    i have an RoR application Log, which similar to the book store app, my logs_controller has all default action: index, show, update, create, delete.. now i need to add new action :toCSV, i defined it in logs_controller, and add new route in the config/routes as: map.resources :logs, :collection = { :toCSV = :get }. from irb, i checked the routes and see the new routes added already: rs = ActionController::Routing::Routes puts rs.routes GET /logs/toCSV(.:format)? {:controller="logs", :action="toCSV"} then ran ‘rake routes’ command in shell, it returned: toCSV_logs GET /logs/toCSV(.:format) {:controller="logs", :action="toCSV"} everything seems working. finally in my views code, i added the following: link_to 'Export to CSV', toCSV_logs_path when access it in the brower 'http://localhost:3000/logs/toCSV', it complained: Couldn't find Log with ID=toCSV i checked in script/server, and saw this one: ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound (Couldn't find Log with ID=toCSV): app/controllers/logs_controller.rb:290:in `show' seems when i click that link, it direct it to the action 'show' instead of 'toCSV', thus it took 'toCSV' as an id...anyone know why would this happen? and to fix it?   • jQuery class adding and removing with click and mouseleave

    I just want to control a div by toggling a class on click, as well as removing it when the mouse leaves the div. I had it working with mouseout, but when I entered over a child element, the mouseOut triggered, so I know I need to use mouseleave. I am just unsure how incorporate telling jQuery the mouse has entered. Yes I am new to this!     Hi everyone, I am trying to find a better way to assign classes to form elements in symfony. Currently, I can't seem to get away from assigning each one manually. ie: $this->widgetSchema['title']->setAttribute("class","fieldInput"); $this->widgetSchema['tag_line']->setAttribute("class","fieldInput"); $this->widgetSchema['description']->setAttribute("class","fieldInput"); // etc Things I tried without success 1) looping through $this-widgetSchema, treating it as an array and setting attributes to each key 2) $this-widgetSchema-setAttribute() but this only applied the class to the label that was generated, not the form element There must be a way to hit all the fields without specifically directing them? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I am developing an Android App that uses the Google APIs Client Library for Java version 1.12.0. I have added the jar files to the /libs folder (and not to a new /lib folder). I get the following error: Dx trouble processing "javax/xml/namespace/QName.class": Ill-advised or mistaken usage of a core class (java.* or javax.*) when not building a core library. I am NOT using Maven though, and all the answers by others seem to make use of Maven. Android version - 4.1.2 API level 16 Eclipse - Java EE Juno Any suggestions on how I can solve this?

  • Entity framework, adding custom entity to diagram

    Hello I'm using the entity framework that comes with 3.5sp1, and I'm trying to add a custom entity that I will propulate with searchresults from a stored procedure. But I have problems with the designer....... when I pick "Add + Entity" and give it a name, and hit save, the whole diagram stops working...... blah entities namespace could not be found..... all the other entities have lost its reference or summet. Works when I add a "table" to it that exists in database. But when custom it screws everything up. How should I fix this? I've imported the function, I just need to add an entity for it... I've read http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/gilf/archive/2009/03/13/mapping-stored-procedure-results-to-a-custom-entity-in-entity-framework.aspx but I cant get to step 3 since of all the errors when saving on step 2. /M

    For quickly mocking up UI, I'd like to be able to drag buttons onto a view in interface builder, then drag a connection from that button to the view that should appear when you click it. A subclass of UIButton is a little inconvenient to use in IB, so I'd prefer to add the behavior to UIButton itself. Unfortunately, it seems like outlets created in a category aren't visible in IB: @interface UIButton (myextensions) { IBOutlet UIView *outletDestination; } @end Can extra outlets be added this way?

    I would like to create a custom Raphael element, with custom properties and functions. This object must also contain predefined Raphael objects. For example, I would have a node class, that would contain a circle with text and some other elements inside it. The problem is to add this new object to a set. These demands are needed because non-Raphael objects cannot be added to sets. As a result, custom objects that can contain Raphael objects cannot be used. For example, when the product "Name Tag" is purchased, the extension would detect that the specific product has been ordered and assign a custom option of "Year" to it. The user does not see this, but the attribute is added and displayed in the admin when viewing the order. Are there any specific listeners our there to accomplish this?

    I've added a navigation bar to a UIViewController. It is displayed from another UIViewController only. I'd like to have a left side back button that is shaped similar to an arrow, just like the normal navigation bar back button. It seems I can only add a bar button through IB. I'm guessing the back button needs to be added programmatically. Any suggestions on how I should do this?

  • App crashes when adding array data to table cells

    I am trying to create a table view that loads a number of tweets into the table (one per cell etc). I am using NSXMLParser to get the information and have got as far as creating an array with the selection of tweets that I want. However, when I try to add them to the table cells, the app crashes on the line: cell.textLabel.text = cellValue; An NSLog before this shows in the console that the app is getting the correct data, so I am a bit stumped as to why this isn't working.   • Adding a Shadow to a NSImageView

    Sorry for the seemingly simple question. I have a NSImageView (added in interface builder) and want to add a shadow outline. I tried using the 'Image View Effects' section of the 'Inspector' but this required enabling a core animation layer. If I set it for the 'Content View' I have very strange appearance side effects. If I set it for the 'Image View' the shadow is cropped (sorry, can't resize the image view). Any ideas?

    I'm trying add a new view in a window-based application but not really getting anywhere. I've been going through a great MapKit tutorial lately, http://mithin.in/2009/06/22/using-iphone-sdk-mapkit-framework-a-tutorial/ and have successfully set it up and added some further buttons and customizations. However I've gotten stuck at what I assume ought to be a brain-dead simple step. I have added a toolbar to the bottom of the app, and a 'settings' style button. Following this I created a SettingsViewController complete with it's own view. Now I'd like to connect them but I've had absolutely no luck trying to figure out how to do this. I've also gone through several other good tutorials lately, http://miketeo.net/wp/index.php/2008/08/31/simple-iphone-tutorial-part-1.html http://blog.webscale.co.in/?p=228 http://www.iphonesdkarticles.com/2009/01/uitableview-searching-table-view.html but I've gotten lost trying to tie these two bits together.     I often have a need to take a list of objects and group them into a Map based on a value contained in the object. Eg. take a list of Users and group by Country. My code for this usually looks like: Map<String, List<User>> usersByCountry = new HashMap<String, List<User>>(); for(User user : listOfUsers) { if(usersByCountry.containsKey(user.getCountry())) { //Add to existing list usersByCountry.get(user.getCountry()).add(user); } else { //Create new list List<User> users = new ArrayList<User>(1); users.add(user); usersByCountry.put(user.getCountry(), users); } } However I can't help thinking that this is awkward and some guru has a better approach. The closest I can see so far is the MultiMap from Google Collections. Are there any standard approaches? Thanks!
