    Hi everyone! I know for @XmlTransient annotation, but sometimes I need this element and in other use cases I really have to prevent it from unmarshaling, because it contains base64 text. So I need to exclude it because performance problems. Is there any way to dynamicly exclude one element from unmarshaling with JAXB?

    It's my first time trying to make anything really interesting in C# and I was trying to make a simple form or game screen where the user could define a custom resolution/screen ratio etc. or to automatically detect the max screen size/ratio and output? its my first game, so I was wondering if it was possible or if there would be any major issues with such, rather than just setting it to 1366x768 (the resolution of all of my computers).   • C# XPath id() not working?

    I'm using C# and I'm stumped. Does it just not support id()? I have a large XML file, about 4-5 of them at ~400kb, so I need some speed and performance wherever I can get it. I use XmlDocument.SelectSingleNode("id('blahblahblah')") and it doesn't get the node by id. Am I going crazy or is it that C# XPath just doesn't support id()?

    It is possible to use CRX with VS 2010: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1441554/can-i-use-coderush-xpress-in-visual-studio-2010 Refactor Key works. (After assigning the shortcut) What doesn't work is QuickNav and QuickFileNav. The Standard Shourtcut for QuickFileNav is CTRL+ALT+F, which is conflicted with VS View.F#Interactive. But removing this shortcut or changing the shortcuts for QuickNav and QuickFileNav doesn't bring up the nav-windows. NextReference (TABULATOR) doesn't work Any solutions? Other issues?

    I'm new to JSON and ajax, but i'm trying to access data in an array where the items are enumerated in a sub array within another sub array. So, I can access without issues data.items[0].details.specs.name data.items[0].details.specs.id etc But I run into problems with I try to access something like data.items[0].details.specs[1].name data.items[0].details.specs[1].id data.items[0].details.specs[2].name data.items[0].details.specs[2].id etc Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to access this second aspect?     Much of our C# release code is built with the 'Optimize code' option turned off. I believe this is to allow code built in Release mode to be debugged more easily. Given that we are creating fairly simple desktop software which connects to backend Web Services, (ie. not a particularly processor-intensive application) then what if any sort of performance hit might be expected? And is any particular platform likely to be worse affected? Eg. multi-processor / 64 bit.
