  Greetings, I have asp.net check box control and asp.net dropdownlist control inside div tag. I want to hid the div when I check the box and unhide it when I unchecked the box. • How to Import XML generated by TFPT into Excel 2007?

  Below is the xml content generated by TFPT for the WIQL issued. When I try to import this XML into Excel 2007 XML source pane shows only "Id", "RefName" and "Value" as fields to be mapped. Whereas I would like to display System.Id, System.State, Microsoft.VSTS.Common.ResolvedDate, Microsoft.VSTS.Common.StateChangeDate as column headings and corresponding value as rows. • Writing a Servlet that checks to see if JSP's exist and forwards to another JSP if they aren't

  I've beeb tasked with writing a servlet that intercepts a call to and JSP in a specific directoy, check that the file exists and if it does just forwarding to that file, if if doesn't I'm to forward to a default JSP. I'm trying this to match the first two just as a test: "/meadinkent/record/comp_div[.='" & comp_div & "'] and /meadinkent/record/sty_ret_type[.='" & sty_ret_type & "']" Which is failing, saying no nodes are returned.   I think of a game as a state machine. Game States separate I/O processing, game logic and rendering into different classes: while (game_loop) { game->state->io_events(this); game->state->logic(this); game->state->rendering(); } You can easily change a game state in this approach. MVC separation works in more complex way: while (game_loop) { game->cotroller->io_events(this); game->model->logic(this); game->view->rendering(); } So changing Game States becomes error prone task (switch 3 MVC objects, not 1). What are practical ways of combining these 2 concepts?

• JSON.Net and Linq

  I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to linq and I'm working on a site that parses a json feed using json.net. The problem that I'm having is that I need to be able to pull multiple fields from the json feed and use them for a foreach block. The documentation for json.net only shows how to pull just one field. I've done a few variations after checking out the linq documentation, but I've not found anything that works best.   I'm looking for help with a php soapclient call: The call is to a remote panel and I want to pull off the log data. There are various services published via the WSDL and I am able to use several with no issues.   I can't believe I'm back to this after working with WPF for 3 months :) Consider very common setup: How do I configure the rowheights so that the top and bottom rows (menu bar and status bar) size to fit the height of their content, and the middle row (main content), fills the remaining available space in the program? • Enabling browser caching via java

  Good day, I am using CacheFilter to filter a certain path to my server (which outputs an image stream to the response stream). And I've configured it in my web.xml as follows: <filter> <filter-name>imagesCache</filter-name> <filter-class>com.samaxes.cachefilter.presentation.CacheFilter</filter-class> <init-param> <param-name>privacy</param-name> <param-value>public</param-value> </init-param> <init-param> <param-name>expirationTime</param-name> <param-value>2592000</param-value> </init-param> </filter> ... <filter-mapping> <filter-name>imagesCache</filter-name> <url-pattern>/my/path/*</url-pattern> </filter-mapping> Using my firefox, if I access my url via the address bar, it hits the server the first time but uses the cache during succeeding calls. However, if the url is inside my page ( i.e. <img src="..."/> ), it seems to hit the server all the time. [EDIT] After a few more testing, accessing my image via the address bar does not work all the time. But caching does seem to work more often with it than . As to whether it really, I am not sure. Additional Info: my path is something like /my/path?then=some&query=strings. Notice that it doesn't have an extension (i.e. gif, png, jpeg ) but it's mimetype is set properly ( image/gif, image/png, image/jpeg ). I am not sure if the lack of extension or the presence of the query strings have any impact. (Also, another note. though my url have query strings, I am using the same uri + query string over and over again with my tests). Any ideas why? Thanks

  Hi folks, I've been given the task of posting to a RESTful server. I'm new to the official "REST" but I've played with the concept before. However, this time I have an XML Payload example file that I am supposed to post. I'm struggling to figure out how the two relate. Can you help? Right now I can post to a specific site, say www.pcpost.com/schema/Application I can generate the URL for the inital, ie: postApplication?userid=4&... Being relatively new to web programming, I find that don't know how to take the following and interface it with the server. I'm at least familiar with Javascript and PHP. If this is impossible with those two types, I can learn whatever would be best. Thanks for your help on this. • pager problem with drupal and taxonomy

  Ok, so this is probably a silly question, but i thought i'd put it out there anyway: I know it's a strange solution to a simple problem, but i needed to control the listing of the nodes in the taxonomy pages, which i didn't feel i got the traditional way. So i went ahead and created a module that fetches the nodes based on taxonomy (taxonomy_select_nodes()), and i wanted a pager to go along with that. • Can't Prevent Nested Div's from Overflowing when using Percent Sizes and Padding in CSS?

  I want to be able to layout nested divs with these properties: width: 100% height: 100% padding: 10px I want it to be such that, the children are 100% width and height of the remaining space after padding is calculated, not before. Otherwise, when I have a document like the below example, the child makes the scrollbars appear. But the scrollbars are not the main issue, the fact that the child stretches beyond the width of the parent container is. I can use all position: absolute declarations, but that doesn't seem right. And what are your best practices in where to place these? I currently have them in my bootstrap class right after the Front Controller initialization.
