't work on my system, and other's tell me how to change the size of my cursor.

  I have a server running Windows 2003 64-bit, that runs IIS in 32-bit mode. • Arch linux, openbox Monaco font problem

  Im trying to setup a minimal desktop with openbox window manager on Arch linux. I noticed these weird font rendering issues with Monaco font. Below font size 13, alternate font sizes are rendered in an aliased, ugly manner. The same Arch installation has no problem rendering Monaco font when running under xfce. some of the characters even look completely different. I tried tweaking my .fonts.conf, but no luck.
