  • Populate struct values with function argument

    I am working on a program and part of it requires me to create a struct called DETAILS with the fields name, age, and height. I want to populate the record with data using a function argument.     I have a given XML document (structure can not be changed) and want to get the comments that are written above the nodes. The document looks like this: <!--Some comment here--> <attribute name="Title">Book A</attribute> <attribute name="Author"> <value>Joe Doe</value> <value>John Miller</value> </attribute> <!--Some comment here--> <attribute name="Code">1</attribute> So comments are optional, but if there is one, I want to get the comment above each attribute. Using /*/comment()[n] would give me comment n, but for n=2 I would naturally get the comment of the third attribute, so there is no connection between attributes and comments Any ideas? Thanks

  • Prevent empty tooltips at a wpf datagrid

    I am working on a calendar program, which consists mainly of a WPF DataGrid. As there is not always enough space to display all the entries of a day (which is a DataGridCell), a tooltip with all the entries of the day shell appear at mouse over. This works so far with the code snippet shown below. And now the (little) problem: If there are no entries for a day, no tooltip shell pop up.   • How do you 'clone' WebControls in C# .NET ?

    My basic question is, in .NET, how do I clone WebControls? I would like to build a custom tag, which can produce multiple copies of its children. Ultimately I intend to build a tag similar to in JSP/Struts. But the first hurdle I have is the ability to duplicate/clone the contents of a control. Consider this rather contrived example; <custom:duplicate count="2"> <div> <p>Some html</p> <asp:TextBox id="tb1" runat="server" /> </div> </custom:duplicate> The HTML markup which is output would be something like, <div> <p>Some html</p> <input type="text" id="tb1" /> </div> <div> <p>Some html</p> <input type="text" id="tb1" /> </div> Note: I know i have the id duplicated, I can come up with a solution to that later! So what we would have is my custom control with 3 children (I think) - a literal control, a TextBox control, and another literal control. In this example I have said 'count=2' so what the control should do is output/render its children twice. What I would hope to do is write some "OnInit" code which does something like: List<WebControl> clones; for(int i=1; i<count; i++) { foreach(WebControl c in Controls) { WebControl clone = c.Clone(); clones.Add(clone); } } Controls.AddRange(clones); However, as far as I can tell, WebControls do not implement ICloneable, so its not possible to clone them in this way. Any ideas how I can clone WebControls?

You can see that Company is a child class of ConfigurationItem. I'm trying to use JSON serialization using either the django.core.serializers.serializer or the WadofStuff serializer.     I can't disable escaping in a Zend_Form_Element_Submit, so when the label has special characters it won't display it's value.. This is my actual Zend Form piece of code: $this->submit = new Zend_Form_Element_Submit('submit'); $this->submit->setLabel('Iniciar Sesión'); $this->submit->setIgnore(true); $this->addElement($this->submit); I've tried $this->submit->getDecorator('Label')->setOption('escape', false); but I obtain an "non-object" error (maybe submit isn't using the "Label" Decorator).. I've also tried as suggested $this->submit->setAttrib('escape', false); but no text will be shown either.. Any idea? Thanks

    I am using Jquery UI tabs, and have it set to toggle the opacity with each slide change. I'm wondering if there's a way to apply the opacity toggle to only a single element within each tab, instead of the entire tab. My understanding of jQuery is pretty basic, so bear with me. But when i try to disable view and open perspective, that contains that view (myproject.view.input), it opened without that view, but also throws exception: !STACK 1 org.eclipse.ui.PartInitException: Could not create view: myproject.view.input at org.eclipse.ui.internal.ViewFactory.createView(ViewFactory.java:158) I can show full stacktrace if anyone want. I tried to debug my application and before i open my perspective whith that view, i checked currentState of my CommandState source provider, and all seemes to be ok: all variables values are correct and myproject.view.input.active = DISABLED Can anyone say, why exception is thrown?   • Authorize.net Parameters with activemerchant

    I'm using authorize.net and activemerchant in a rails app. When I make a purchase authorize.net sends back an email with information about the purchase. I should be able to send them the billing and shipping address information and have that returned in the email, but it's not returning any of the information, obviously I've got the varable names wrong, anybody know what they should be? I've been pouring over the authorize.net api docs and activemerchant's but can't find what I need.     I'm working on my first Android Augmented Reality application. The application works pretty good if the ARActivity runs as the first class (android.intent.category.LAUNCHER) in the manifest file. But when I added a splash screen which means the ARActivity will be the second to run(android.intent.category.DEFAULT), the camera seems not detecting the marker. I believe the problem is all in the manifest file. Any suggestions ?     In response to the earlier SO question "Enumerate over an enum in C++", I came up with the following reusable solution that uses type-safe enum idiom. I'm just curious to see the community feedback on my solution. This solution makes use of a static array, which is populated using type-safe enum objects before first use. Iteration over enums is then simply reduced to iteration over the array.     We've run into a serious issue with CF9 wherein values for certain struct keys can be referenced by other keys, despite those other keys never being set. See the following examples: Edit: Looks like it isn't just something our servers ate.
