• Visual Studio 2008: Start custom build target via project/solution context menu - without add-in

  I have a custom build target in a visual studio 2008 c# project. Is there a simple way to add a context menu item to the project, so that the custom build target can be executed via the ide? The build target is not integrated into the default build process and has to be started by hand. This step should be simple for all developers and should not force them to execute msbuild from the command line. Any hint for a simple, working solution? regards, Achim

One of the views has a very large list of data and on the iPhone app, there's a scrollbar of sorts on the right hand side that displays the letters of the alphabet and allows the user to quickly scroll through the list this way.   It could be a HTML question as well... I have a UIWebView with a page (from the hand made html string) loaded. For the url link on the page, if you tap on it, it has gray as background, which I think is the default behavior on iPhone. Is there a way to programmingly (thru javascript) change that to be other colors, say, blue? It doesn't seem to work for me anyhow.

  Hello, im messing with the encodings. For one hand i have a url that is responding me in UTF-8 (im pretty sure thanks to firebug plugin). Im opening the url reading the content in UTF-8 using the following code: StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream(),System.Text.Encoding.UTF8); For other hand i have a transformation xslt sheet with the following code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl"> <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/> <xsl:template match="@* | node()"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@* | node()"/> <br/> hello </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> This xslt sheet is saved in UTF-8 format too.   So I am Reflector-ing some framework 2.0 code and end up with the following deconstruction fixed (void* voidRef3 = ((void*) & _someMember)) { ... } This won't compile due to 'The right hand side of a fixed statement assignment may not be a cast expression' I understand that Reflector can only approximate and generally I can see a clear path but this is a bit outside my experience.   I have some command-line commands to execute on a Windows machine. The programs I need to run are only available on Windows. Is there a way to easily to do something like I would do with SSH? Example of what I mean: ssh [email protected] "remote command to execute" ...or do I have to Remote Desktop just to do this? (I'd like to run the commands programmatically from another computer rather than running them by hand.)
